Annie Bell Tucker

Annie Bell Tucker, 67, of Jacksonville, died June 14, 2006. She was a member of McArthur Assembly of God.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth A. Tucker, Jr., of Cabot, Gleason Tucker of Lonoke, and Roxie Wright of Jacksonville; sisters, Mary Hardcastle of Jacksonville, Addie Grasby of North Little Rock and Barbara Crawford of Sacramento, Calif.; brother, the Rev. Milburn “Pint” Hill of Cabot; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 18, at Moore’s Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville, with the Rev. John McKay officiating. Interment followed at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

Luke McDuffee

Luke McDuffee, 88, of Cave City, died June 14, 2006.

Services were held June 16 at the Eastside Southern Baptist Church at Cave City.

Graveside services were held at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot, with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Dorothy M. Wallis

Dorothy Marie Wallis, 52, of Lonoke, died June 16, 2006.

She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Wallis of Lonoke; daughters, Robin Glover of Alma, Angela Bailey and Sarah Gates, both of Lonoke; stepson, Anthony Wallis of Calico Rock; 12 grandchildren; five sisters; and six brothers.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 21, at 11 a.m. at Roller Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock, with interment at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.

Allie B. Fugatt

Allie Bell (Estes) Fugatt, 84, of Cabot, died June 18, 2006. She was retired from Pulaski County Special School District in food service and was of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Fugatt of Phoenix, Ariz., Ricky Fugatt of North Little Rock, Jeff Junior Fugatt of Lonoke, Gene Fugatt of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Dean Fugatt of Mountain Home; daughters Kay Collins and Connie Adams, both of Jacksonville, Kathy Arnold of Augusta, Ga., Stella Russell of Lonoke, Rosalee Vaughn, of Michigan, and Dorothy Smith of Missouri; sister Mildred Hayes of Jacksonville; 32 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Kenneth Becker

Kenneth “Ken” Lasswell Becker, 55, of Cabot, died June 14, 2006. He was a funeral director/embalmer and a member of American Legion Post #41 and Twin City Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Becker; son, Raymond Becker; and daughter, Pam Elrod all of Cabot; and three grandchildren.

A private funeral service was held and interment was in Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes. Association.

Arrangements were by Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena.

Pat Johnson

Pat Johnson, 60, of Sherwood, died June 18, 2006.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd Johnson; brother, Hubert Evans of Lonoke; and sisters, Mildred Berry of Sherwood, Kaye Donham of Benton and Faye Hubbard of Sherwood.

Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 515 Sherwood Ave. in Sherwood, with burial in Old Austin Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 211 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72205, 501-224-5864; or Victory Missionary Baptist Church, 515 Sherwood Ave., Sherwood, Ark. 72120.

Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.

Jewell G. Larson

Jewell Gladys Larson, 86, of Lonoke, died June 18, 2006. She was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, a retired secretary and a graduate of Lonoke High School and Draughon’s School of Business.

She is survived by her son, James P. Larson; sister Minnie Moon of North Little Rock; two grandsons and two step-grandsons.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 22, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock, and will be officiated by Pastor Craig Loibner. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Lonoke.

The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.

Louise C. Hazeslip

Louise Castile Hazeslip, 61, of Cabot died Friday, June16.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Felix Hazeslip; infant children Evon and Leon, parents, two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by three and four sisters.

Funeral services were Wednesday, June 21, with burial in Mt. Springs Cemetery.

Kenneth V. Corbin

Kenneth V. Corbin, 86, of North Little Rock died June 16, 2006. He was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church and ABC Sunday School Class. He retired from Carovelle Boat Company and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Yvonne Corbin of North Little Rock; daughters, Phyllis McBride of Fairbanks, AK, Karen Brown of Cabot; sister, Isbell Speer of Lonoke; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, 109 Tanglewood Drive, North Little Rock, Ark., 72118 and Arkansas Hospice, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, Ark., 72114.
Funeral services were June 20 at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Iva Dean Pauschert

Iva Dean Pauschert, 76, of Searcy, June 16, 2006. She was a member of the Hickory Ridge Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Lee Pauschert of Winnsboro, Texas; brother, John Corder of Beebe; sisters, Rachel Gunn of Ward, Ann Wilson of Greers Ferry, and Lois Havard of Sherwood; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were held June 19 at Carlisle Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Shirley T. Howard

Shirley Temple Combs Cantrell Howard, 69, of Thayer, Mo., and formerly of Cabot died Monday, June 19.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee Cantrell, parents, stepfather and a sister.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann Cole of Cabot, Roger Dale Cantrell and wife Sandra of Thayer, Mo., Pamela Sue Cantrell Conard of Cabot, and Shannon Renee Reeves and husband Steve of Mountain Home; four sisters, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 22, at the Carter Funeral Home in Thayer with the Rev. David Honeycutt officiating. Burial was at Thayer Cemetery.

Melva E. BeCraft

Melva E. BeCraft, 58, passed peacefully with all her family around her on Wednesday, July 26, 2006. She fought a very long, hard and courageous battle. She was a loving wife, caring mother and an astounding nana. She was a member of Highway 89 Community Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Garnett “Lee” BeCraft; a son and his wife, Phillip and Laura Morris; two grandsons, Brandon and Aaron; eight sisters, Francis Mitchell, Barbara and Ralph Anderson, Kaye and Earl Willey, Diane and Jerry Turner, Linda Clements, Tammy Mandoza, Kathy Faith, and Anna Martin; two brothers, Charles and Billie Peach and Paul Scott; closest friends Jean Turner and Norman Boggs; and 27 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lonoke.
