Doris Colleene Park
Doris Colleene Buck Park, 81, of DeValls Bluff, died Jan. 29, 2006. She was a lifelong resident of DeValls Bluff, a member of the First Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Ivie (Butch) Park of DeValls Bluff; daughter; Linda Schwede of Biscoe; two granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and brothers, J.C. Buck and W.T. Buck of DeValls Bluff, and Malcomb Buck of Lonoke.
Funeral services were held Jan. 31 at the First Baptist Church of DeValls Bluff, with burial in the Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
Gladys M. Daniels
Gladys Marie Smith Daniels, 77, of Carlisle, died Jan. 29, 2006.
She is survived by her son, Joe Dan Daniels; daughter, Gwen Daniels Grisson; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wed., Feb. 1, at the Hamilton Baptist Church with burial in the Hamilton Cemetery. Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen is in charge of arrangements.
Roscoe D. Hall, Jr.
Roscoe Delton “RD” Hall, Jr., 60, of North Little Rock, died Jan. 29, 2006.
He was born in Jacksonville, and was the owner/operator of RD’s Wrecker Service for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hall of North Little Rock; daughters, Tanya Oglesby of Texas and Shelly Weaver of Jacksonville; two grandchildren; and sister, Martha Lou Hull.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wed., Feb. 1, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery
in Cabot.
Laura Sue Mask
Laura Sue Mask of Carlisle, (Crossroads community), died Jan. 26, 2006.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond E. “Hoot” Mask.
She was the oldest member of Hebron Methodist Church where she served as church secretary and treasurer for many years, and as a Sunday school teacher.
Visitation was Saturday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service was Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Hebron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hebron Cemetery

Annie Cassini King
Annie Cassini King, of Cabot, born July 14, 1937 died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ira and Frances Buckner; and six brothers.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Chester King; four sons: Chester and wife Judy King of Jacksonville, Stephen and wife Kelly King of Hot Springs, Timmy and wife Miki King of Hot Springs, Phillip and wife Pattie King of Hot Springs; daughter, Melba Roe of Cabot; foster daughter, Ginger Palmer of Missouri; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, J.C. Buckner of Slidell, LA; two sisters, Laura Alexander and Bettye Thomson both of Cabot; countless nephews, nieces and extended family members.
Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home in Cabot, Arkansas.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Dennis Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Calvin Finchum
Calvin Finchum, 69, of Cabot, formerly of Russellville, died Thursday, January 26, 2006, at his home after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. A son of the late Charles Calvin Finchum, he was born Feb. 11, 1936 in Russell-ville. He was a Baptist, and worked as a construction foreman for City Corporation. After retirement he spent time gardening and repairing small engines for his family, friends and neighbors. As much as he enjoyed helping others, he loved spending time with and taking care of his family the most.
He was also preceded in death by a brother. Survivors include his wife of fifty-two years, Jimmie Finchum; two daughters and sons-in-law: Janice and Paul Conway of Cabot; and Deanna and Garland Brown of London; his mother, Julia Evelyn Finchum of Dardanelle; three grandchildren and a grandson-in-law: Kerri and Robert Seigrist, Beth Conway and Christopher Brown, all of Cabot; and four sisters.
The family received friends from 2 to 4 P.M., on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Shinn Funeral Service. Pastor Hank Weaver concluded the visitation with a time of remembrance and prayer.

Ryan H. Duncan
Ryan Howard Duncan, 29, of Cabot passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2006. He was born July 1, 1976 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Kent and Bonnie Best Duncan. Ryan was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Ryan is survived by his parents of Austin, Arkansas and two sisters; Angela Paige Lantz and her husband Ronnie of St. Louis, Missouri and Stacy Duncan of Lonoke, Arkansas. He is also survived by three nieces; Ashley Stricklin, Sydney Stricklin and Hannah Lantz and one nephew, Aaron Stricklin.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cabot Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with Brothers Mitch Tapson and Ronnie Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Robert E. Harkey
Robert Ervin Harkey, 68, of Cabot passed away on Feb. 13, 2006. He was retired from the United States Air Force and was a veteran of both Vietnam and Korean Wars. Robert is survived by his wife, Ann Harkey; five sons, Cecil (Becky) Harkey of Austin, Texas; Merlin Harkey of Mocksville, North Carolina; Roger (Abby) Barker of Batesville; David Barker of Cabot; Tony (Lisa) Barker of Texarkana; one daughter, Denise (Pat) Brandt of Amarillo, Texas; four brothers, Bill Harkey, Frank Harkey, Neddie Harkey and Tony Harkey all of North Carolina; four sisters, Brenda Peffley, Bonnie Williams, Ruby Williams and Joanne Smith all of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thurs., Feb. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Boyds Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, with interment in Lonoke Cemetery.
Virginia Douglass
Virginia “Polly” Douglass, 81, of Cabot, died Feb. 6, 2006.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville and a member of the Jacksonville Chapter 520, Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years, long-term memberships in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the Arkansas Retired military Association Auxiliary and the Rebsamen Women’s Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Judge Thomas N. Douglass Jr. of La Quinta, CA; sister, Katie M. Fick of Jacksonville; five granddaughters; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Fri., Feb. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville with Pastor Carol Goddard officiating followed by interment in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
Visitation was held prior to the services Friday from noon until 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

Mary J. Carmical
Mary J. Carmical, 67, of Cabot, died Feb. 8, 2006.
She was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Cabot.
She is survived by her children, Floyd J. Carmical, Jr., Joe F. Carmical, Sr., and Clifton W. Carmical, all of Cabot, Tommy L. Carmical of Vilonia, George E. Carmical of Cave City, and Beth G. Hodges of Gun Barrel City, TX; three sisters; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at Hilltop Baptist Church in Cabot.
Burial followed at Harmony Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
Jonnie Washington
Jonnie Holloway Washington, 65, of Lonoke, died Feb. 7, 2006.
Survivors include her mother, Willie Mae Cole Holloway; daughter, Valena Washington both of Lonoke; brother, Walter Lee Holloway; sisters, Willie Jean Moragne and Catherine Peyton both of Lonoke; and three great-great-grandchildren

Services were entrusted to Premier Funeral Home in Little Rock.
Roberta P. Sullivan
Roberta “Pinki” Phegley Sullivan, 59, of Cabot, died Feb. 8, 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Leland Sullivan; son, Jeremy Sullivan of the home; stepson, William Sullivan of Lonoke; sisters, Jackie Wooldridge of Joplin, MO, and Jerri Fletcher of Beebe; and one grandson.
Memorial Services were held Feb. 11 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.
