Jane M. Howard
Jane M. Howard, 82, of Lonoke, died Feb. 9, 2005.
She was a member of Smokey Lane Apostolic Church and a retired employee of Dillard’s Department Store.
Howard is survived by sons, Jerry and B.J. Tullos of Lonoke, Ed O’Keefe of Kentucky; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Sibyl Dyson of Tennessee, Norma Smith and Carolyn Sheehan both of Lonoke, Joan Rowley of Kansas, and Marjorie Barnes of Iowa.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care of Little Rock.
Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial followed in Edgewood Memorial Park.
Lloyd C. Glass
Lloyd C. Glass, 91, of Sherwood, died Feb. 10, 2005.
He worked at Ft. Roots Veterans Hospital in North Little Rock, as a dental technician.
He is survived by daughters, Rose of Lonoke, and Kathryn of Luton, England; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Feb. 10 at Arkansas Memorial Gardens.
Shirley Williamson
Shirley Charlene Williamson, 68, of Jacksonville, died Feb. 10, 2005.
Survivors include her husband, Linwood Williamson; children, Bernie Williamson of Cabot, Tommy Williamson of Jacksonville, Linda Dziga of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and Katrina Brabec of Ward; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Donna McCharen of Jacksonville and Patty Mae Hawkins of Conway.
A memorial service was held Feb. 13, at Southbend United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Cancer Research Center.
Thomas L. Colclasure
Thomas Leroy (Pete) Colclasure of Bauxite died Feb. 12, 2005.
He was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad where he worked as a car man.
Colclasure is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Joyce Spann Colclasure of Bauxite; children, Marty Bevans of Bauxite, Dottie Van Horn of Hot Springs, Libby Baker of Dale, IN, and Tom Colclasure of Little Rock; sister Jearldean Hall of Lonoke, Bessie Watson of Lonoke, Faye Hill of Dumas, and Ruby Randall of Hot Springs; brother Adolphus Colclasure of Blue Mountain; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Sardis on Feb. 15
Interment was at McPherson Cemetery
in Sardis, officiated by Pastor Rick Porter.
Memorials may be made to Saline County Hospice.
Kathryn Wright
Kathryn Wright, 81, of Claremont, CA, died Feb. 6, 2005. Wright was born in 1923 in Arkansas and a 38-year resident of Claremont. She was a wonderful wife to David Wright for over 50 years. Calvary Baptist Church of La Verne was her home church.
She is survived by her daughter Regina Sullivan of San Dimas, CA; son Gary Wright of La Verne, CA; sisters Rachel Young of Arkansas and Louise Scott of South Carolina; brother Sonny Rouse of Arkansas; and 6 grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Feb.11 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2990 Damien Ave., La Verne, CA 91750. Memorials may be sent to the church.
Jewell D. Hancock
Jewell Dean Sharp Hancock, 69, of Jacksonville, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Stephen Delong of Ward; daughters, Carol Delong, Donna Johnson, Peggy Delong, Frances Delong, all of Jacksonville, and Freda Delong of Sherwood and Jo Walker; mother, Flora Sharp of Morrilton; sister, Edith Morrow of Morrilton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 14 at the Morrilton Christian Center with Rev. Larry Miller officiating.
Burial was at the National Cemetery
in Little Rock.
Silva Underwood
Silva Underwood, 88, of Cabot, died Feb. 11, 2005.
She is survived by daughters, Doris Mills, Sylvia Williams, and Cora Moses; sons, Wm. John Underwood and Calvin E. Underwood; sister, Elizabeth Tucker; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 14, at the First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ with Rev. Nathan Holmes officiating.
Interment followed in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Adean Edwards
Adean Edwards, 73, of Carlisle, died Feb. 10, 2005.
She is survived by her children, Vaughn Edwards, Phyllis Russell and Joan White; brothers, Teddy Walker, Jesse Walker and Roy Walker; sisters, Annie Willis, Maelean Roark and Alice M. Clay.
Funeral services will be Fri., Feb. 18, 2005, 1 p.m. at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church in Carlisle.
Jack T. Kirklin
Jack T. Kirklin, 84, of Little Rock, died Feb. 12, 2005.
He was a retired engineer of 39 years with Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the Cherrywood Baptist Church, American Legion, Blue Lodge #633, a 32nd degree Mason, Scimitar Shrine Temple, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a member of the Lakeside Country Club and an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his son, Gary Kirklin of Cabot; daughters, Tracy Spears and Jackie Kirklin, both of Little Rock; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Sandifer officiating.
Interment was in Edgewood Memorial Park.
Minnie F. Murray
Minnie Frances Murray, 79, of Carlisle, died Feb. 12, 2005.
She was a lifelong resident of Carlisle and a member of the Carlisle First United Methodist Church.
The funeral service was held at Carlisle First United Methodist Church and interment was in the Carlisle cemetery.

Bertha A. Wilson
Bertha A. Thomas Worstell Wilson, 87, of Cabot, died Feb. 12, 2005.
She was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her daughters, Lou Smith of Burke, Va., Nanette Hipp of Prim, and Rebecca Whitaker of Cabot; son, Richard Wilson of Sardis; brother, Daniel M. Thomas of England; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Edgewood Memorial Park.
