SEARCY -- Mary Floys Swan Jenkins, 90, of Searcy died Tuesday, July 31, at the White County Medical Center of Searcy. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Searcy.
Survivors include two daughters, Irene Opel of Searcy and Carolyn Parks of Marked Tree; three sons, Kenneth Swan of Selmer, Tenn., Curtis Swan of Wynne and Earl B. Swan of Bee Branch; two sisters, Betty Smith and Juanita Carter, both of Jonesboro; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree, with Everett Isom officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jerry Bunn, Phillip Bunn, Frank Bunn, David Parks, Curtis Wayne Swan and Wayne Dobson.
Honorary pallbearers will include Hal Swan, Freddie Swan, Richard Swan and William Swan.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Jones
BLYTHEVILLE -- Essie Mae Jones, 64, of Blytheville died Monday, July 30, at her home. Born at Blytheville, she was a domestic worker and member of the Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita Hudson and Annette Hoskins, both of Blytheville; four brothers, Charlie Hoy, James Hoy Jr., Otis Robert Hoy and L.D. Anderson, all of Blytheville; one sister, Annie Brown of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Lee Jones.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Southside Church of Christ, 1201 South Franklin, Blytheville, with Jackie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Memorial Cemetery
at Blytheville under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pearson
PARAGOULD -- Bobby Gene Pearson, 53, of Paragould died Friday, July 27, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Born in Greene County, he was a disabled factory worker and a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Pearson of the home; two sons, Stacey Pearson of Jonesboro and Rodney Pearson of Japan; two daughters, Crystal Pearson of the home and Regina Adams of Paragould; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, with John Bowers and Dustin Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery
at Rector.
Active pallbearers will be Keith Davis, Anthony Cook, Pete Cancilla, Nicholas Easton, Rickie Easton and George Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will include Matt Retherford and Richard Mansfield.

Pitcher
DELAPLAINE -- James Pitcher, 63, of Delaplaine died Tuesday, July 31, at his residence. Born at Delaplaine, he was a farmer and a member of the Sutton Free Will Baptist Church of Pocahontas.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pitcher of the home; two daughters, Diane Cox of Delaplaine and Karen Gray of Jonesboro; one son, Michael Pitcher of Delaplaine; his mother, Mary Pitcher of Delaplaine; four brothers, Dawel Pitcher and Phillip Pitcher, both of Paragould, Leon Pitcher of Memphis and Benjamin Pitcher of Marmaduke; four sisters, Anna Shewmaker of Jonesboro, Mary Ellen Ball of O'Kean, Katie Grooms of Beech Grove and Ruth Bruton of Delaplaine; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, with the Revs. Randy Scott and Brad Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Ridge Cemetery
at Delaplaine.
Active pallbearers will be Jim Rice, James Shipman, T.J. Hill, Dugie Robinson, Phillip Keeling and Austin White.
Kent McBroom will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Ramer
Rubye Hamilton Ramer, 94, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Aug. 1, in Memphis. Born at Chewalla, Tenn., she had lived in Jonesboro most of her life and was a homemaker and member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Ramer of Jonesboro; two daughters, Gladys O'Steen of Memphis and Zardrelle Arnott of Steelville, Mo.; a sister, Lucille Brown of Memphis; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Ramer.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Jolly officiating, assisted by Ray Broadaway. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery.

POLLARD -- Ella Mae Reeves, 56, of Pollard died Tuesday, July 31, in Jonesboro. Born in Rector, she was a manager of McDonald's in Corning and was a member of Corning Y Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Reeves of Pollard; two sons, William Jeffery Reeves and Daniel J. Reeves, both of Pollard; two daughters, Angelia Milde of Neelyville, Mo., and Kim Vallance of Knobel; her father, Roy Rhynes of Pollard; two brothers, Arlon Rhynes of Marmaduke and Larry Rhynes of St. Louis; two sisters, Linda Kaye Tullos of Campbell, Mo., and Kathy Ann Beckwith of Creal Springs, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother, one sister and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector, with Blue Hothouse and Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery
at Greenway.

Thompson
Gearl Dean Thompson, 64, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, July 31, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. A longtime Jonesboro-area resident, he was a farmer and the owner of Thompson's Well Service. He served in the Arkansas National Guard and was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hale Thompson of the home; a son, Mitch Thompson of Jonesboro; a daughter, Jamie Shrable of Jonesboro; his mother, Eunice Grissom of Jonesboro; two brothers, Ronnie Grissom and Rickie Grissom, both of Jonesboro; a sister, Opaline Wimpy of Jonesboro; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, with Doug Welborn officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Brewer
Harry O. Brewer, 85, of Jonesboro died Friday, Oct. 19, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. Born at Alton, Mo., he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and president of Brewer Enterprises in Jonesboro. A former Jonesboro city councilman, he had served as president of the Jonesboro Exchange Club and president of the Fisher Street United Methodist Church Senior Citizens Club. He had served as a deacon of Central Baptist Church and was a member and lay leader of Fisher Street United Methodist Church. He was the past president of the Arkansas Baptist Men and the Arkansas Moral and Civic League.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hale Brewer of the home; one son, Harry Danny Brewer Jr. of Jonesboro; two daughters, Ann Hammill of Memphis and Jamie Petty of Raleigh, N.C.; three stepsons, Richard Hale of Groverland, Ill., Leslie Hale of Allen, Texas and Phillip Hale of Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, Joe Russell Brewer of Jonesboro and Herbert Brewer of Imboden; one sister, Sylvia Pickrell of Walnut Ridge; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one stepson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Fisher Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry G. Hunt and Dr. Charles Petty officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery
with arrangements being made by Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
