JONESBORO -- Daniel Timothy Ryan, 27, of Jonesboro died Monday at his parents' residence.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Tommy Smith
PIGGOTT -- Tommy Seal Smith, 61, of Piggott passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007.
He was the son of the late Wayne and Beatrice Dowdy Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Terry of Piggott; three children, Tim Smith, Tony Smith and Tory Shirley; eight granddaughters, Lee Ann, Amanda, Ashley, Autuam, Kacy, Shayna, Rachel and Abigail; two brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Hoggard Chapel. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation is today at 6 p.m.
Joe H. Worley
JONESBORO -- Joe H. Worley, 65, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday morning in NEA Medical Center.
He had lived at Jonesboro for the past 34 years and was a member of Highland Drive Christian Church.
Mr. Worley was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was a big fan of the Razorbacks and loved working crossword puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Harold Worley, and a sister, Anne Hatfield.
Mr. Worley is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Worley of Jonesboro; a son, Jody Worley, Jonesboro; two daughters, Robin Bowers, Jonesboro, and Kay Stump and her husband, Brian, Jonesboro; his mother, Opal Worley, Trumann; a brother, Thomas Worley and his wife Veria, Trumann; and a sister, Rosemary Ballard, Trumann.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jonathan Smithee and his wife, Dorilee, Clint Smithee, Brooke Bowers, Michael Coles, Aundy Coles; great-grandchildren, Cierra Navarro and Bailey Coles; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pat James officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery
with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Dennis Gillis, Earnie Miller, Bill Craft, Larry Higgins, Todd Looper, Wayne Blake, and Pete Tharpe.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Stump, Rodger Kiser, Mike Coles, Michael Coles, Jonathan & Dorilee Smithee, Clint Smithee, Brooke Bowers, and Aundy Coles.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Lola Adams
POCAHONTAS -- Lola Adams, 64, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Adams of the home; two sons, Micheal Adams of Leeton, Mo., and Steven Brian Adams of Pocahontas; by Pam Hovis of Pocahontas; one sister, Dorothy Grisham of Drury, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 tonight.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Perry Vadergriff, and at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Black Jack Church at Drury with Bill Romens. Burial will follow in Blanch Cemetery
at Drury.

P.C. (Pete) Barton III
JONESBORO -- P.C. (Pete) Barton III passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 21, in Fayetteville Veterans Home at Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.F. Barton and Demetra Parrish Barton.
He is survived by his former wife, Elizabeth Van Hooser Barton of Memphis; four children, Michael Hamilton Barton of New Brunsfels, Texas, Daniel Kimbrell Barton, Mark Parrish Barton, both of Memphis, and Mary Elizabeth Barton White of St. Louis; three sisters, Frances Barton Bailey of Mountain Home, Martha Barton White of Jonesboro, and Emma Barton Buzick of Bella Vista; and six grandchildren.
Pete was a graduate of Jonesboro High School Class of 1944. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater, attended Mississippi State University, Arkansas State University and University of Arkansas.
He was a member of Theta Kappa Omega and Sigma Chi fraternities and a member of the Jonesboro Elks Lodge for many years.
He was employed at Memphis by Sears as department manager for the furniture and carpet departments. On his return to Jonesboro in 1973, he was associated with Pardew Realty as Realtor and broker. In 1979, Pete was recognized as Arkansas State Realtor of the Year. An avid golfer, he played in many tournaments in the area.
Upon retirement, he resided in Jonesboro.
There will be a memorial service at the Jonesboro Elks Lodge at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007. Friends and family are welcome to the service.

Amon Eugene Holt
MILLIGAN RIDGE -- Mr. Amon Eugene "Gene" Holt, 75, of the Milligan Ridge community near Manila died Saturday, Jan. 20, in St. Bernards Medical Center at Jonesboro.
Born at Manila, he was the son of the late Amon and Naoma Hill Holt and a lifelong resident of Milligan Ridge. He was a member of Milligan Ridge Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sons, Sonny and Larry Holt; and a grandson, Philip Mattingly.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anabeth Davidson Holt of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Rex Haney of Jonesboro and Rosann and Felton Mattingly of Manila; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Chapman of Turlock, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Howard Funeral Service Chapel at Manila, with the Rev. Waymon Holt and the Rev. Danny Webster officiating. Burial will be in Manila Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 tonight in the funeral home.
Active pallbearers are Rex Haney, Felton Mattingly, Trey Holt, Michael Mattingly, Thomas Fowler and Patrick Fowler.

JONESBORO -- Joseph Albert Lopez, 64, died Saturday, Jan. 20, in UAMS at Little Rock as the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Edna G. Mandrell
PARAGOULD -- Edna G. Mandrell, 95, died Saturday, Jan. 20, in Greene Acres Nursing Home at Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Mandrell; her parents; and her siblings.
She was a housewife and a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight in Heath Funeral Home.
Her life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, in Heath Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Shirley Peve
IMBODEN -- Shirley Peve, 86, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Robinson and Lila Carr; four sons, Richard, Alvey, Larry and Aruther Peve; one sister, Carol French, 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded by her husband, one son, three sisters, one brother and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 to noon. Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pauline Rash
JONESBORO -- Mrs. Lillie Pauline Rash, 82, of Jonesboro died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in St. Bernards Medical Center at Jonesboro.
Mrs. Rash was born in Cameron, Okla., and had lived for the past 40 years in Jonesboro and was formerly of Trumann. She was a retired housekeeper for St. Bernards Medical Center and a member of Nettleton Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Elmer Rash Sr., in 1992; a daughter, Gail Rash; a son, Johnny Rash; and her parents, Jack and Alice Scroggins Neeley.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alice Long of Jonesboro; one son, Floyd Rash Jr. of Powhatan; three grandsons, Michael Scott Long, Christopher Long and Gregory Forrester; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery
in Harrisburg. Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Goad, Don Wisdom, Wayne Neeley, Greg Forrester, Paul Coats and Steven Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Goad, Scott Long and Chris Long.
