Survivors include one daughter, Jamie Ashmore of Mineral Springs, Ark.; one sister, Sheila Marts of Stigler, Okla.; three brothers, Larry Bowman of Texarkana, Randall Crow of De Queen, Ark., and Danny Crow of Ashdown; and two grandsons.
Memorials services will be held at a later date under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.

ASHDOWN, Ark. - Elowise Cunningham, 81, of DeKalb, Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, in Texarkana.
Mrs. Cunningham was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Direct, Texas. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Rosser.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Cunningham of DeKalb; two sons, James Colten of Hot Springs, Ark., and John Wright of Wilton, Ark.; one daughter, Shirley Amerson of Mesquite, Texas; one brother, Hardy Hendrix of Wilton, Ark.; two sisters, Sybil Murchison of Wilton and Bobby Williams of Dallas; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Wilton Cemetery
with the Rev. Donald Bowman officiating. Burial will be under direction of Madden Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

De QUEEN, Ark. - Norman Clay "Dimp" Staggs, 65, of Eagletown, Okla., died Monday, March 1, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Staggs was born March 17, 1938, in Lockesburg, Ark. He was a retired from Weyerhaeuser and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willow Staggs in May 1990.
Survivors include one son, Loyd Staggs of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter and son - in - law, Angie and Jay Ragan of Eagletown; four sisters, Verna Campbell of Ben Lomond, Ark., Zella Barnes of De Queen, Clara Frady of Hatfield, Ark., and Katy Pannell of Horatio, Ark.; one brother, Johnny Staggs of New Hope, Ark.; one granddaughter, Meshalia Ragan; and two stepgrandsons.

Elizabeth was born June 1, 1992, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a sixth grade student at Bradley Elementary School and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sewell was born July 9, 1911, in Blevins. She was a homemaker and a member of Bruce Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil W. Sewell on Feb. 26, 1998.
Survivors include one daughter and son - in - law, Ramona Jean and Robert Conner of Olden, Texas; two sisters, Annie P. Smart of Odessa, Texas, and Hautie Huskey of Blevins; three grandsons, Jerry A. Mrs. Hill was born Oct. 19, 1914, in Brownsville, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pisgah E.H. Club and Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Barlow Hill.
Survivors include five sons, William Hill of Prescott, Ark., Frederick "Pete" Hill of Murfreesboro, Bobby Hill of Hartford, Ark., Jerry Hill of Delight, Ark., and Ralph Hill of Longview, Texas; four sisters, Cora Hill and Marie Halcomb of Delight, Vestel Andrews of Ozark, Ala., and Beth Prince of Jacksonville, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great - grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
