Miller

SALEM -- George Edward Miller Jr., 68, of Salem, died Monday at the Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System hospital in Cherokee Village. He was a rural route mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ash Flat.

Survivors include his wife, Wilda Mae Miller of the home; one son, George E. Miller of Ohio; two stepsons, Wayne Tyler of Agnos and Tim Tyler of Salem; two daughters, Clarissa Miller of Marysville, Ohio, and Tami Rose Shepherd of Albuquerque, N.M.; two stepdaughters, Phoebe Tyler of Wauconda, Wash., and Pat Wood of Piggott; his mother, Clarabelle Miller of Oxford, Ohio; one brother, David L. Miller of Oxford; three sisters, Carol Works of Okeana, Ohio, Peggy Wilkinson of Vestal, N.Y., and Janet Wyatt of Oxford; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and two stepsons.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ash Flat. The body was cremated under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem.

Mrs. Seale

Mrs. Mary Durham Seale, 85, of Jonesboro, died Monday at Beverly Health and Rehab Center in Jonesboro. Formerly of Birmingham, Ala., she was a homemaker and member of Huffman United Methodist Church in Birmingham.

Survivors include one son, Robert Seale of Jonesboro; one brother, T.L. Durham of Bessemer, Ala.; two sisters, Redelle Bobo of Graysville, Ala., and Lou Kelley of Annandale, Va.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Seale.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel in Birmingham. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Garden East in Birmingham.

Gibbs

DYESS -- Melvin Gibbs, 72, of Dyess, died Wednesday. Born at Savannah, Tenn., he was a former maintenance employee for Cromptons, a burner for Spear- Woods and a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Shannon Gibbs of Dyess; one son, Rick "Mel" Gibbs of Jonesboro; three daughters, Lynda Gibbs and Debbie Gibbs, both of Dyess, and Sheila Holland of Keiser; one sister, Jackie Adkisson of Inverness, Fla.; one brother, Robert Gibbs of Pensacola, Fla.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola with Mike Gonzales and Bob Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Louise Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thomas

LAND O'LAKES, Fla. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Annie K. Thomas, 87, of Land O'Lakes, who died Saturday, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Jonesboro with the Rev. Barry White officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Pallbearers will be Steve Weld, Gary Weld, Ed Thomas, Mike Thomas, Matt White, Mark White, Mike Cameron and Marvin Day.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 :30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Land O'Lakes, Hernando-Pasco Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Ritter

NEWPORT -- Alonzo L. Ritter, 63, of Newport, died Wednesday at Jonesboro. He worked for J.D. Nicholson Farms and as a mechanic foreman until his retirement. He was of the Protestant belief.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Sue Noble Ritter of Newport; three sons, Lonnie Ritter of Dowagiac, Mich., Billy Ritter of Newark and Brian Ritter of Weiner; four stepsons, Donny Jackson and Shane Loftis, both of Newport, David Jackson of Tampa, Fla., and Dale Loftis of Jonesboro; one stepdaughter, Denise Stephens of Cleveland, Texas; two brothers, George Ritter of Moyoark, S.C., and Leon Ritter of Newport; five grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Evans and the Rev. Keith De Mason officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Brown

TRUMANN -- John Henry Brown, 61, of 808 Hurd, Trumann, died Wednesday at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a machine operator at Columbia Forest Products and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Brown of Trumann; four daughters, Glenda Booker of Harrisburg, Pat Eudy of Osceola, and Mona Nix and Robbie Ann Rieathbaum, both of Trumann; three sons, Joe Glidewell of Marked Tree, Robby Powell of Jonesboro and Tim Brown of Brandon, Miss.; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home with Mark Constant officiating. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Pete Armstrong, Rocky Bratton, Rodney Bratton, Greg Armstrong, Joey Bogart and Charles Maxwell.

