Lois E. Trigg
Lois E. Trigg, 67, passed away on Oct. 19, 2004 in Peoria.
She was born in Kansas City, Mo. on March 11, 1937.
She is survived by her husband Elmer L. Trigg, daughter Stacey Schneider, sons Russell Trigg and Alan Trigg, brother John Hauser, and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 23 at Calvary Baptist Church, with interment at Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Tim Willis.
Arrangements were made by Frey Funeral Home.
Eddie Maureen Barnett Peek
Eddie Maureen Barnett Peek was born July 30, 1914 at Naples, Texas.
She died Nov. 26, 2004 at the home of her son in Wittmann.
She is survived by her husband Carl Peek and their children Wanda Carlyn McDonald of Seneca, S. C., James Orvil Peek (Diane) of Wittmann, Bettie Lou Goff (Stan) of Seneca, S.C., and Gayland Lamar Peek (Beth) of Canyon Lake, Texas.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Carl and Eddie were married on May 5, 1934 in Texarkana, Ark.
They had 70 years of being best friends as well as husband and wife.
Eddie was much loved and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.

A wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend to many died Tuesday, Jan. 25, at age 58 after a gallant fight with cancer.

Delbert H. Tharp, 85, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 16 in Brenham, Texas. He was born in Richmond, Ind., on Dec. 12, 1920.

Private family services will be held for Dorothy Shreve, age 96, who passed away April 18 in Peeples Valley. She came to Arizona in 1968 from California and has resided in Yarnell and Peeples Valley.
Dorothy Brown Koopman
Dorothy Brown Koopman of Yarnell passed away peacefully on Dec. 27, 2005 at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott in the presence of her two daughters.
She was 83.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1921, in Chicago to Fred and Lillian Blaul.
Dorothy had a passion for helping those less fortunate and opened her heart and home to anyone in need. She functioned as an emergency foster care mother in Chicago prior to earning her nursing credentials at age 50.
Dorothy worked at hospitals both in Chicago and California before devoting her career to in-home nursing.
Dorothy is survived by daughters Sandi Taylor (Jose) and Darlene Koopman (Kent); stepsons Kent, Kerry and Kirby Koopman; granddaughters Kim Childs, Dana Knight (Ron); and four great-grandchildren Jarrod and Jake Childs and Ronnie and Nicole Knight.
She was preceded in death by husbands Culver Brown and Earle Koopman and grandson Steven Taylor.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date in California.

Funeral ceremonies for Robert Woolsey, 74, of Safford, were conducted Monday, May 13, 2002, at the Safford LDS Stake Center by Bishop Skyler Evans. The family prayer was offered by Sue Gherkins. The organist was Shirley Payne and chorister Jeannine Carpenter. The opening hymn was "I Need Thee Every Hour" and invocation was offered by Bishop Skyler Evans. Gene Seale provided the life story after which Jeannine, Joe and Nina Carpenter sang "Each Life That Touches Ours For Good." Dick Bingham offered the sermon. The closing hymn was "How Great Thou Art," and the benediction was offered by Steve Goodman. Concluding ceremonies with the dedication of the grave by Gene Seale and military rites conferred by the Gila Valley Veteran's Honor Guard followed in the Safford Cemetery. Chris Goodman, Michael Curtis, Jeff Harvey, Morgan Seale, Ben Russell and Danny Lujan served as the casket bearers.

Funeral ceremonies for Daniel Cook, 64, of Thatcher, were conducted Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at the Thatcher LDS Church Street Chapel by Bishop Mike Schern. Concluding ceremonies followed in the Thatcher Cemetery.

Services were held recently for Lenore Montierth Duncan, who died Thursday, July 11, 2002, formerly of Thatcher and Safford, with Bishop George Harris officiating. The family prayer was given by Mitchell D. Wolfley., invocation by Houston Cluff, life story by Terry Joe Bingham, and benediction by Ray Luster. Casketbearers were J.T. Lackner, Chris Wolfley, Kenny Wolfley, Devin Kight, Mitch Wolfley and Johnny Duncan. Honorary bearers were David DeSpain, Lonnie Estes, Chuck Duncan, Eddie Montierty, Wan Wolfley, Mike Duncan, Ted Branch and Kevin Kight. She was laid to rest in the Safford Cemetery.

Funeral ceremonies for Flora B. Stroud, 81, of Safford were conducted Saturday, July 27, 2002, at Bunker's Caldwell Chapel by Steve Bryce. Flora died on Wednesday, July 24, 2002. Concluding ceremonies followed in the Ashurst Cemetery.

Rachel's life began on May 11, 1918, in Coleman County, Texas. She died on Tuesday, July 23, 2002. She was the seventh of 10 children born to Joel Louis and Verna Tankersley Sellers, and grew feeling especially blessed to be part of a family endowed with an abundance of love.

Frances M. Cruz, 37, of Morenci passed away July 10, 2002, in Phoenix. A Mass of Christian Burial for Frances was celebrated Monday, July 15, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morenci by Reverend Raul H. Rosales. Burial followed at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Roy E. Coombs passed away on July 18, 2002 in Mesa. Roy was born in Mesa on Oct. 28 1932 to Nathan and Eva Coombs and was the youngest of nine children. He lived in Mesa and Snowflake until 1945 at which time the family moved to Central where he attended Thatcher High School.

Linda Acuna Roybal, 88, passed away October 8, 2002, in Safford. Linda was born March 16, 1914, in San Gabriel, Calif., to Froilan and Santos Acuna. Linda devoted her life to her husband, daughters and grandchildren.

Edward Frederick Ford
Edward Frederick Ford was born Dec. 4, 1937, in Bronx, N.Y. There he lived and was raised by his father and grandparents until the age of 10. Ed and his father then lived in Ajo with his aunt, Madge Snyder. After schooling, he worked as a crusher operator for Phelps Dodge for 22 years. He died Tuesday, October 08, 2002.
