RAVENDEN -- Lois Mae Kemp, 88, of Ravenden died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 at White River Medical Center at Batesville.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Kemp of Batesville; one daughter, Dr. Paula Kemp of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Laura Margaret Bennett of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Maurice Kemp; one son, Gary Kemp; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens at Pocahontas.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
LeGrand
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Willow Irene LeGrand, 88, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 at Cedar Gate Nursing Home at Poplar Bluff.
Born at Conway, she worked for Busman Fuse Co. at St. Louis and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include one son, Jerry LeGrand of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Donna Fay Hert of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Garland Gore of Malvern; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar E. LeGrand; one son, Terry LeGrand; and her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector, with Kenny Burns officiating.
Pallbearers will be Anthony LeGrand, Jeffery LeGrand, Douglas LeGrand, Kenneth Hicks, Jerry Nelson and Billy Baker.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Logan
CHEROKEE VILLAGE -- A. Geraldine Wadlington Logan, 73, of Cherokee Village died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004 at White River Medical Center at Batesville.
Born at Trumann, she lived in Cherokee Village for the past seven years and was formerly of Brookland. She was a retired employee of the Hunter Fan Co. at Memphis and was of the Assembly of God belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Patsy Ann Wadlington Prescott of Cherokee Village; one son, Raymond LeRoy Wadlington of Oak Harbor, Wash.; four sisters, Novella Tharp of Jonesboro, Arzella Sweat and Yvonne Meisters, both of Cherokee Village, and Delsie Hathcoat of Bono; three half sisters, Hazel Taylor and Ellie Duggan, both of Memphis, and Prudy Theilking of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two brothers, Delbert DePriest of Moweaqua, Ill., and Austin DePriest of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Logan; one daughter, Dora Mae Wadlington; two sons, Gerald Ray Wadlington and Jimmy Dale Wadlington; her parents, Elisha Austin "E.A." and Winnie Mae Russaw DePriest; and two half sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home at Trumann, with the Rev. Jim Pagan officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery
at Jonesboro.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Massengill
HARRISBURG -- Dean Burke Massengill, 80, of Harrisburg died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004 in Harrisburg.
Born in Harrisburg, he was a retired farmer and rancher and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Gaylon Massengill, Barry Massengill and Randy Massengill, all of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Holly Briley, Sara Massengill, Luke Massengill and Michele Massengill; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.E. and Lillian Burke Massengill, two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Riley, Frankie Lindsey, Steve Eastin, Bryan Clampit, Bill Mink, Wayne Loggins, Tim Laws, Larry Bright, Keving McWayne and Terry Reddmann.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.

CHEROKEE VILLAGE -- Memorial services for Frances E. Pettengell, 83, of Cherokee Village, who died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004 at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, will be announced by Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel of Highland.
Born in Blue Earth, Minn., she moved to Cherokee Village 10 years ago from Jonesboro. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick A. Pettengell of North Little Rock and Michael J. Pettengell of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Ann Kelling of Selmer, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Pettengell Sr.; one son, Robert E. Pettengell Jr.; her parents; and one brother.
Reed
Funeral services for Dorothy Louise Boyd Reed, 66, of Jonesboro, who died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Gregg Funeral Home.
The Rev. Danny Jerome Pankey will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Marty Boyd, Brad Higgins, Carl Chambers, James Nelson, Billy Pankey and Gene Baker.
Honorary pallbearers will include Max Render, Chad Render, Larry Gibson and Hugh Heath.
Born in Alicia, she had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Reed of Jonesboro and Jeff Reed of Big Flat; three daughters, Vickie Mink of Bay, Tracy Benson of Trumann and Stacy Reed Haas of Jonesboro; two sisters, Ruby Schochler of Jonesboro and Frances Adelizzi of Antioch, Ill.; two brothers, L.J. Boyd of Jonesboro and Billy Boyd of Huntsville; eight grandchildren, Brandon Mink, Tara Reed, Kaelynn Benson, Meghon Mink, Jared Haas, Bridger Benson, Jordan Reed and Jenna Haas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Reed; her parents, Luther and Mable Capps Boyd; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Runyan
SWIFTON -- Roy L. Runyan Sr., 93, of Swifton died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004 at his residence.
Born at Newport, he was a member of the Crowley's Ridge Development Council, Cooperative Extension Service Advisory Committee, Farmers Home Administration Committee, the Tax Equalization Committee and was a past president of the Farm Bureau board of directors.
He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He served as a deacon for Swifton Baptist Church, a founding member of Newport Gideon Camp and a strong supporter of Black River Baptist Association and Cedar Glade Camp.
Survivors include one son, Roy L. Runyan Jr.; one brother, George W. Runyan of California; and three granddaughters, Tiffany Garrison of Durham, N.C., Brooke Craine of Jonesboro and Bethany Capps of Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by two infant children; his wife, Myrl Alvis Runyan; his parents, Will and Mattie Webb Runyan; three brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Swifton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clint Ritchie and Dr. Bruce Tippitt officiating. Burial will be in Cheshier Cemetery
under the direction of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Danny Draper, Mike Schmidt, James Morgan, Phillip Alvis, Bobby Runyan and Barry Gilliam.

Spurlock
WALNUT RIDGE -- Warren E. Spurlock, 69, of Walnut Ridge died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004 in Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born in Walnut Ridge, he had lived in Rockford, Ill., for 26 years and was retired from maintenance at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. A served in the Air Force and was a member of the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Spurlock of the home; one daughter, Kathi Bonner of Walnut Ridge; two sons, Darrell Spurlock of Spokane, Wash., and Clayton Spurlock of Rockford; one brother, C. W. Spurlock of Armorel; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Cason, and his parents, Richard and Alice Spurlock.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, with Derek Collins and Tom Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Harold White, Jeremey Cason, Tristan Slusser, Nathan Spurlock, Travis Bonner and Trent Bonner.
Ira Graham will be an honorary pallbearer.
