Anthony Martinez
Anthony Capone Martinez, 16, a Prescott resident for four years, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, in Prescott.
He was born on Aug. 14, 1981, in Torrance, Calif., to Michael A. Martinez and Elizabeth L. Jacquez.
Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth; grandmother and step-grandfather, Jennie and Don Williams of Prescott; grandfather, Salvador Jacquez of Harbor City, Calif.; grandparents, Robert and Mary Martinez of Carson, Calif.; brothers, Donovan and Mark Jacquez, both of Prescott, and Joey and Steven Martinez, both of Taos, N.M.; great-grandparents, Juan and Concha Limas of Canutillo, Texas; great-grandmother, Grace Valdez of Torrance, Calif.; and God-parents, Charles Trujillo and Mary Jacquez.
A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Memory Chapel Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Richard Farrell, C.M.F., will be the celebrant.
Interment will be in Taos, N.M.

Bonnie Johnson
Bonnie L. Johnson, 55, died Friday, Nov. 28, 1997, at her home in Prescott.
She was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Creighton and Velma (Holden) Blazer.
Mrs. Johnson moved to Tempe, Ariz., in 1988 from Springfield, Va., and then to Prescott in 1994.
She was a contract manager for the U.S. government, retiring in 1988. She also worked for Motorola as a contract manager, retiring again in January 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; daughter, Marsha L. Jones of Phoenix; sons, Jeffrey C. Jones of Phoenix, Mark T. Jones of Teton Village, Wyo., Michael B. Johnson of Fairfax, Va., and David R. Johnson of McLean, Va.; sisters, Charlene L. Staten of Wrightwood, Calif., and Dawn I. Hults of Palmdale, Calif.; mother, Velma L. Blazer of Pearblossom, Calif., and five grandchildren.
Memorial services are today at 2 p.m. at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott, with the Rev. Peter Perry, pastor at the Prescott United Methodist Church, officiating.
The family suggests contributions in Mrs. Johnson's name to YRMC Restricted Fund, 1003 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Arizona, 86303.
Concluding services will be at Arlington National Cemetery.

Casimir Wozniak
Casimir J. Wozniak, 73, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., to Walter and Mary Wozniak.
Mr. Wozniak was a metal finisher, and owned and operated his own metal plating company for many years. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
He married Jean Janick on May 17, 1947, in Chicago, Ill. They moved to Arizona from Santa Fe, N.M., 12 years ago. They moved to Prescott Valley six and a half years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; sons, Wayne of Prescott Valley and Paul of Chicago, Ill.; daughter, Linda Wyckoff of Florida; sister, Emily Haines of Chicago; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Chester.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Veterans Administration chapel. Interment will be at 1 p.m., with military honors, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.

Robert Walker
Robert Vernon Walker, 70, of Prescott Valley, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, in Cottonwood.
He was born Feb. 27, 1927, in Wetumka, Okla.
Mr. Walker was a truck driver and also did factory work. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the battle of Iwo Jima and in several other campaigns, and received the Purple Heart, with clusters.
He was an accomplished harmonica player and used the stage name, "String Bean II."
Survivors include his daughters, Robbie Jo Holcomb of Houston, Texas, and Elizabeth Anne Poplawski of Prescott Valley; brother, Burnett of Commerce City, Colo.; half-brother, Darrell Dean Burch of Aurora, Colo.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Lambe.
Private family services were held. Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo.

Genevieve Schneider
Genevieve L. Schneider, 77, died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 15, 1920, in St. Regis, Mont., to Samuel Jorgenson and Olive Lawrence.
Mrs. Schneider was a counselor and a great supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous, and had worked in that field to help people in need for more than 20 years. She moved to Arizona 28 years ago from Oregon, and lived in Chino Valley for the past 11 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Geraldine Scott of Chino Valley; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.

Mary Fedor
Mary I. Fedor, 83, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 6, 1914, in Booton, N.J., to Michael and Katherine Quick. She moved to Arizona from California 68 years ago, and lived in Prescott Valley for the past 15 years.
Mrs. Fedor married Frank C. Fedor on Aug. 2, 1952, in Harrison, N.J. She enjoyed returning to New Jersey by automobile and seeing the countryside, and visiting with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Frank of Prescott Valley; daughter, Gail Ann Keiderling of Caldwell, N.J.; brother, John Quick of Carney, N.J.; sister, Ann Sullivan of Redbank, N.J.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held.

Myrtle Rotvold
Myrtle Selma Evangeline Rotvold, 73, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1997, at her home in Prescott Valley.
She was born Feb. 21, 1924, in Buxton, N.D., to Joseph and Lena (Sundeen) Schultz.
Mrs. Rotvold attended the American Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prescott, where she was a member of the Sarah Circle.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ingolf; daughters, Marlys Wright of Apache Junction and LaDonna Buskirk of Flagstaff; sons, Joel of Devils Lake, N.D., Irvin of Mesa and Daniel of Prescott; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the American Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1085 Scott Drive, with Pastor Wallace Cole officiating.
