L. Waldron Haggard
L. Waldron Haggard, age 82, formerly of Lonoke, died January 26, 2006 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mr. Haggard was a retired farmer and a member of 12th Street Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Lee Staton Haggard; one daughter Janie Burnett and husband Randy of Portage, Michigan; grandchildren, Delana Banasiak and husband Cliff of Grand Haven, Michigan and Joshua and Carrie Burnett of Portage, Michigan; sisters, Veleta McDonald of Lonoke, Viva Nell Hoffman of White Hall and Nina Brantley and husband Thomas of Lonoke. He was preceded in death by a son Darrell Haggard.
Funeral Services were 11:00 a.m. Monday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke with Interment in Union Valley Cemetery
with Rev. Randy Burnett of Michigan and Rev. Tommy Walls of Conway officiating.
The family received friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Jimmy C. Crawford
Jimmy Carl Crawford, 67 of Humnoke died Jan. 27, 2006. He worked in construction as a welder, and farmed.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Elois Moody Crawford; his son, Jimmy Crawford and daughter Theresa Block all of Benton; two brothers, Bobby Crawford of Humnoke and Kim Crawford of Little Rock; seven sisters, Margaret Fisher of Lake Village, Doris Carter of Lonoke, Kaye Rice of Irvin, Texas, Patsy Wilson and Deborah White both of Little Rock, Phyllis Whilder of Benton, and Sue Green of Maumelle.
Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 29 at Humnoke Pentecostal Church of God, with interment in Hamilton Cemetery
by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.
Krystal N. Lackie
Krystal Nichole Lackie, 18, of Cabot, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 in Cabot. She was born in Jacksonville.
Krystal is survived by her parents, James Lackie of Cabot and Ruby Lackie of Jacksonville; grandmother, Ruby Maples of Cabot; brothers, Shawn Lackie of Cabot, Richard Lackie of Pine Bluff, and Gary Lackie of Beebe; sisters, Tracy Pendergrass of Cabot, Angela Farmer of North Carolina and Sonja Beck of Star City.
Funeral services were Jan. 30, at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Services will be officiated by Rev. Mark Eisnhold.
Evalyn A. Tomlinson
Evalyn Agnes Tomlinson, 90, of Lander, WY, died Jan. 1, 2006. She graduated from Lonoke High School.
She is survived by her daughter Vena Boyd of Labelle, FL; son, William “Bill” Oviatt of Lander, WY; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was cremated and services were planned in Arkansas for a future date.
Doyne T. Branch
Doyne T. Branch, 68, of Cabot, died Jan. 19, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Branch; sons, Curtis of Hermitage, and David and John Branch, both of Sherwood; twin brother, Owen Branch of Greenbrier; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He served in the United States Navy and was a graduate of Harding University in Searcy. He was a Special Agent with the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and spent the last seven years of his career in New Orleans, LA. After retirement, he started his own business, Branch Investigative Services, in Arkansas.
A memorial service was Sat., Jan. 28, at Cabot Funeral Home with Richard Kirkland of the Church of Christ in Russellville officiating.
Thomas W. Fausz
Thomas William Fausz, 46, of Lonoke, died Jan. 18, 2006.
Funeral services were Thurs., Jan. 26, at Moore’s Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville.
Thearl S. Rushin
Thearl Stanley Rushin, 82, of Little Rock, died Jan. 24, 2006. He was a retired meat processor and a member of Heritage Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Oceline Rushin of Little Rock; son, Keith Rushin of Ward; and daughter, Shelia Hill of Little Rock.
Funeral services were held Jan. 28 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth in Little Rock. Burial followed at Romance Cemetery.
Sherrils E. Everett
Sherrils Edward Everett, age 76, died Jan. 24, 2006.
He is survived by his children, Karen Fields of Vilonia, and Rodney and Michael Everett both of Arizona; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Jan. 27 at Concord Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke.
Sara Ann McNeil
Sara Ann “Sally” Rogers McNeil, 73, of Lonoke, died Jan. 25, 2006.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Sam McNeil of Lonoke; daughters, Sara E. McNeil Zibluk of Jonesboro, and Mary Schoeffler of Atlanta, GA; sons, Bill of Lonoke, and Roger McNeil of Jonesboro; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke on Jan. 27.

Rhena M. Chapman
Rhena M. Chapman, 88 of Searcy, died Jan. 24, 2006. She was a member of West Race Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Bill of Austin, and Larry Chapman of Searcy; sisters, Dorothy Clarke of Hazen, and Gussie Guyer of Marshall; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family has requested memorials be made to the Salvation Army.
Gladys M. Nichols
Gladys Meryl Baker Nichols, 93, of Little Rock, died Jan. 25, 2006.
Survivors include her sons, A.B. Nichols and A.D. Nichols of Little Rock, Herman Nichols of Orlando, FL, Clarence Nichols of Carlisle, and Broderick Nichols of Memphis, TN; daughter, Colone Nichols Young of Little Rock; brother, Chester Baker of Fort Smith; sister, Carrie Butler, of Oakland, CA; 26 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at St. John Baptist Church in Little Rock. Interment was in the Carlisle Cemetery. Arrangements were by Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home in Little Rock.
Karen B. Emerson
Karen B. Emerson, 66, of Cabot, died Jan. 26, 2006. She was an elementary school teacher for 32 years, and a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and the Retired Teacher’s Association.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Angus Emerson; son, Angus L. Emerson IV “Lee” of Sheridan, WY; daughter, Chris Noel House of Cabot; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Shepherd’s Center of Beebe, P.O. Box 247, Beebe, Ark. 72012.
Funeral services were held Jan. 29 at First Baptist Church of Cabot. Burial was at the Old Austin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home.
Vaughn A. Hill
Vaughn A. Hill, 82, of Cabot, died Jan. 26, 2006. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his sons, Gregory Hill of Coweta, OK, and Michael Hill of Clemmon, NC; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Jan. 28 at the Cabot Funeral Home Chapel.

Jade McWilliams, 3-month old infant, of Cabot, died Jan. 26, 2006.
Survivors include her parents, Michael McWilliams and Nancy Jones; sisters, Angelique Jones and Chloe McWilliams; and brother, Michael McWilliams, Jr.; and grandparents, Teresa McDougal of Jacksonville, Charles and Trixie Jones of Sherwood, Bill and Susie DeVries of North Little Rock, and Terry Lee McWilliams of Mount Ida.
Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at House-Gregg Funeral Chapel with burial at Lawrence Memorial Park.
