Elizabeth M. Corder
Elizabeth Maureen “Tidgy” Corder, 90, of Helena, died March 12, 2006.
She is survived by her son, James S. “Bo” Corder of West Helena; sister, Ramona Stallings Rose of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; stepsisters, Geraldine Mercer of Tampa, FL, and Doris Linke of Little Rock.
She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Helena.
Graveside services will be Wed., March 15, at 10 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery
in Helena. Pastors Gary Henson of First Baptist Church and Al Majors will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 600 Franklin St., Helena, Ark. 72342. Services directed by Roller-Citizens.
Lallie Cox
Lallie Cox age 103, died March 13, 2006 at Southridge Nursing Home in Heber Springs. She was a home maker. She was a member of first Assembly of God Church of Pangburn.
She is survived by four sons, Vernon Cox of Heber Springs, Charles Cox of Searcy, Carl Cox of New York and Ray Cox of Japan; two daughters, Carolyn Boruff and Delorise Milton of Kokomo, Ind.; 27 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 24 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke with Rev. Johnny Campbell and Rev. Charles Taylor officiating; burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lonoke. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
John Milton Corbitt
John Milton Corbitt, 59, of Lake Village, died March 2, 2006.
Cremation was under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Memorial services were Thurs., March 9, at Concord Cemetery
in Lonoke.
Elfreda Baker
Elfreda Baker, 74, of Cabot, died Sunday, March 19, 2006. Mrs. Baker was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 48 years who specialized in elder care.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Baker of the home, one son Curtis Baker of Ward, one daughter, Tamela Robinson-Williams of Cabot. Also surviving are two sisters, Rosalie Wetherill of Overland Park, Kan. and Guinda Reeves of Phoenix, Ariz. as well as two grandchildren and one foster grandchild.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Cabot Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association; 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
Wendy Linn Spencer
Wendy Linn Davis Spencer of Cabot was born on May 25, 1975. Baptized July 29, 1985 in Strawberry River at Poughkeepsie, and went to meet Jesus and her baby Shae on March 20, 2006.
Wendy was preceded in death by her daughter Shae and her grandparents Radie and Irene King and special aunt Rhonda Glover.
She is survived by her husband Shane Spencer and son Tyler of the home; parents, James C. and Barbara Davis of Jacksonville; sisters and family, Gwen, Melvin, Cody, and Ali Styers of Jacksonville; Leah, Michael Moyer, Abby and Zachary Davis of Cabot and twin brother and family Michael & Betty Davis, Maghan and Madison of Conway; grandparents, Gloria and Duaine Davis of Smithville; special family, Jack and Judy Roberson; Ed, Kristy, Jessica, Samantha & Jill Terry; Ryan Faulk; Angela, Amber, Felicia & Molly Moore; Larry and Debby Spencer and many friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke, 6-8 p.m. Wednesday March 22. Funeral Services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church on Hwy 236 East, Thursday, March 23 at 10 a.m., officiated by her uncle Tim Davis. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to the Arkansas School for the Deaf Foundation and Paragould Childrens Home.
Cora Mae Coffelt
Cora Mae Grandgeorge Coffelt, age 90, died March 21, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Coffelt.
Survivors include her children, Rosa Mae Evans and husband Carroll of Stuttgart; Delores Robinson of Arlington, Texas, Homer Louis Coffelt of Carlisle and Elmer Henry Coffelt of Hazen; four grandchildren, Mike Robinson, Pam Maddox, Greg Robinson and Caroline Raines; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Carlisle with interment in Hamilton Cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Visitation, one hour prior to service at the church.

Darcus Prislovsky
Darcus Britt Prislovsky, 75, died March 10, 2006. She was a retired homemaker and attended St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Cinnamon Roll Committee.
Survivors are her sons, Frank and Gene Prislovsky, both of Stuttgart; daughters, Linda Calvert of Carlisle, Kathy Edwards of Dumas and Karen Prislovsky of Little Rock; brother, F.H. Britt of Brookhaven, MS; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services were held March 14 at Lone Tree Cemetery
with a service of celebration following at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Memorials may be sent to the Cinnamon Roll Committee, c/o St. John’s Lutheran Church, or to the donor’s choice. Arrangements by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
James M. Stafford
James Marvin Stafford, 74, of Jacksonville, died March 13, 2006. He was baptized in the Church of Christ, retired from the United States Navy, and was on the Board of Directors of the Gravel Ridge Fire Department.
He is survived by his son, James Stafford of North Little Rock; daughters, Karan Becker and Dorothy Collins both of Jacksonville; brothers, Delbert, Charles, Delma Wayne, and Jasper Dale Stafford; sister, Myrtle Darlene Dodrill; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Fri., March 17, at Mayflower Cemetery
with Bro. Robert Hunt officiating. Huson Funeral Home was in charge.

Jeanette L. Burnett
Jeanette Lee (Tuck) Burnett, 81, of North Little Rock, died March 13, 2006. She was a retired bookkeeper for Rand’s Wholesale Food, Inc., North Little Rock District, and Burnett Tile Co. She was a member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tom Burnett; sons, Daryl, Dan and Dale Burnett all of North Little Rock; twin sister, Jean Simpson of Camden; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held March 17 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Sylvania Cemetery
in Cabot. Arrangements were by the North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Gerald Schumann
Gerald Maynard Schumann, M.D., 97, of Carlisle, died March 15, 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Veda; daughters, Marjorie Dockins, Brenda Buffalo, and Tammy Whiteside; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 17 at the First Baptist Church in Des Arc with burial in Carlisle Cemetery

Sylvia M. Michael
Sylvia Maude Raney Michael, 69, of El Dorado, died March 17, 2006. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are her sons, Felix E. Michael of Mesquite, TX, Calvin G. Michael of El Dorado; daughter, Felicia D. Michael Garrett of Coushatta, LA; seven grandchildren; one great-grand-child; brothers, Herschel Dean Raney, Sr., of Sherwood; Carl Lloyd Raney, Sr., of El Dorado; sister, Carolyn Sue “SueSue” Raney Honey of Cabot.
Funeral services were March 19 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial following at Orion Cemetery
in Sheridan.
Lester T. Palmer
Lester Thomas Palmer, 67, of Lonoke, died March 17, 2006. He was a member of Browns-ville Baptist Church; retired from GTE in 1990 and was recently an associate at Lonoke County Co-op.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jean Palmer; children, Joe, Jim and Jeremy Palmer, all of Illinois and Janet Brown of Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Duncan, Dora Jean Donath and Ina Smith of Illinois; brother, George Palmer of Florida; stepchildren, Chris Jones of Yellville and Jennifer Shepherd of Jacksonville.
Services were held March 20 at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke with interment in Brownsville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Carle Hospice, 206 A West Anthony Dr., Champaign, Ill., 61822.

Vav Ann Aten, age 43, of Lonoke, died March 12, 2006.
Survived by her husband, Jack Aten Jr. and two children Kailee and Autumn Partington, all of the home; two brothers, Riley Partington and Douglas Baxter; mother and father-in-law Jack and Joetta Aten of Cabot.
Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service.

Cynthia Kay Bartlett, 48, of North Little Rock, died March 19, 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Bartlett of North Little Rock; daughters, Wendy Lyons of Ward, and Kerri Hammer of Mayflower; parents, Harold and Marilyn Kelley of Thornton, CO; sister, Kim Dabney of Pueblo, CO; and three grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thurs., March 23, at Huson Funeral Home, Chapel, 7700 Hwy. 107 in Sherwood, with interment in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wed., March 22, at the funeral home.
