KATELYN POPE

Katelyn Alexis Pope, infant daughter of Damon and Mary Pope of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, March 22, 2004, at her home.

Katelyn was born May 6, 2002, in Texarkana. She attended New Testament House of Prayer, Ashdown, Ark.

Survivors include two brothers, Christopher Harmon and Austin Harmon of Texarkana; one sister, Taylor Pope of Texarkana; her grandparents, Dana and Bobbye Pope of Atlanta, Texas, Al and Sandra Mixon of Junction City, La., Clifton Williams of Genoa, Ark., and April Stow of Texarkana; her great - grandparents, Robbie and Flo Johnson of Magnolia, Ark., Doris Lee and Vera Coffey of Texarkana and Margie Williams of Genoa; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Terry SummerFand officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at 2301 Arkansas Blvd., Texarkana, Ark.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, Ark., 72203.

OMIE CLARDY III

NASHVILLE, Ark. - Omie Clardy III, 18, of Nashville, Ark., died Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Nashville.

Mr. Clardy was born Oct. 30, 1985. He was employed with Sonic and Family Life Center, Nashville, and a member of Church of Christ, Nashville High Jazz Band, Science Club and Quiz Bowl.

Survivors include his parents, Omie and Carmelita Clardy Jr. of Houston; five sisters, Chelsea Clardy of Little Rock and Jenea Clardy, Jenean Clardy, Brittny Sanford and Gennifer Evans of Houston; one brother, Kalil Evans of Houston; his grandparents, Omie and Dorothy Clardy Sr. of Center Point, Ark., and James and Sarah Sandford of Chicago; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Church of Christ with Joe Lasker officiating. Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery under direction of Nashville Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Omie Clardy III, Diamond State Bank, Nashville, Ark.

JACQUELYN MULDROW

HOPE, Ark. - Jacquelyn M. Muldrow, 54, of McNab, Ark., died Tuesday, March 16, 2004.

Mrs. Muldrow was born May 7, 1949.

Survivors include one son, Jerrand Muldrow of Flint, Mich.; one daughter and son - in - law, Taquanda and Cory Dixon of Lansing, Mich.; one aunt, Zelma Counts; two cousins, Judith C. Langley and Willie Hill; her mother - in - law, May Ellis; two special friends, Jane Nuby and Sheryl Newton; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Gravel Hill Baptist Church, McNab, with the Rev. Henry Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

CLAUDE KING

HOPE, Ark. - Claude E. King, 94, of Lewisville, Ark., died Saturday, March 13, 2004, in a Texarkana hospital.

The Rev. King was born Feb. 27, 1910, in New Boston, Texas. He was retired from Southwest Arkansas Development Council, former pastor of Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Prescott, Ark., a Mason, member of Union Hill Baptist Church and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby E. King of Lewisville; one son, Herman King of Lewisville; three daughters and one son - in - law, Gwendolyn and Gilbert Wilson of St. Louis and Ruby Hooper and Juanita King of Texarkana; one sister, Mable King of Texarkana; 17 grandchildren; 14 great - grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Hill Baptist Church, Lewisville, with the Rev. George Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Boyd Hill Cemetery, Lewisville, under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MARY ELLEN DAVIS

Mary Ellen Davis, 74, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in a local hospital.

Arrangements are pending with Richardson Hill Funeral Home.

MICHAEL VILLA

Michael Glen Villa, 27, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, March 12, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mr. Villa was born June 15, 1975, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a lightweight boxer and a member of St. James Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Michael Villa Jr. of Marble Falls, Texas; his parents, Santos Villa Jr. and Glenda Villa of Texarkana; six sisters, Shelia Ware, Sherry Courtney and Tonia Villa of Texarkana, Denice Parker of Frisco, Texas, Lavonne Martin of San Francisco and Glenda Mitchell of Houston; two brothers, Santos Villa III and Mark Villa of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. L.B. George Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

JOHN DUNCAN

MURFREESBORO, Ark. - John Dickerson "Dick" Duncan of Hot Springs, Ark., died Wednesday, March 17, 2004.

Mr. Duncan was born Jan. 9, 1923, in Center Point, Ark. He was a retired schoolteacher, a member of First Baptist Church, Elks and Masons and a World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Vanita Terrell Duncan; one brother - in - law, Victor Miller; two nephews, Dewey Miller and Terry Robertson; one niece, Vicki Wylie; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MATTIE THOMPSON

Mattie Thompson, 69, of Ogden, Ark., died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in a local hospital.

Arrangements are pending with Richardson Hill Funeral Home.

ROSA EASLEY

Rosa Lee Harvey Easley, 81, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Easley was born Nov. 8, 1922, in Miller County, Ark. She was a member of Boyd Union Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Easley; and one son, Phil Easley.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter - in - law, John and Mary Easley of Bryan, Texas, and David Lee Easley of Boyd, Ark.; one daughter and son - in - law, Nancy and Joe Bittle of Texarkana; one sister, Melba Johnson of Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great - grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Boyce Green officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at their home, 4044 Miller County Road 10, Fouke, Ark.

Memorials may be made to Boyd Union Church.

ELOISE GALLOWAY

STAMPS, Ark. - Eloise Galloway, 86, of Stamps died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in a Magnolia, Ark., hospital.

Mrs. Galloway was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Oak Grove, Miss. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Galloway; and two sons, Bobby Leonard Galloway and Graham Galloway.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Burnitt of Austin; two sisters - in - law and one brother - in - law, Elizabeth and Alva Williams of Stamps and Frances Graham of Hot Springs, Ark.; two granddaughters and grandsons - in - law, Sandy and Steve Martin and Lindy and Paul Jordan of Austin; and four great - grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Lakeside Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Turner officiating. Burial will be under direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 315 Church St., Stamps, Ark., 71860.

CLAUDE KING

Amanda Gay Nix, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Nix was born May 4, 1916, in Russellville, Ky. She was a retired personnel supervisor with G.C. Murphy and Kmart and a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Richard B. Gay of Texarkana; one daughter and son - in - law, Judy and Jerry Shaver of Greenville, Texas; one sister, Louise Hale of Evansville, Ind.; three grandchildren, Beth Nelson of Greenville, Steve Shaver of Austin and Craig Shaver of McKinney, Texas; and nine great - grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Texarkana Funeral Home Fuqua - Everett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mayfied, Ky., under direction of Byrn Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home.
