October 2, 2006. Mrs. Sine, a cashier
at Williams Air Force Base, was
born in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
She is survived by her husband
Gene A. Sine; aunt Marie
Hiott of Greenville, SC. Memorials
may be sent to the American Cancer
Society, PO Box 5377, Phoenix,
AZ 85010 or Banner Gardens Hospice,
7231 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa,
AZ 85208. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

James Daley Stalnaker
James Daley Stalnaker, 82, of
Apache Junction passed away
Sunday, October 1, 2006 in Mesa.
Services were held Friday, October
6, 2006 at 3 p.m. at Memorial Services,
Mountain View Mortuary
Chapel, 7900 E Main St., Mesa, AZ.
Mountain View Mortuary Chapel
handled the arrangements.

Gary K. Anderson
Gary K. Anderson, 66, of Phoenix,
passed away Wednesday, October
4, 2006, in Mesa. Mr. Anderson,
retired US Navy, was born in
Mankato, MN. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Sue Ann Ewers
Sue Ann Ewers, 56, of Apache
Junction passed away Thursday
October 12, 2006. Mrs. Ewers a
homemaker was born in Flint,
Michigan. She is survived by her
husband Charles E. Ewers; daughters,
Amy (Jeff) Wilson; Betsy
(Bruce) Dougherty; Cindy Ewers
and Dusty Ewers; father Raymond
Rodabaugh; sisters Pat Hackney;
Deborah Mite, brothers Andre and
Donny Prier; Randy and Ryan
Rodabaugh; 5 grandchildren
Shiane; Alexis; Joshua; Joey;
Skyler. Visitation will be October 16,
2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at
Apache Junction Mortuary, 398
Old West Highway. Services immediately
following at 1:00 p.m.
Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

Robert Lende Lines
Robert Lende Lines, 86, of Apache
Junction, passed away Thursday,
October 5th, in Mesa. Mr. Lines was
born in Cottonwood, Minnesota,
and was well-loved and respected
by all who knew him. He farmed
earlier in his life and eventually became
head of Air Pollution Control
for the City of Minneapolis.
Mr. Lines is survived by his 3 children,
Richard, John, and Judy
Lines; his sister, Florence Stevens;
and his brother, William Lines.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice
of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower
St., Phoenix, AZ, 85014. Bunker
Family handled the arrangements
& the beautiful memorial service at
the base of the Superstitions.

Michael A. Williams
Michael A. Williams, age 67, was
found passed at his residence in
Apache Junction on Thursday
October 5, 2006, following a courageous
battle with diabetes and high
blood pressure. He was born September
1, 1939, in Hampton, IA, to
the late Lloyd and Faith Williams
where he attended and graduated
high school. Michael served in the
U.S. Navy, during the Korean War,
where he patrolled the Formosa
Straits. On October 16, 1970, he was
united in marriage to Valeda C.
Zohner in Norfolk, NE. During their
life together in Norfolk, two wonderful
children were born unto
them; Shelly Williams in July 1972
and Scott Williams in May 1974. In
1975, Michael and Valeda moved
to Scottsbluff, NE, where together
they owned several businesses
from pizza parlors to ski rental and
sports shops. Then in 1979 they
decided to move to Lolo, Montana
where, together again, they purchased
a restaurant and named it
The White Mule Inn. In 1984
Michael then moved to Apache
Junction, AZ where he remained
until his passing in 2006. Michael
was a member of the Loyal Order
of Moose Apache Junction No 2039
in Apache Junction, AZ where he
served as the Administrator for
several years. He was also a member
of the Elks Lodge and also frequented
the American Legion and
the Eagles with close friends.
Michael is survived by his former
wife, Valeda C. Williams; his son
Scott Michael Williams; his daughter
and her husband, Shelly and
Sean Jaggers; two grandchildren,
Malik Jovan Morgan, Seattle, WA,
Chloe Claire Jaggers, Spokane,
WA; one sister, Nancy McNeil,
Santa Cruz, CA. He is further survived
by nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many friends. Memorial
services for Michael A. Williams
will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday,
October 21, 2006, at the Loyal
Order of Moose Apache Junction
No 2039, 350 West 16th Ave.
Apache Junction, AZ 85220. We
would like to thank all of the staff
of the Moose Lodge, and friends
for their help and support.

Charles 'Cadillac' Dzugas
Charles 'Cadillac' Dzugas of
Apache Junction passed away Friday
October 13, 2006 in Mesa.
Cadillac, a motorcycle mechanic,
was born in Detroit, Michigan. He
is survived by his wife Joan, step
daughter Shawna, son Joseph and
3 grandchildren. Apache Junction
Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Terry 'Dawg' Erwin
Terry 'Dawg' Erwin, 47, of
Apache Junction passed away on
Thursday October 12, 2006 in
Mesa, AZ.
Mr. Erwin, a Dog Trainer, was born
in Marion, Ohio. He is survived by
his wife Joni Erwin. Memorial services
will be held October 29, 2006
at 11:00 a.m. at 2262 E Superstition
Blvd. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.