Honorary pallbearers will include Steve Booker, Lloyd Martin and Jonathan Martin.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Damron

WYNNE -- Willard Damron, 72, of Wynne, died Wednesday at CrossRidge Community Hospital in Wynne. He was a precision machinist for research at Caterpillar Tractor Company in Peoria, Ill., and was a car salesman for the former Murray Chevrolet Company and Ross Ford in Wynne before his retirement. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Damron of Wynne; two sons, Larry Damron and Michael Damron, both of Wynne; three brothers, Clifford Damron, Herman Damron and Henry Damron, all of Wynne; five sisters, Dorma Lee Tims of Byhalia, Miss., Ella Mae "Pete" Ross of Cherry Valley, Barbara Ann Ridge of Hickory Ridge, Erma Jones of Wynne, and Lorene Whitehead of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Denny Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Akin Cemetery near Cherry Valley.

Memorials may be made to the Vanndale Baptist Church.

Mrs. Henderson

WILSON -- Mrs. Juanita Henderson, 75, of Wilson, died Thursday in Osceola. Born at Walnut Ridge, she was a member of Wilson First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, J.E. Henderson of Wilson; one son, Bo Henderson of Marion; three daughters, Alice Faye Price of Chelford, Margaret Mitchell of Whiton and Gale Carr of Reverie, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Vaughn Blue officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Swift Funeral Home of Osceola.

Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robnolt

SHERWOOD -- Mrs. Dorothy Mae "Dot" Robnolt, 61, of Sherwood, died Thursday at her home. She was a graduate of Earle High School and Arkansas College and taught fourth grade in West Memphis and Marianna. She served as a substitute teacher and test administrator at military facilities where her husband served as an Army chaplain. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, and was a member of the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Dr. Jim Robnolt of the home; three daughters, J'laine Robnolt of Fort Smith, Valerie Robnolt of Charlottesville, Va., and Julie Robnolt of Little Rock; her mother, Mary Wood Williams Harris of Marion; four brothers, James W. Harris Jr. and Danny L. Harris, both of West Memphis, Charles R. Harris of Jonesboro and W. Glenn Harris of Fayetteville; one daughter, Debra J. Harris Gordon of Grove, Okla.; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, J. Wilbur Harris Sr.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church at Earle and at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church at North Little Rock. In accordance with her wishes, her body was donated to the anatomy department of University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the family home.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Cancer Research Center, UAMS, Arkansas Chapter of the American Cancer Society or the First United Methodist Church at Earle or North Little Rock.

Anderson

CAVE CITY -- Owen Dale Anderson, 63, of Cave City, died Tuesday at his home. He worked for Emerson Electric Company before his retirement and was a member of the Liberty Full Gospel Church in Cave City.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Burns of Magnolia, Terry D. Anderson of Newport and Greg Anderson of Batesville; three daughters, Sara Hawkins and Cyndie Christopher, both of Cave City, and Shelia Burns of West Memphis; one sister, Anna Belle Davis of Poughkeepsie; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy E. Anderson, and by one brother.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City, with the Rev. Dwight Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the Maxville Cemetery north of Cave City.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Burns, Jonathan Anderson, Bill Anderson, Steve Lewis, Richard Hawkins II, Christopher Anderson, Doug Pilkington and Phil Sammarco.

Jewell

PARAGOULD -- Homer Jewell, 85, of Paragould, died Thursday at Arkansas Methodist Hospital. Born at Arbyrd, Mo., he was a former employee of the Paragould Ice Company and a member of Seventh and Mueller Church of Christ.

There are no immediate survivors.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with Larry McFadden officiating. Heath Funeral Home of Paragould is in charge of arrangements.

Kibler

PARAGOULD -- Kenny Wayne Kibler, 51, of Paragould, died Thursday at his home. He was a construction worker and was affiliated with the Grace United General Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Kibler of Paragould; one daughter, Sonya Huffmaster of Paragould; his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Athern Gray of Paragould; his grandmother, Sylvia Taylor of Paragould; one brother, Ronnie Kibler of Paragould; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas W. "Bud" Kibler Jr.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, with Ronnie Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Dickson, Jerry Kersey, Jack Bishop, Steve Grimes, Jim Lashley and Eldon Hodge.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
