Teresa M. Roberts
Teresa Michelle Roberts, age 26, of El Paso, passed away June 5, 2004. She was born May 11, 1978 to Roger and Joy Ross.
Preceded in death by her mother, Joy Faye Caldwell Ross and her paternal grandparents Gus and Jessie Ross, and sister Candice Leann Parr.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Austin Roberts and her two small sons, Bradlee Austin and Dakota Matthew Roberts of the home; father, Roger Dean Ross; brother, Joshua Frost; paternal grandparents, William and Edna. Caldwell all of Clarendon, father and mother-in-law: Joe C. and Linda Roberts of El Paso; three brothers-in-law, Joey Roberts and Amanda, Neal Roberts and Chad Roberts all of El Paso; one sister-in-Iaw, April Wilkerson and Ray of Gould, two aunts, Brenda and Melba as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 8, 2004 from 3:00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church with interment following at Grissard Cemetery
in El Paso with Bro. John Powers officiating. Pallbearers were Van, Alan. Jess, Wess, Marvin and John. The surrounding volunteer fire fighters acted as honorary pallbearers, Famjly requests memorials in Teresa’s memory be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Dorothy ‘Anderson’ Luck
Dorothy (Anderson) Luck, age 85, of Beebe, died June 3, 2004.
Mrs. Luck was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Beebe. She is survived by three sons, Donald Luck of Lonoke, Calvin Luck of South Dakota and Roger Luck of Greenwood; three daughters, Rita Highfill of Carlisle, Jill Patterson of North Little Rock and Jan Garrison of Vilonia; 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday, June 7, 2004, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
Mitchell D. Gentry
Mitchell D. Gentry, 83, of Lonoke passed away June 3, 2004.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Oma Evelyn Gentry.
Survivors are four sons, George Gentry and Ronnie Gentry, both of DeValls Bluff, Jerome Gentry of Cabot and Randy Gentry of Lonoke; three daughters, Linda Browning of North Little Rock, Bonnie King of Irvin, Texas and Sharon Rainwater of Lonoke; a brother, Tom Gentry; sisters, Verna Campbell and Hazel Akins, all of Lonoke; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel in Lonoke with entombment at Chapel Hills in Jacksonville.
Ozell Taylor Lyle
Ozell Taylor Lyle, 89, of Little Rock and formerly of Delight, died.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny B. Lyle of Cabot and Jimmy P. Lyle of Beebe; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Geyer Springs in Southwest Little Rock.
Funeral services were June 9 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, Little Rock, with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
Marjorie F. Whittaker
Marjorie Frances “Margie” Whittaker, 83, of North Little Rock died June 4, 2004.
She is survived by three children, Hope Troy of Sherwood, Nelson D. Whittaker of Rose Bud, and Larry W. Whittaker of Ward; one brother, Bill McGlothing of San Antonio, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was June 8, in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, North Little Rock with burial at National Cemetery
in Little Rock.

D.E. “Dee’’ Stratton Jr., 53, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday.

Richard G. McCullough
Richard Gregory McCullough, 35, of Little Rock died June 2, 2004.
He was a Persian Gulf War veteran while serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Hawes (FFG 53). He was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy “E” Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal and Good Conduct Medal Award.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy Denise McCullough; three children, Kaley Denise, Little Rock, Dalyn Michael Ford, Little Rock, Devin Jade McCullough, of Cabot; father, Richard D. McCullough and mother, Teresa L. McCullough, of New Albany, Ind.; brothers, Christopher M. Childers, of Hampton, and Timothee Richard McCullough of New Albany, Ind.; sister, Terri L. Kemp, of Hampton; grandfather, H.D. McCullough and grandmother, Opal McCullough of Camden.

Funeral services were Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
John Hughes Measels
John Hughes Measels, 93, of Searcy died June 1, 2004.
He was a Baptist, a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and a retired division manager with the Mississippi River Transmission Corp.
Survivors are his wife, Julie Knowles Measels; sons, Carlton W. Measles of Desha, Bobby Glen Measels of Carlisle, Gerald Lee Measels of Searcy and John William Measels of Cabot; stepsons, W.T. Cummings and Tommy L. Allen of Maumelle; a stepdaughter, Betty Sue Tullos of Maumelle; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Friday at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Carlisle Cemetery.
Thomas W. Gates
Thomas William Gates, 73, of El Paso died June 5, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gates; Donna and Curtis Vanderpool, Chuck and Cindy Harper, Keith and Nikki Harper, Tracy and Aaron Croy; sisters, Mary Harris, Gladys Rosenbaum, Melba Palmartree, and Cathy Miller; brothers, James Gates, Robert Gates, George Gates; and 9 grandchildren.

Martha Bess Bingham
Martha Bess Bingham, 86, of North Little Rock died June 5, 2004.
She was born in Lonoke County.
She was a member of the Caney Creek Baptist Church in the Pettus community in Lonoke County for 70 years. After she moved to North Little Rock, she joined Park Hill Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Open Door Senior Adult I Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her son, John Biscoe Bingham; and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services were June 8, at Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. Interment was at Roselawn Cemetery
in Little Rock.

Donald E. Fallen
Donald Eugene Fallen, age 70 of Cabot, died June 3, 2004.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, and he retired after as a CMSgt from the position of Superintendent of the Little Rock Air Force Base Hospital in 1976. Following his military service, he established the first Family Support Center on Little Rock Air Force Base in 1986 and retired as Director in 1997.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen; two sons, Danny and Dean; two daughters, Christine Anderson and Bernadette Puckett; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A memorial service with military honors was held June 7, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