George H. Johnson
George H. Johnson, 87, of Apache
Junction passed away Sunday,
October 8, 2006. Memorial service
November 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at
American Legion Post #27 located
at 1018 S. Meridian Dr., Mesa AZ.
Wyman Cremation and Burial
Chapel handled the arrangements.

Mary S. 'Marian' Thompson
Mary S. Marian Thompson, 87, of
Tucson, died at her home on October
13. She was born on May 27,
1919 in Elk Mountain, SD, daughter
of the late Harry and Bonnie
(Roby) Smith. She was raised in
Sheridan, Wyoming and graduated
from Sheridan High School in 1938.
She and her late husband, Merritt
J. 'Tommy' Thompson, who predeceased
her on March 21, 2005
lived in Linch, Wyoming for 32
years before moving to Apache
Junction, AZ in 1982. They later
settled in Tucson, AZ. She is survived
by two sons, Ron (Linda)
Thompson of Riverton, Wyoming
and Stanley (Robyn) Thompson of
Tucson. She leaves three granddaughters
and one step-grandson,
one step-granddaughter, five
great-grandchildren and eight
step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Thompson
was a member of the Eastern
Star. She was a very loving wife,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother
and mother-in-law. Services
were held on Tuesday, October
17, 2006 at Evergreen Mortuary.
Interment followed in Evergreen
cemetery. Evergreen Mortuary
& cemetery, Tucson, handled
the arrangements.

Donald C. Willson
Donald C. Willson, age 73, of
Apache Junction, AZ passed away
on Friday, October 7th, 2006. Don
was born in Chamois, Missouri on
September 14, 1933, the son of
Clyde and Bernice Willson. He was
a resident of Wichita, Kansas from
1951 until the fall of 1992. He met
his first and only wife in 1951. They
dated for two years until they
eloped and were married February
7th, 1953. Two days later, Don left
for basic training at Hunter Air
Force Base. After basic training,
Don was stationed in Amarillo, TX,
Savannah, GA, Jacksonville, AK
and Wichita, KS. He was a former
employee of Beech, Cessna and
Ralph Sandefur Ford and co-owned
MacArthur Auto Salvage
with Charles Brown from 1961
through 1970. He was self-employed
from 1971 until the fall of
1992 as a wholesale auto parts reconditioner.
In the fall of 1992, Don
and his wife sold their home and
business, bought an RV and traveled
around the United States and
Canada for eight years. They
settled down in Apache Junction,
AZ, where they became full-time
residents and have lived for the last
six years. Don was never content
to be idle, but was constantly busy
doing odd jobs for other people for
home-baked cookies as payment.
Over the years, he became known
as the handyman who could do
everything and would do anything.
He painted benches and fences,
fixed people's cars, air conditioners
and TV's, built kitchen and
bathroom cabinets, put in new wood
floors and built workshops and tool
sheds. He also enjoyed woodworking
and playing old guitars that he
rebuilt. He is survived by Dorothy
Ann (Posey) Willson of Apache
Junction, AZ; a daughter, Sue
(Willson) Ozbun of Portland, OR; a
son, Michael Willson of Beaverton,
OR; and one grand-daughter,
Nicole (Ozbun) Callas of Beaverton,
OR. He is also survived by four sisters,
Kathryn Kailer, Marge Glazier,
Vivian Gawthrop and Carolyn
Wasylk, all of Wichita, KS. Don's
younger brother, Gerald Willson,
also of Wichita, KS passed away
in 2002.
A memorial service will be held to
celebrate Don's life at 10:30 a.m. on
Friday, October 27th, 2006 at Cornerstone
Christian Church, 5531 E
37th N, Wichita, KS 67220. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be sent
to: Cancer Support Group at Desert
Chapel UMC, 462 N Palo Verde
Drive, Apache Junction, AZ 85219
or Don Willson Memorial, Derby
Senior High School (workshop)

Wichita, KS 67204.

Laura May Behrendo, 76, of
Apache Junction, passed away on
Sunday, April 2, 2006. Ms.
Behrendo, an office administrator,
was born in Todd County, South
Dakota. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.
Vincent Eugene Cullen
Vincent Eugene Cullen, 53, of
Apache Junction, passed away on
Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Mr. Cullen,
a bartender, was born in Denver,
Colorado. Apache Junction Mortuary
handled the arrangements.
