Amanda B. Earnhart
Amanda B. Earnhart, 93, of Holland died Jan. 9, 2006. She was a homemaker, member of the Home Demonstration Club, and lifetime member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Holland. She was elected Holland Citizen of the Year in 2005.
Survivors include her daughters, Sunny Earnhart of Holland and Marian McGinty of North Little Rock; son, Charles Earnhart of North Little Rock; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at the Oakland United Methodist Church in Holland. Interment followed at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements were Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Memorials may be made to the Oakland United Methodist Church.
Debra Waller
Debra Waller, 49, of Cabot, formerly of Fountain Hill, PA, died Jan. 14, 2006.
She was a member of Beebe Church of Christ and the Ladies Bible Study.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Waller; father, Samuel Chamberlain of Conway; mother, Barbara Chamberlain of Walnut Port, PA; daughters Tara Eastering of Shannon Hills, and Kim Voswinkel of Ward; son, Donnie Waller of Cabot; sisters, Donna Bonney of Bethlehem, PA, and Tina Chamberlain of Walnut Port, PA; brothers, Samuel Chamberlain Jr. of Austin, and Scott Chamberlain of Cabot; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Wed., Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel.

Wilma F. Turney
Wilma Fronia Turney, 93, of Lonoke, died Jan. 10, 2006.
Survivors include her sons, Atlee Turney, Jr., and Roger Turney; daughters, Leopha Ergle, Barbara Hageman, and Pam White; brother, Billy Potter; sister, Marue Tackett; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 14 at the Higden United Pentecostal Church.
Interment was in the Higden-McLehaney Cemetery.
Hazel Hobbs
Hazel Hobbs, 84, of Searcy, died Jan. 10, 2006.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Whaley, Judy Hall of Ward, and Jane Malott of Searcy; sister, Betty Peel, Fort Worth; brother, John Selvidge, Judsonia; seven grandchildren; and nine great-children.
Services were held Jan. 13 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob.
Interment was at Shady Grove.
Roxanne J. Simpson
Roxanne J. Simpson, of Carlisle, died Jan. 8, 2006.
She is survived by her daughters, Brandy Jo Wiggins and Mandy Dale Thomas; son, Jeremy Robert Thomas; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 14 at the Hebron Baptist Church.
Robert E. Burrow
Robert Edison Burrow, 77, of Malvern died, Jan. 10, 2006.
He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Co., a Baptist and an U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his sisters, Jo Capps of Malvern and Shirley Mann of Cabot.
Funeral services were held Jan. 14 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Interment was in the Macedonia Cemetery
near Fouke.
Nona Bell Withers
Nona Bell Withers, 85, a native of Crossett, and resident of Bay Minette, AL, died Jan. 9, 2006.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Patrick of Little Rock; sons, Ron Withers of Cabot, and Don Withers of Bay Minette, AL; brother, J.M. Sawyer of Crossett; sisters, Allie Ree Griffen, Erma Bolin and Ruth Bolin all of Crossett; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett on Jan. 21 at 4 p.m.
The family has requested donations be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Robert Proffit
Robert Proffit, 60, of Cabot, died Jan. 13, 2006.
He is survived by his mother, Daisy Proffit of Sardinia, OH; wife, Sharon Proffit of the home; son Joshua Proffit of San Antonio, TX; brother Ben Proffit of Fairfield, OH; sisters, Linda Dunseith and Vicki Rough of Sardinia, OH; and three grandchildren.
Services were held at the Little Rock Air Force Base Chapel on Jan. 17.
Cabot Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Josephine Plummer
Josephine Plummer, 74, of Cabot, died Jan. 14, 2006.
She is survived by her sons, Darryl Plummer and Stephen Plummer of Willspoint, TX; daughters, Annette Moore of Conway, and Bonnie Allen and Sharon Collins both of Cabot; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 16 at Cabot Funeral Home.
Sarah E. McClellan
Infant Sarah E. McClellan, daughter of Bethany Leigh McClellan of Abbeville, MS and Robert Anthony Huey of Pontotoc, MS, died Jan. 16 at LeBoneur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
Other survivors include her grandparents, John Booth and Amy Tarkington of Abbeville, MS, Greg and Teresa McClellan of Cabot, and Glen and Regina Huey of Pontotoc, MS; great-grandparents, Donald and Lynda McClellan of Perryville; Nannette Ramsy of Vilonia, Bill and Shelly Beard and Jerrell and Lyn Maxwell, all of Cabot; and great-great-grandmother, Nellie Ramsey of Vilonia.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19 at Waller Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford, MS. Burial will be at 12 noon Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, in Cypress Valley Cemetery, Vilonia.

Robert Lee Heard, Jr., 31, died Jan. 7, 2006. Survivors: parents, Robert and Barbara Harris Heard; siblings, Kendrick Heard, Carlos Heard, Aundra Thomas, Donna Briggs, Erica Briggs, Malik Larkin; grandparents, Mary Brown of Scott; grandfather, Clemmie Lee Heard, Little Rock.

Uless ‘Bug’ Harris
Uless “Bug” Harris, age 76, of Austin, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at Cabot Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. He was retired from Westinghouse Lamp Plant after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Rita Webb Harris; two children, Catana Pankey and Tony Harris both of Austin; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Graveside service was Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006, at 16th Section Cemetery.
Pauline C. Moore
Pauline Carrie Woodall Moore, 89, of Carlisle, died Jan. 9, 2006. She was of the Christadelphian faith. She and her late husband owned the White Castle Restaurant on Hwy. 70 in Carlisle.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Ann Moore Travis Moore of Carlisle; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Graveside services were held Jan. 11 at the Carlisle Cemetery. Arrangements were by Westbrook Funeral Home of Hazen.
Lillian E. Hurd
Lillian E. Hurd, 87, of Jacksonville, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006. Mrs. Hurd was a homemaker. She loved to help people and was always the first to lend a hand. She will be remembered for her pound cake, which she loved to bake for others.
Her children survive, Margaret Sanders of Jacksonville, James Hurd of LaPorte, Texas and Fred Hurd of Murfreesboro, as well as a sister, Leona Thibodeaux of Deer Park, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
The funeral service was Monday, Jan. 23, 2006 in the Chapel of Cabot Funeral Home with Bro. William Gold officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
in Houston, Texas.
