Louis Gable, 66, died Nov. 16, 2003.
Survivors include his daughter, Helen Bryant; one grandson; one brother, Garland Gable; five sisters, Louise Holt, Jean Parnell, Katherine Evans, Bessie Barber and Judy Gordon.
Services were Wednesday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
Robert A. Kornegay
Robert Alton Kornegay, 89, of Jacksonville, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003.
He was a charter member of Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
He is survived by his wife, Jimanna of Jacksonville; two daughters, Colleen VanNostrand of Jacksonville and Mary Ford of Austin; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Nov. 17, at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel followed by interment at Rest Hills Cemetery
in North Little Rock.

Clifford S. Wiley
Clifford Stephen Wiley, 48, of North Little Rock, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003.
He worked for Heritage Building Systems in North Little Rock, and served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his mother, Bobbye J. Wiley of Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Susan Wiley Chipman of Conway, Carol Wiley Williams of Cabot and Maryann Wiley Lay of Toledo, Ohio.
A memorial service was held Monday at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home chapel.

David Starbuck, 69, Searcy, died Friday.
Survivors: wife, Edith, Searcy; daughters, Teresa Runnion, Searcy, Cathy James, Southaven; sons, Marty Metzger, Austin, Phillip Starbuck, Bald Knob; eight grandchildren, one sister, two brothers.

Eugene Arthur Hawley, 69, Plainview, died Thursday.
Survivors: sons, David, Bill, Anthony, Donald Hawley, all of Benton; daughters, Martha Hawley of Lonoke, Vicky Hawley of Ico and Cathy Brown of Malvern; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Eva Viola Wolfe
Eva Viola Wolfe, age 85, of Austin, died Nov. 16, 2003.
She is survived by five sons, Bill, Ben, Jr., Ron, David and James Wolfe; daughter Sandra Oliver; sister, Doretta Seese, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in the chapel of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Lillian Jo Knoedl, 82, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003.
She is survived by John E. Knoedl; two sons, John P. Knoedl of Opello, David Keith Knoedl of Benton; two daughters, Carol Stephanie Smith of Reed Springs, Mo., Karla Kathy Bellsie of Cabot; one sister, Betty Fern Daniels of Longview, Texas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were Saturday, Nov. 22 at Pinecrest Memorial Psrk in Alexander, with Father Abbott Kodel officiating. Rosary was Friday, Nov. 21, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home.
Lonnie E. (Dick) Cole
Lonnie E. (Dick) Cole, Jr., 79, of Cabot went to be with Jesus November 22, 2003. He was a loving husband, dad, grand-dad and great grand-dad, but most of all he was a great friend. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, the late Arizona (Cole) Crace and Lonnie E. Cole, Sr., and one sister, Nina Widner. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 61 years, Elsie (Goforth) Cole; 2 sons, Harold Cole (and Charlotte) of Sherwood, and Jerry Cole (and Susan) of Cabot; 1 daughter, Robin Standridge (and Jerry) of Cabot; 5 grandchildren, Annette Krebs, Harold E. Cole, Kelle Cole, Derek and Justin Standrige; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Jesse Castro of OR, Mary Jones Green of Maumelle AR, Noma Serdin of CA, Virginia Gonzales of Cabot, AR; 1 brother, Grover Cole of Little Rock AR.
Visitation was Monday, Nov. 24 from 6-8 pm at Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 2 pm at McArthur Assembly of God, 3501 John Harden Rd., Jacksonville, AR, with Larry Burton officiating and interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Calvin P. Roach, 69, of Cabot died Nov. 17, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and 5 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Roach of the home; 2 sons, Johnnie C. “J.C.” Roach and Billy R. Roach, of Cabot; 3 daughters, Katie Lee Mayfield and Patty A. Wheatly of Cabot and Robin Wright of TX; 4 brothers, Jessie, J.D., Jimmie, and Richard Roach; 2 sisters, Darlene Goode and Charlene Mayfield; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Wednesday, Nov. 19, noon-1 pm at Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Springs Baptist Church with Brother James Thomason officiating. Interment was at Mt. Springs Cemetery, Cabot. Arrangements by Cabot Funeral Home.
Arron Morgan Lea
Arron Morgan Lea, 18, of Mt. Vernon, was born May 5, 1985 and went to be with the Lord Nov. 16, 2003. He was a member of Foothills Fellowship Bible Church.
His mother, Charlotte Diane Lea, preceded him in death. Survived by his dad, Myles Lea; two sisters, La Rena Van Buren and Lindsey Strickland; aunts and uncles include his legal guardians, John and Cindy McCarty, Les Wisinger, Eddie and Patty Wisinger; cousins, Casey Moser, Brian and Sharon Daniels, Atlanta Daniels and Keely Pace; grandmother, Billie Ritchie; great-grandmother, Charlotte Thompson; numerous other aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Wed. Nov. 19 at Cabot Funeral Home.

Stacy Deshea Lankford, 33, of Cabot died Nov. 20, 2003. She is survived by her parents, Douglas and Greta Lankford; brother, Derick Glyn Lankford and wife Ashlie; grandmother, Alma Jean Roberts; aunts and uncles.

Thomas “Jack” Branum, 64, of Austin died Nov. 20, 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and a half sister. He is survived by his wife, Janet Branum; 2 daughters, Deanna Michele Seeley and husband Mitch of LA and Tommi Rene Harris and husband Patrick of TX; 1 brother, Barney Branum of MO; 3 sisters, Bonnie Brannon of Mt. Home, Lydia Williams of MO and Brenda Floyd of Cabot; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Curtis D. Taylor
Curtis Dean Taylor, age 50 of Beebe, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003. He was retired from the U.S. military where he served as a Marine and in the National Guard. He was a veteran of Vietnam and the Gulf War, and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Taylor of Beebe; daughters Angie Taylor of Pine Bluff, Jennifer Wadley of Danville and Natalie Magby of Coal Hill; a brother, James E. Taylor, Jr. of White Hall; sisters Lola Jean Huffty of Glendale, Jeanette Bradshaw-Lightfoot of White Hall, Linda Hays of Pine Bluff; grandson Keaton Brundage and granddaughter, Faith Davidson.
Visitation was. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral was. Friday, Nov. 21, at Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.

Rebecca Jane Langford Arnold, 77, of Ward, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003. She was retired from Teletype and was a Baptist.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Lamb of Brinkley, Donna Campbell of Atlanta, G.a; sisters Bernadine Stephens, Ann Griffin and Sandra Nelke, all of Ward; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, Nov. 21, at Westbrook Funeral Home. Graveside service was Saturday at New Hope Cemetery

Robert Lee Hester
Robert Lee Hester, age 67, of Beebe, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003. He was a retired dairy farmer and a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Wright Hester; one son, Michael Clayton of Cave Springs; four daughters, Connie Leonard of Shannon Hills, Vickie Sellers and Mary Ann Brumley, both of Lonoke and Debbie Pickens of Bald Knob; nine grandchildren.
Visitation was Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home. Funeral was Wednesday in the Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bald Knob.
