Pauline Mae Witter
Pauline Mae Witter, 70, went to be with our Lord in heaven on Thursday, June 10, 2004.
She was born May 30, 1934, in Independence, Iowa to Paul and Margaret Cooley.
Pauline was blessed to pass away in her home surrounded by her family.
Pauline shared 44 wonderful years of marriage to her husband, Donald.
They lovingly raised five children, who in turn blessed them with 18 grandchildren.
Pauline was a beautiful mother who will be truly missed.
Her body gave out but her love will live on.
When asked to describe their grandma words like caring, loving, sweet, giving, spunky, crazy, cool, and good-hearted were used.
She made the best waffles in the world! To Pauline, her grandkids gave her the greatest joy and happiness. Heaven gained the best grandma ever.
Pauline was survived by her husband, Donald; sisters, Joan Barrett, Mary Jane Nauman, and brother, Charles Cooley; along with daughters, Sharon Weisgerber (Gary), Susan Jones, and Linda Spires; sons, Thomas Witter (Sandra) and Donald Witter Jr.(Paula).
Also, Pauline’s grandchildren, Jason, Rocky (Leah), Amanda, Joey, Jenny, Wendi, Danielle, Alex, Tony, Matthew, Tyler, Tawnya, Cassie, Rebecca, Tim, Leanna, Paul, Evelyn, Melissa, and Joy.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Margaret Cooley and her sister, Evelyn Knutson.
Services take place on June 16, 2004, at 1 p.m., at the American Legion Post 40, located on Highway 89 and Road 3 South.

Marion Iris (Miller) Parker
Marion Iris (Miller) Parker passed on peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday morning, June 19, 2004.
To all who were blessed to have known her she will be irreplaceably missed.
Most remembered for her contagious laugh, just one of the many touches of her enchantment she brought to the world, Marion was indeed “A very classy lady.”
Marion is survived by her beloved husband, Karl Parker of Chino Valley; her son, Nimar Silva of Tucson; her sister, Silvia Stinger of England; her brother, Frank Miller of England; three grandchildren and an extensive group of relatives and friends in both England and the United States.
A gathering of friends and a viewing was held Friday, June 25, 2004, at the Hampton Funeral Home, in Prescott, followed by a brief service.
Marion began a professional dancing career at the tender age of 16, and was best known locally as one of Prescott’s finest and most personable beauticians, for the past 17 years.
Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.

Marion Iris Parker, 66, of Chino Valley died on June 19, 2004.
Services were held on June 25 at the Victorian Chapel at Hampton Funeral Home.

Mary “Mollie” Walter
Mary “Mollie” Walter, 80, passed away in her sleep in Sibley, Iowa, early morning June 18, 2004.
She had just turned 80.
She was a resident of Chino Valley during the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
She was active selling real estate, working as a dispatcher with the police department, and as an EMT with the fire department.
She is survived by six children, Mary (Dee) Jilderda of Sibley, Dorothy Ehlig of Sunny Valley, Ore., Selma (Sam) Young, and Candace “Candy” Bullock, both of Phoenix, Larry Walter of Madera, Calif., and Diana Hodges of Las Vegas, Nev.
We will miss you Mollie. May you rest in peace.
Tyson Burkhart
Tyson Burkhart, 81, of Chino Valley died on June 21, 2004 at the VA Medical Center, in Prescott.
Private cremation was at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.
Memorial services will be in West Virginia.

Bernadette Elizabeth Smith
Bernadette Elizabeth Smith, 77, died on June 11, 2004 at her home in Paulden.
She was born on October 20, 1926 in Seattle, Washington.
Services were held on June 29, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Prescott.
The family was cared for by Chino Valley Funeral Home.
Kyle Patton
Kyle Patton, 8 of Spring Valley, died June 14, 2004. He was born June 12, 1996.
Kyle is survived by his father, William Patton; mother, Shannon Patton, his grandparents who lived next door to him, Butch and Ozell Wicker, his aunt next door, Ila Kuntz, and he has numerous Aunts and Uncles in the Mayer and Spring Valley area.
On his mother’s side, his grandmother, Leslie lives in Mayer and the rest of her family is from Payson.
Family members include Breylyn Allen; aunt, Ed Morrow; uncle, Quata Morrow, great grandmother, Glaydy Best and great grandfather, Jack Best of Phoenix.
Kyle attended Mayer Elementary School and had a lot of friends.
He was a wonderful son and is dearly missed by all.
Private services were held June 22.
Menke Funeral Home of Sun City assisted the family with the arrangements.

He was born on April 4, 1917.

She was born on January 15, 1966 in Buffalo, N.Y.

She was born on December 31, 1938 in Malaysia.
