Phillip Lee Hall, 67, a resident of Atlanta and formerly of Sedona, died April 14.
Hall, a retired shiatsu therapist and a public speaker, is survived by a daughter, Michelle [David] Bishop; a son, Eric [Carrie] Hall; a brother, Sheldon [Ann] Hall; three grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 18, at 3 p.m., at Unity Church, Gainesville, Ga.

Phyllis Heiberger

Phyllis LaRae Heiberger died May 19 peacefully at home.
She was born Aug. 17, 1934, in Alexandria, Minn. She and her family moved to Maywood, Ill., where she spent her childhood and most of her adult life. She and her husband retired to Village of Oak Creek in 1999.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bud; three daughters, Heidi, Lori and Sherri; and five grandchildren.
She was a remarkable lady and she will be missed.
Ralph Singleton

Ralph Singleton, 93, of Sedona, died July 16 at his home. He was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Duluth, Minn. He leaves a daughter Mary Power (John) of California; a son Dennis of Virginia; a brother Glenn of Georgia; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow.

Ray A. Elliott Jr., M.D., 80, a resident of Sedona, died Friday, Feb. 9, after a brief illness.
Elliott is survived by two sons, David and Donald; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Church of the Red Rocks, 54 Bowstring Drive, Sedona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Elliott's name may be made to the Intensive Care Unit of Verde Valley Medical Center, in Cottonwood.

Ray E. Gentry died Aug. 9, in Sedona. He was born on Aug. 11, 1923, in Sand Springs, Okla.
He served in the 8th Army Air Corps as a radioman in England during World War II.
Ray is survived by his wife, Janet; four sons, Jim, Steve, Rick, and Kelly; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and one sister.
A celebration of his life will be held later.

Ron Lichon, 68, of Flagstaff, died Aug. 15. He was born in Saginaw, Mich., Dec. 13, 1940, to Edward and Anne Lichon.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife Carol, married 48 years; his children, Kris Ahern (Kevin) of Sedona, Lori Buentello (Pedro) of Chandler and David Lichon of Denver; parents, Edward and Marge (stepmother); brothers, Keith and Ken; sister, Janet; and four grandchildren.

Vyrion E. Davis, 82, of Sedona, died Aug. 16. He was born in Big Spring, Texas, the son of Roy J. and Bertha Davis.
He leaves his wife of 58 years Eltie Davis; daughters Sue Albritton, Ellen Gentals, and Terry Notgrass; sisters Evelyn Cupp, Sue Norwood and Jeanne Bingham; ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, Church of the Nazarene, Village of Oak Creek, 2 p.m.

Preceded in death by husband Robert E. Young, Wilma M. Young is survived by daughter Dorothy Young of Sedona; son Robert Young of Urbandale, Iowa; and son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Marianne Young of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren Steven Young, Susan Anderson, Jason Young, Christopher Young, Rachel Adams; and great-grandchildren Christina Anderson, Avery Young and Caden Young. Internment will be at a later date in Omaha.

Kathy, 60, formerly of Sedona, and Longmont, Colo., died recently. She was born in Rich Hill, Mo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was the beloved mother of daughters Dawna Johnson and Carrie and Nicole DeJiacomo, and the cherished grandmother of Niko Ganesh and Hayden Fox.
A celebration of her life was held Sunday, July 12, at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary in Littleton, Colo.
Rollin Brewer

Rollin Brewer, 85, of Sedona, died June 11.
He moved to Sedona in 1977, where he became very active in the local bridge community. His participation in the Sedona Oak Creek Duplicate Bridge Club was the joy of his life here. He will be missed by his many bridge playing friends.
He is survived by three children and three grandchildren.
Public memorial service will be at the Elks Club, Airport Road, at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 22.

Morgan Orrin Flaherty, 84, died June 9 in Sedona.
Born in Elk River, Minn., he is preceded in death by sons John and Neil; daughter, Cynthia Mackey; sister, Colleen Paschke; Flaherty is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce; daughters Karen Lane, Kathy Lemelson and Deborah Bingham; a brother, Nace; a sister, Jeri Lee; and 29 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at 12 p.m., Friday, June 13, at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, with service to follow at 1 p.m..

Cheryl P. Young, 65, formerly of Sedona, died Saturday, Dec. 5, in Durango, Colo.
She was born and raised in Maine.
She is survived by her husband Henry C. Young, of Mancos, Colo.; two sons Greg of Sedona and Jeff of North Carolina; three sisters; one brother; and five grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service for her in Colorado in January and another one in Maine in May.

Don Lappe

Don “Stretch” Lappe, 58, former resident of Sedona, passed away in Las Vegas, Nev., on Oct. 10, of cancer.
He is survived by wife Pam, mother Betty, brothers Bob, Ron and Joe, sisters Mary, Donna, Pat and Vicki.
Don was a veteran of the Vietnam war.
Duane Nelson

Duane Nelson died Nov. 7. He lived in the Village of Oak Creek for 16 years. He was active in the church, Little League Baseball and Kiwanis. He served in the army for two years.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie [married 58 years], sons Bruce and Doug, daughter-in-law Cindy, grandson Scott and sister Marilyn Langford.
Memorial service will be Friday, Nov. 13, at Valley Baptist Church, 2 p.m.
