Carlis D. Hatfield, Jr.
Carlis D. Hatfield, Jr., of Ward, died Oct. 7, 2005. He was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, and also retired from Remington Arms at the age of 55.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mabel Hatfield; one daughter, Paula Jean Hatfield Peppers; two sons, Carl David Hatfield and Max Hatfield; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean Miller of West Palm Springs, Fla.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe was in charge.
Gwendolyn McCulloch
Gwendolyn J. McCulloch, age 89, of Searcy, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Searcy First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Ken McCulloch of Little Rock; two daughters, Sue McCulloch of Mountain Home and Ann Graham of LaGrange, Ga.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Maycel Wilson of Lonoke and Geneva Crump of Ward.
Visitation was Saturday, Oct. 8, at Searcy First Baptist Church. The funeral followed at the church, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Rosemma Hedrick
Rosemma Morris Hedrick, 84, of Carlisle died Oct. 8, 2005. She was the widow of Dean Hedrick and a member of Palm Street Church of Christ, Lonoke. Survivors include one son, Ray of White Bluff, Tenn.; her daughter, Mary Dulaney of Carlisle; two grandchildren; sisters; Cora Madar, Pine Bluff and Florence Losak, Searcy; and a brother, Ruben Morris of Lonoke.

Albert Willis Rhodes
Albert Willis Rhodes, 79, of Little Rock, died Sept. 30, 2005. He was born in Lonoke County. He was a Deacon.
He is survived by sons, Clyde Reed of North Little Rock, and Quenton Rhodes of Little Rock; daughters, Gwendolyn Value of Little Rock and Valarie Ward of Dallas, TX; sisters, Elizabeth Wordlow of Little Rock, Ruthie Lindsey of Lonoke, and Bernice Harper of England; brothers, Joseph Rhodes of Little Rock, and Roosevelt Rhodes of North Little Rock; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Oct. 8, at the Gaines Street Baptist Church, Little Rock.
Interment followed at Rest In Peace Cemetery
in Hensley.
Frances P. Richmond
Frances Phillips Richmond, 84, of Heber Springs, died Sept. 30, 2005. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Heber Springs where she was a Daughter of the King.
She is survived by her children: Dana Pryor, of Austin, Lisa Dillman, of Romance, and Philip Richmond of Searcy; Mitzi Richmond of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

William P. Warrick
William Patrick Warrick, 61, of Greenwood, died Oct. 4, 2005. He was a director of student services with the Fort Smith Public Schools.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Warrick, Greenwood; sons, William Brant Warrick of Louisville, KY, and Jeffery Trent Warrick of Cabot; brother, Michael Warrick of Indianapolis, IN; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 8 at the Greenwood United Methodist Church.
Bobbie Jean Gabrion
Bobbie Jean Gabrion, 75, of Jacksonville, died Oct. 5, 2005.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Marvin Gabrion; children, Terry Edward Gabrion of Bald Knob, Al Stephen Gabrion of Huntington Beach, CA, Sandra Franck of Cabot, and Randall L. Gabrion of McRae; sister, Billie Delling of Mabelvale; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sat., Oct. 8, at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. O’Neal Hill officiating. Entombment followed at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville.

Robert Michael Johns, 45, of Austin, died Oct. 5, 2005. He was employed by Conestoga Wood Specialties for the past 20 years.

Albert E. “Gene” Trotter, 83, of Cabot, formerly of Hazen, died Oct. 5, 2005. He was a retired U.S. Air Force CMSgt, who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Lewis Trotter of Cabot; daughters, Beverly Jean Straughan of Little Rock, Laura Susan Trotter-Copes of Boerne, TX, and Pamala Faye Trotter of North Little Rock; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

George E. “Coach “ Davis, 60, of Lonoke, died Sept. 30, 2005. He worked for 30 years in the Lonoke Public School District as a teacher, coach, and principal.

Bobby E. Green, 71, of Rison, died Oct. 5, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Claudine Clement Green of Rison; sons, Gaylon Green of Rison, Robert W. “Cotton” Green of Cabot, and Jeff Green of Heflin, LA; daughters, Becky Green of Rison, and Monica Fryar of San Antonio, TX; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Wallace J. Harrell
Wallace Jefferson Harrell, 92, of North Little Rock died Oct. 7, 2005.
He was a charter member of Lake Hill Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock. He worked for Little Rock Furniture Manufacturing Company for 38 years where he retired.
He is survived by his sons, Bill W. Harrell of New Cannon, CN, and Tom Harrell of Floyd; sisters, Marie Carroll of Cabot and Euna Clark of North Little Rock; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Oct. 10 at Floyd Cemetery. Arrangements were by the North Little Rock Funeral Home.
John Henry Pertuis
John Henry Pertuis, 66, of Little Rock, died Oct. 7, 2005.
He was a retired mechanic for the city of Little Rock, and worked as security for the Arkansas State Fairgrounds for over 30 years. He was a member of East End Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharan Pertuis; son, John A. Pertuis of Bigelow; daughter, Cindy Gibson of Ward; three stepsons, Rodney Loftis of Little Rock, Eddie Loftis of Benton, and Randy Loftis of Fort Smith; stepdaughter, Pamela Cannon of Holiman Air Force Base, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; and five sisters.

Bobby James Kloss, 70, of North Little Rock, died Oct. 8, 2005. He was a member of the NLR Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his sons, Clint Kloss of North Little Rock, Bobby Kloss of Wye Mountain, Doug Kloss of Cabot and Alan Kloss of Benton; daughters, Gina Dodson of Vilonia, Karen Kloss of Colorado and Cathy Kloss of South Carolina; sisters, Mary Kloss of Miami, FL, and Sara Kloss of SC; and eight grandchildren.

Stella Louise Frazier, 87, of Vilonia, died Oct. 8, 2005. She was a homemaker and member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot.
Survivors include sons, Jerry Frazier of Sherwood, James Frazier of Austin, and Johnny Frazier of Vilonia; daughters, Joyce Quick of Portageville and Janet Milan of Clare, MI; brother, Jack Richardson of Houston, TX; sister, Glodine Barham of Apple Valley, MN; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wed., Oct. 12, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial following at Cypress Valley Cemetery
