He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Russellene; his son, Herman (Anita) Garica; daughters Charlotte (Henry) Andaloza, Sylvia (Donte) Molinaro, Melinda New, and Sheila (Johnny) Robertson; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Michael H. (Coach) Loughran, 77, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2009. He was born to Mary and Edward Loughran in Miami on April 13, 1932.
Mike joins his three other brothers, John, Patrick and Edward; and his sister, Sheila, who are with the Lord. He’s survived by his brother Kevin; his daughter Michele Jensen; his son Michael Loughran.

Paul Ray Mobley, 82, of Globe, passed away on July 16, 2009. He was born on Jan. 24, 1927 in Pilot Point, Texas, the son of Jesse William Mobley and Agnes Beulah Teague.
He was raised in Spur, Texas, by his grandfather, Edward Mobley, and lived over 30 years in Burns Or.
Dorothy Louise Shultz Mott, 91
Dorothy Louise Shultz Mott, 91, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. She was born on Jan. 16, 1918 in St. Marys, W.V., the eldest daughter of William Henry and Millie Ivas Little Shultz.
She worked as a store manager for the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gerald K. Mott.

Wendel Ray Curran, 64, of Roosevelt, died on June 28, 2009 at his residence.
He was born on May 27, 1945 in San Bernardino, Calif. He previously lived in Missouri and lived in Arizona for six months. He was employed as a production supervisor by an automotive company.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin Curran and Bryan Curran.
James Paul Hoffman, 73
James Paul Hoffman died on July 16, 2009 at Mountain Vista Hospital in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 73.
He was the youngest of five children born to George and Sadie Hoffman. Jim grew up in Johnstown, Penn. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1963 and was stationed in Korea and Cape Canaveral, Fla.

Doris Mozel Guynes, 89, longtime Globe resident, passed away on Sept. 11, 2009, in Mesa, Ariz. She was born on Dec.30, 1919, she spent 78 years of her life in Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Guynes; and son-in-law, Harry Hughes. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Hughes and Lee Lois Spears (Duane); six grandchildren.

Peter Peterson, 62, passed away on Sept. 24 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughter, Penny; two sisters and one brother.
He had worked as an industrial refrigeration specialist at the Flamingo Hotel and Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, N.V., ASARCO and Kennecott Mining Company.

He was a heavy equipment operator and was employed by the Asarco mine.

Connie B. Perez, 85, of Tucson, Ariz., born in Miami, Ariz., passed away Sept. 17, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquin G. Perez; parents, Augustina G. and Reyes Barajas; sister, Stella Gonzalez; brothers, Raymond, Jesus “Chuy,” Ted, and Atanacio “Porky” Barajas.

He was born on Feb. 8, 1939 in Alton, Ill., the son of Henry and Ruth Boker.
He previously lived in Illinois and lived in Arizona for 64 years. He was an appraiser.

Stephen G. “Steve” Campos, 52 of Miami, Ariz., passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in Mesa, Ariz. Steve was born in Globe on Oct. 11, 1956, the son of Jose Campos and Alicia Garcia Campos.
Steve grew up in the Globe-Miami area, where he later worked in the mines for 32 years. Steve met his wife, Cindy, in July 1974.

Mr. Jess Smith, Sr., 78, of Peridot, Ariz., passed away on Sept. 21, 2009 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz. He was born on Dec. 22, 1930 in Miami, Ariz., the son of John and Nancy Smith. He lived in Arizona his entire life and was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine.

Norma “Jean” Lorine Hicks, 81, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on September 23, 2009. She was born to Della White and Audrey Powell on Aug. 19, 1928 in Glenbar, Ariz.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping, sewing, going to the casino, and being with family and friends.

Mrs. Rachel Veronica Premeau, 66, of Globe, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Copper Mountain Inn Nursing Home in Globe. She was born on Nov. 2, 1942 in Globe, the daughter of Cruz and Erlinda De La Torre.
She worked as a paralegal for Don Premeau's Attorney's Office. She was also an Hispanic adviser for APS.

Jerome Dominic Boni, 38, of Peridot, Ariz. passed away on Sept. 16, 2009 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born on April 17, 1971 in San Carlos, Ariz., the son of Wilson and Marion Boni of Peridot, Ariz.
He lived in Arizona his entire life and was a maintenance technician.

Funeral services for Edward Anderson Sr., 77, of Bylas, were held September 20, 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. He entered eternal life on September 13, 2009 in Apache Junction.
Pastor Matthew Langebartels officiated. Colleen Nosie and Margaret Dona gave the life and memory stories. Military honors were accorded by San Carlos Veterans Association; interment was at Blackpoint Cemetery
in Bylas, AZ.

Jackie “Jack” Wallace Allen, 82, of Globe, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Banner Gardens Hospice House in Mesa, Ariz. He was born in Smithburg, W.V. on July 3, 1927, the son of Maxine Mae (Pratt) and Everett Dale Allen. He moved to Globe-Miami, Ariz. in 1957 and later retired from Inspiration Copper Company in Miami, Ariz.

Mr. Donald Edward Wiens, 76, of Globe, Ariz. passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 at his residence in Globe.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1932 in Arapahoe, Colo., the son of Daniel and Katherine Wiens.
He retired from Whirpool Corp. as a sales representative and moved to Arizona from Denver three years ago.

Stephen G. “Steve” Campos, 52, of Miami, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in Mesa, Ariz. Steve was born in Globe on Sept. 11, 1956, the son of Jose Campos and Alicia Garcia Campos.
Steve grew up in the Globe-Miami area, where he later worked in the mines for 32 years.

Betty Louise (Petty) Anderson, 61, of Globe, Ariz. went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sept. 15, 2009, surrounded by friends and family. She was born on May 13, 1948, in Miami, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents Garland and Vernie Marie (White) Petty; and brother, Jim Garland (Bear) Petty.
Augustine “Gutie” Gonzales, 77
Augustine "Gutie" Gonzales, 77, was called home on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009. A life-long resident of the Globe-Miami area, "Gutie" was employed at the smelter of Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company for 30-plus years, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Gutie attended Miami High School, where he was an outstanding athlete in football and baseball.
Mario J. Gutierrez, 57
Mario J. Gutierrez, 57, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Oct. 3, 2009.
He was born on May 17, 1952, in Globe, Ariz., the son of Irene Reynoso Gutierrez and the late J.C. Gutierrez.
He was the eldest of four siblings. He served in the U.S. Army from 1973-75. He returned to Globe and worked at the mines.

Robert Eugene Evans, 81, of Globe, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at Mountain Vista Medical Center.
He was born in Phoenix, Ariz. on June 21, 1928, the son of Norris and Alma Evans. He was a retired electrician with IBEW.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
Michael Timothy Maryott
Michael Timothy Maryott, fiercely loved husband, father and friend, died of heart failure on Oct. 7, 2009.
He was born in 1936 in Winslow, Ariz. to Harold and Doris Maryott.
He graduated from Miami High School in 1954 and was a founding member of A.S.S.S.S.S. A passionate seeker of knowledge, he spent a rich life pursuing it.
