Randy Wilburn
Randy Wilburn, 55, of Beebe died Jan. 23, 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wilburn; daughters, Jennifer Bailey, Pam Pearson, and Amy Wilburn; sister, Shirley Stain of McRae; brother, Jodie Wilburn of Conway; five grandchildren.
He was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason, a Vietnam Veteran, and a three-time Post Commander at VFW Post 7769.
Graveside service was Jan. 24 at Stoney Point Cemetery, Beebe. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.
Ronald Lynn Stone
Ronald Lynn Stone, 41, of North Little Rock died Jan. 21, 2004.
Survivors are his wife of 21 years, Sondra Stone; a son, David Stone; a daughter, Kathryn Stone, all of North Little Rock; his mother, Loraine Stone of Little Rock.
He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church, and was an employee of Arkansas Employment Security Department for 27 years.

Funeral was Jan. 26 at Park Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
William D. Hum
William C. “Bill” Hum, 70, of Cabot died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, a Navy veteran of the
Korean War and the retired owner of Hum Hardware, which he founded in 1956.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Rose of Jacksonville; two sons, Anthony “AJ” Hum of Cabot and William “Billy” Hum of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; one step-grandson; two brothers, John F. Hum Jr., and Patrick Hum; sisters, Antoinette Grapevine, Rita Green, Clara Goss, Theresa Kleinpeter, and Bernadette Renton.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 5600 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Ark., 72204.
Mass of Christian burial was held Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial was in Sumner Cemetery. Rosary service was held at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Rose Mary Daniels
Rose Mary Sims Daniels, age 47, of Lonoke, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004.
Survivors are her husband, Walter; her mother; her daughter, Laraine Carroll; three sisters; three brothers; and two granddaughters.
Services were Tuesday at Fellowship Baptist Church, Des Arc, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery
by Garth Funeral Home.
Robert C. McCain
Robert C. McCain, 78, of Wheatridge, Colo., died Jan. 14, 2004.
He was an attorney and a geologist. He lived in Cabot during his early years. He was a pilot in he Naval Air Corps during WWII.
Survivors are his wife, Rahlys; daughters, Becky Barrows of Boulder, Colo. and Genny Jordan of Ft. Collins, Colo; and a brother, Edwin A. McCain of Collierville, Tenn.
James O. Mason
James O. Mason, 83, of Gladwyne, Pa., died Jan. 19, 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Mason, of Verona, Italy; a son, James R. Mason of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Alma Smith of El Dorado; and one granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, 625 Montgomery Ave., Bryn Mawr, Pa., 19010. A private interment was held at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the Chapel of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church.
Gerald D. Tilghman
Gerald David Tilghman, age 57, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004. He was employed by Mags Trucking Co. as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Ella L. Tilghman, two children, Gerald David Tilghman II of Castroville, Texas and Mary Waldrup of Jacksonville; his father, William Sanford Tilghman of Lonoke; four grandchildren, T.J, Tiffany, Josh and Brittany; one sister, Diane Owens of Lonoke; two brothers, Kenneth Tilghman of Tennesse and Robert Tilghman of Texas.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004 at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, Lonoke, officiated by Bro. John Lee. Burial will follow at Brownsville Cemetery.
Ida Mae Shannon
Ida Mae Shannon, loving wife and mother, passed away on January 26, 2004 in Baton Rouge, LA, after celebrating her 80th birthday. She was born January 7, 1924 to the late A.D. and Maud Kerr. She was a native of Cabot, Arkansas until 1976 when her husband, Cecil Shannon, passed away. It was at that time she moved to Baton Rouge to be with her daughter, Debra Shannon. Ida Mae’s life was devoted to her daughter, working relentlessly with her after numerous operations resulting from polio which she contracted at nine months of age. After the death of her daughter in 1990, Ida Mae continued to reside in Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her twin infant sisters, Maxine and Imogene; one sister, Lois McGloflin; one brother, Finis Kerr. She is survived by one sister, Mary Elizabeth Jones of Cabot; and eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Friday, January 30 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside Service was Friday January 30, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
C. J. Smith
Christopher Joseph Smith, 17, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, January 28. Chris was born December 24, 1986 to Timothy Craig Smith, Sr. and Petra Thielking Smith. He was a sophomore at Cabot High School. Chris loved auto mechanics and could usually be found fixing up an old car or anything with a motor. He is preceded in death by a sister, Danielle Marie; his maternal grandfather, Werner Wilhelm Thielking; and uncle, Jan Mitchell Smith. Along with his parents, he is survived by a sister, Ashley Marie of the home; eight brothers, Timothy Craig, Jr. of Luke AFB, AZ, Nicholas Charles, Michael Lee, Wesley Brian, Andrew Douglas, Nathaniel Wilhelm, Bradley William, and Tyler Ryan, all of the home; maternal grandmother, Maria Thielking; paternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Smith; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will all miss him dearly. Visitation was from 3 til 8 Tuesday at Cabot Funeral Home. Graveside service was Wednesday at 10 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery

M. D. Lendermon
A special son, Maxson Dow Lendermon of Cabot was born on Jan. 24, 2004, already in the arms of Jesus.
He will be greatly missed by his mommy and daddy, Darren and Karen Lendermon of Cabot; grandparents, Russell and Kaye Lendermon of Cabot, Dow and Becky Currier of Little Rock; great-grandparents, Bob and Bo Gibbs of Cabot; aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
On Sunday, Feb. 1, a gathering of family and friends honored his life at Forest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock.

Brenda Gronwald, 58, Pine Bluff died Wednesday.
Survivors son, Joe Gronwald, Magnolia; daughter, Tina McDaniel, Pine Bluff; sister, Louise Waggner, Cabot; five grandchildren.
Memorial services were Jan. 31, at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son. Private burial, Lost Creek Cemetery, Sheridan.
Glyndora Adams
Glyndora Adams, age 75, of Cabot died Jan. 30, 2004.
She attended McArthur Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Robert; three daughters, Cynthia Turner, Doreen Ballard, Pam Brockway, all of Cabot; son, Darol Adams of Lincoln Park, Mich.; four sisters, Gertrude Parker, Elizabeth Lipscomb, Corasue McMillian, Nelda Farnsworth, all of Tennessee; two brothers, Charlie Potts of Tennessee, Ormand Potts of Virginia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grand-children.
Funeral services were Feb. 2, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, with entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
