HOPE, Ark. - Darrell Wayne Gibson, 44, of Hope died Saturday, April 13, 2004, in West Virginia from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Mr. Gibson was born March 16, 1960, in Dallas. He was a salesman, a member of Providence Memorial Baptist Church, Perrytown, Ark., and an Army veteran.
Survivors include his parents, Moss Gibson of Breeding, W.V., and Evelyn Vess and Thurman Coffman of Hope; one brother, Cody Gibson of Hope; two stepbrothers, Dale Coffman and Randall Coffman of Valliant, Okla.; and one stepsister, Tammy Forbus of Valliant.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Providence Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. James Honeycutt officiating. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Horatio Cemetery, Horatio, Ark. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
JOANN CARTER
Velma Joann Carter, 71, of Greenwood, Ark., formerly of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, April 2, 2004, in a Fort Smith, Ark., hospital.
Mrs. Carter was born Jan. 21, 1933, in Miller County, Ark. She was retired from Texas Employment Commission and a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grady Carter, in 2003.
Survivors include four sons, Jackie Stanley of Alaska, Malcolm Stanley of Atlanta, Texas, Barry Stanley of Texarkana and Steve Carter of Greenwood; four sisters, Charlene McCasland of Nash, Texas, Nellie Fite of Dallas, Betty Kline of Dover, Ohio, and Jewell Follis of Omaha, Neb.; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
HALLIE BELL
MURFREESBORO, Ark. - Hallie Bell, 91, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, April 3, 2004, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Bell was born Nov. 14, 1912, in Hillman, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Curtis Popejoy; and one grandson, Wayne Popejoy.
Survivors include two daughters, Gearldine Rushing of Amity, Ark., and Louella Pierce of Mufreesboro; nine grandchildren; 17 great - grandchildren; seven great - great - grandchildren; and one great - great - great - grandchild.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Latimer Funeral Home with Stan Adams officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Home Cemetery.

Francesca Jeanette Todaro, 91, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Todaro was born March 30, 1913, in Mount Clair, N.J. She was a piano teacher and a member of Sugar Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Hank Todaro of Tyler, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 16 great - grandchildren; and one special friend, Margaret Chandler.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in East Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Herbert Wren officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

HOPE, Ark. - Audrey Rowe Hampton, 85, of Hope died Monday, April 5, 2004, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Hampton was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Clark County, Ark. She was a homemaker, a retired nurse and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Hampton.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Hampton and Donald Hampton of Hope; two daughters, Joyce Collums and Peggy Nivens of Hope; two brothers, C.J. Rowe of Hope and Bill Rowe of Texarkana; one sister, Cordelia Marcum of Hope; nine grandchildren; 19 great - grandchildren; and three great - great - grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with the Revs. William Tyler and Odis McKamie officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Honnoll was born Nov. 4, 1913, in Langley, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Church of Christ member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Chester Honnoll.
Survivors include one son, Danny Honnoll of Tuskahoma, Okla.; one daughter and son - in - law, Retha and J.B. Wilma Elizabeth Stueart, 84, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Stueart was born Aug. 18, 1919, in Texarkana. She was a retired businesswoman, a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Stueart of Texarkana; one daughter, Jo Ann Galloway of Texarkana; one son and daughter - in - law, Bill and Mary Stueart of Texarkana, Texas; one half - brother, William C. Mrs. Underwood was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Kanab, Utah. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Charles Staggs of Phoenix; two daughters and sons - in - law, Glenda and Ronald York of McCaskill, Ark., and Karla and Virgil Lerew of Concord, Ark.; one brother, Douglas Hume of Colorado; two sisters, Barbara Granger of Yalca Valley, Calif., and Shirlene Crain of Blythe, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Moss was born Jan. 31, 1918, in De Queen. She was a former Union Community correspondent for De Queen Bee and a member of Union Community Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Moss; and one son, Pat Lee Moss.
Survivors include four sons and one daughter - in - law, Gerald Moss and Freddy Moss of Murfreesboro, Frank Moss of Charlotte, N.C., and Walter and Vernice Moss of Houston; one daughter and son - in - law, Felicia and Stanley Foust of Clinton, Tenn.; three special friends, Sue Moss Gresham, Peggy Dean and Ruth Slaughter; 13 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four foster grandchildren; 24 great - grandchildren; two stepgreat - grandchildren; eight foster great - granchildren; and two great - great - grandchildren.
