Ron Lindenmuth
LEACHVILLE -- Ron Lindenmuth, 46, of Leachville died Wednesday morning, April 11, 2007, at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Fort Mead, Md., Ron lived in several areas while growing up in a
military family. He lived in Trumann and Clarksville, Tenn., before moving to Leachville earlier this year.
He worked as a machine operator for Haworth in Jonesboro, a Realtor in Texas and a restaurant manager in Illinois. He was a Protestant and U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Williard "Lindy" Lindenmuth.
Survivors include his wife, April Wilson Lindenmuth of the home; one daughter, Tracy Ferguson of Katy, Texas; his mother, Shirley Lindenmuth of Marble Falls, Texas; one brother, Jerry Lindenmuth of Austin, Texas; and one sister, Lori Londa of Houston.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 1 until service time at Emerson Chapel.

Terry L. Mahon
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. -- Terry L. Mahon, 46, of Collierville passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Collierville Funeral Home in Collierville with memorial services beginning at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roller-Citizen Funeral Home in Marianna with interment to follow in Marianna Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Terry was a machinist with the former Walker Machine Products Inc. in Collierville and most recently with Engineered Medical Systems LLC of Bartlett, Tenn. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, but his true purpose in life was his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Leroy Mahon.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jeannie Miles Mahon; two sons, Jonathan Mahon and Tyler Mahon, both of Collierville; his mother, Sally Terral and her husband Mitch of Clinton; three brothers, Mike Mahon of Eads, Tenn., Tim Milton of Clinton and Robert Mahon of California; his sister, Patricia Mahon of Pine Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Terry's honor may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Essie May
WALCOTT -- Mrs. Essie Newsom May, age 99, of Walcott died Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
Mrs. May was looking forward to her 100th birthday. She was born to the late R.A. "Ab" and Dora Newsom. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and a longtime resident of Walcott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.F. "Bid" May.
Survivors include her sons, Argene May and his wife Carma Dean of Jonesboro, Dean May and his wife Gaye of Walcott and Jackie May and his wife Mary of Paragould; daughter, Patsy J. Evans and her husband Charles of Jacksonville; sister, Pearlie Wilcoxson of Long Island, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at Heath Funeral Home this evening from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Walcott with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Wanda Metz
JONESBORO -- Wanda Metz, 76, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, April 10, at Little Rock.
She was a homemaker and member of Lake City Assembly of God. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband, Ezra Metz of the home; sons Gary and wife Patty Metz, and Mark Metz, all of Jonesboro; daughter Sherry and husband Bill Womack of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Chad Womack, Amanda Stewart, Amber Richardson, Erica Smith and Olivia Metz; great-grandchildren, Cade Womack, Sawyer Robinson, Collin Womack and Kate Stewart; sister, Evelyn and husband Bill Wingo of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucian M. and Violet Bates Moore.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday in Jonesboro Memorial Park with Steve Crawford and Mike Glover officiating.
Visitation will be this evening from 5-8 and Friday morning from 9-10 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Chad Womack, the Rev. Matt Smith, Micheal Stewart, Kevin Richardson, Phillip Wingo, Derrell Listhartke, Nicholas Wingo and Phil Wingo.
Honorary pallbearers will include Cade Womack, Collin Womack and Sawyer Robinson.
Elzie 'Pete' Mosier
HOXIE -- Elzie "Pete" Mosier, 97, died Wednesday at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.
A lifetime resident of Hoxie, he was a retired farmer and member of Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, a great-grandson, three sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Roach Mosier; a daughter, Joyce Sullins of Bono; sons, Bob Mosier of Paragould, Jimmy Mosier of Powhatan and Terry Mosier of Ida; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with A.J. Stracener and Kevin Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery
in Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8 in the chapel at the funeral home.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Carolyn Faye Richards
TRUMANN -- Mrs. Carolyn Faye Richards, 63, of Trumann died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in Trumann Health and Rehabilitation at Trumann.
Mrs. Richards was born and had lived most of her life in Trumann and was formerly of Tipton, Calif. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Ray Richards; her second husband, Leon Sanders Sr.; and was the daughter of the late L.D. and Leona White Tatum.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Richards of Battlefield, Mo., Dave Richards of Trumann and Leon Sanders of Tupelo, Miss.; three sisters, Marsha Butts of Stockton, Calif., Donna Price of Tipton, Calif., and Linda Sharp of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three brothers, David Tatum and Frank Tatum both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jerry Tatum of Tipton, Calif.; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Richards, Gary McIllwain, Angela McIllwain and Kevin Montgomery; and one great-granddaughter, Madison McIllwain.
Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Macedonia Cemetery
in Jonesboro with the Rev. Murry Ray officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
Eugene L. Tate
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Eugene L. Tate, M.D., 82, of Huntsville died April 2.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen G. Tate; children, Ginger Tate Gober of Huntsville, Tony Eugene Tate of Alpharetta, Ga., Kerry Lee Tate of Tallahassee, Fla., and Danny Louis Tate of Pelham, Ala.; sister, Romayne Vaughn of Cincinnati; and grandchildren, Jenny Gober McDaniel, Jamie Lynn Gober, Jordan Eugene Gober, Kelsey Angele Tate, Jessica Leigh Tate and Ansley Nolena Tate.
Memorial services were held in Alabama.

WYNNE — Jessie Burton of Wynne died Friday, Dec. 21, at Wynne.
Funeral services for Mrs. Burton will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in Halk Cemetery
west of Wynne.
Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 in Kernodle Funeral Home.
Donald Elphingstone
NEWPORT — Donald Henry Elphingstone, 70, of Newport died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007.
He was born April 19, 1937, at Lagrange, the son of Aubrey and Madge Howe Elphingstone.
Mr. Elphingstone is survived by one grandchild, James Donald Elphingstone; five brothers, Scott Elphingstone of Dallas, Paul Elphingstone of Paragould, Joe Elphingstone of Forrest City, Jerm Elphingstone of Little Rock and Gene Elphingstone of Houston, Texas; one sister, Nancy Elphingstone of Conway; 12 nieces and nephews; and 22 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home.
