Nelson L. Secor Jr., 68, of Apache
Junction, Arizona died Sunday,
July 24, 2005 in Syracuse, New
York. Mr. Secor, a lead custodian
for Mesa Public Schools, was born
in Rome, New York. Mr. Secor is
survived by his wife Louise, sons
Nelson III, Mark, Gerald, and
Randy, his mother Mary Carrier,
sisters Susan and Robin, brothers
Clarence, David, and Gerald, 13
grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be
held 5:30 P.M., August 12th, 2005,
at Apache Junction Mortuary.

Helen G. Webb, 91, of Apache
Junction Arizona died Saturday,
July 30, 2005 in Mesa, Arizona.
Ms. Webb, a licensed Vocational
Nurse and supervisor of respiratory
and cardio pulmonary lab,
was born in Eastland, Texas. She
is survived by son G.W., and
daughter-in-law Cheri, two grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by parents Andy and Fay Gist, sister
Opal, brother Lester and stepmother
Ruby Gist. Services will be
held in Rendon, Texas. Apache

Irineo S. Arriola, II, 86, of
Apache Junction, passed away
on Wednesday, December 7,
2005. Mr. Arrioloa, a security
guard, was born in Manilla, Philippines
and is survived by his
wife Rosita; daughters Marilou
and Sandra; sons Brando,
Irineo III, Andre and ten grandchildren.

Raynold Wayne Anderson, of

Friday, December 16, 2005. Mr.
Anderson, a performer who was
well known for his portrayal of
Theodore Roosevelt, was born in
Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr.
Anderson is survived by his son
Dirk Anderson; mother Jeanne
Anderson; sisters Janet (Robert)
Lokhorst; brothers David (Susan),
and Douglas Anderson and one
grandchild. Mr. Anderson loved to
read stories to the Apache Junction
school children who called him

Creek, passed away on Wednesday,
December 14, 2005. Miss
Simon, a student a Florence High
school, was born in Sellersville,
Pennsylvania. Miss Simon is survived

December 19, 2005. Ms. Willis, a
credit union manager, was born in
Burlington, Iowa and is survived
by her daughter Diane Rock; stepdaughter

Monday, February 6, 2006. Mr.
Casper, a large equipment sales
person, was born in Union County,

Lynn M. Hance
Lynn M. Hance, 78, of Apache
Junction, passed away on Sunday,
February 5, 2006. Mr. Hance, a
farmer, was born in Grilley Township,
North Dakota. Mr. Hance is
survived by his daughters Lynette
Restemayer, Beverly Dougan and
Judith Doeden; son James Hance;
sisters Eva Hansen, Dorothy
Steffon and Faye Zurcher; brothers
Wilford and Glenn Hance;
eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren
and one great-great
grandson. Apache Junction Mortuary

Ervin Miller
Ervin Miller died peacefully on February
4,2006. He was born January
25, 1920 in Waukon, Washington.
Ervin was married to his loving and
devoted wife of nearly 63 years,
Mable Lucille Ossander, in Astoria
Oregon on April 29, 1943. He
moved his family to Alaska in 1950
where they homesteaded 141 acres
on Brock Road in Fairbanks.
Erv built their home, adding a room
at a time, where it still stands today.
Both Erv and Mable are members
of the Pioneers of Alaska. Ervin
entered US Naval Service, Coast
Guard, on October 30, 1942 as a
Gunners Mate, Seaman First Class.
He received his Honorable Discharge
on October 9, 1945. He
served during World War II on the
USS Cyane in the Aleutian Islands,
Alaska. He was honored to wear
the Asiatic-Pacific Area campaign
ribbon. Before retiring from the City
of Fairbanks on December 2, 1976,
they traveled to Maui, where they
owned a condo in Keihi, to escape
the harsh Fairbanks winters. They
eventually settled in Apache Junction,
Arizona in 1993. Ervin was an
avid fisherman, taking his beloved
dog Kookie on the Honda Trail 90
down to the creek to fish for fresh
grayling. They later owned a Trophy
Bayliner and fished in Valdez
many summers for salmon and halibut.
Ervin's secret recipe for smoked
salmon won him 2nd place in the
state championship. While residing
in Apache Junction, Erv participated
in tournament shuffleboard
and horseshoes. Ervin is preceded
in death by his sister, Mildred
Cederbloom, father Arthur Joseph
Miller, mother Hildaguard Louise
Heinamann, step-mother Beryl
Miller, and grandson Christopher
Ferguson. Surviving family members
include his wife Mable Lucille
Ossander Miller, daughters Sherrie
Christensen(Allan), Vonalue Miller,
and Jackie Melson (Denny), 5
grandchildren Deborah, Deanna,
Dorene, Jason, and Scott and 7
great-grandchildren, Cory, Kadie,
Brigitte, Kyle, Casey, Trey, and
Parker. Services will be private and
interment will be at Birch Hill cemetery
in Fairbanks, Alaska. In lieu
of flowers donations may be made
to any kidney foundation, or cancer
research foundation.
Erma C. Poling
Erma C. Poling, 101, of Apache Junction,
passed away on Sunday, February
5, 2006. Mrs. Poling, a nurse
assistant, was born in Sycamore,
West Virginia. Mrs. Poling is survived
by her daughter Edith. Services
to be held out of state.

Charles H. Harvey, 64, of Queen
Creek, passed away on Monday,
February 20, 2006. Mr. Harvey, a
heavy equipment manager, was
born in Lincoln, Maine. Mr. Harvey
is survived by his daughter Angie;

grandchildren and one great grandchild.
