Michael L. Walker Sr. December 1, 1939 - August 28, 2003

Michael L. Walker Sr. 63, of Mountain Home died Thursday August 28, 2003 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1939 at Leavenworth, Kansas to Roger and Helen Dyson Walker. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and had lived in Mountain Home since 1988 moving from Selma, Alabama. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Methodist.

Survived by: He is survived by his mother, Helen Cranor, of Gassville,AR; three sons, James (Kimberly) Walker, Dothan, Alabama; Michael Walker, Jr, Selma, Alabama; Steven (Ashley) Walker, Coffeeville, Kansas; two daughters, Deborah (Timothy) Puckett, Trinity, Alabama; Rebecca Walker, Selma, Alabama and six grandchildren; one brother, Gary (Dianna) Cranor of Gassville,AR; one sister, Tami (Randy) Myers, Boliver, Missouri.

Preceded in Death by: Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his Dad, Lawrence Cranor and one daughter, Rhonda Lane Leigh.

Funeral: Memorial services for Michael L. Walker, Sr. of Mountain Home will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 30, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council, Ozark V.F.W. Post 3246 honor guard providing military honors.

Burial arrangements: Private burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks.

Euna Rose Wallace 1915 - 2002

Euna Rose Wallace was born January 6, 1915 at Norfork, Arkansas the daughter of Walter Watley and Callie Chastain Watley. She married Jesse Wallace at Olathe, Kansas on August 17, 1937 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Kansas City, Missouri in 1971. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Cumberland Fellowship Presbyterian Church and Bible Memory Association.

Visitation: Visitation will be Friday, 5:00 until 8:00 at Kirby - Boaz funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, at the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Carl Cook and Reverend Gerald Jackson officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial will be in Livingston Cemetery in Stone County, AR.

Joseph M. Wallrab of Bull Shoals, Arkansas was born July 7, 1929 at Chicago, Illinois the son of Joseph Wallrab and Mae Vavrik Wallrab. He married Dolores Caughlin on August 15, 1983 at Las Vegas, Nevada and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Stickney, Illinois in 1996. He was a former Tool & Die Maker for General Motors. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Dolores of Bull Shoals, AR; a sister Marie Buchholz of Yorkville, IL; 2 sister - n - laws Marilyn Pinta and Cathy Grandalski

Melton G. Warford, Sr. 1913 - 2002

Melton G. Warford, Sr. of Mountain Home was born November 15, 1913 in Benton, Arkansas to Hurbert Lee and Delaine wilbanks Warford. He was a millwright with the Reynolds Alumimumn Company and a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. He moved to Mountian Home in 1996 from Trinity, Texas. He passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on April 19, 2002 at the age of 88 years, 5 months, and 4 days.

Survived by: 2 Daughters - Polly Warford of Mountain Home and Delayne Martin of Arlington, Tx. 2 Sons - Melton G. Warford, Jr. of Dallas, Tx and Jimmy Warford of Batesville, Arkansas. 5 Grandchileren and 3 Great Grandchileren, 2 Sisters - Mary Browning and Marian Gay both of Benton, Ar.

Funeral: Funeral Services ere held on April 24, 2002 at the Kirby - Boaz funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Remil layton and Rev. Brian Sheridan officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial was in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Robert Glenn Wasson 1920 - 2002

Robert Glenn Wasson was born Feb. 25, 1920 at Toledo, Ohio to Roland H. and Ruth E. Grose Wasson. He married Clarice Helen Langreder on Nov. 30, 1944 at Elmhurst, Ill. He was an Architect with Wasson and Associates. He passed away October 5, 2002 in Loveland, CO. at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 10 days. He was a resident of Arkansas from 1990 until 1992.

Loraine Watts 1931 - 2002

Loraine D. Watts was born February 15, 1931 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Joseph Dolgos and Irene Ward. She married Harold V. Watts at Wheaton, Illinois on June 15, 1951 and had resided in the Mountain Home area. She was dental assistant. She died at Baxter Regional Medical Center on September 8, 2002 at the age 71.

Survived by: Husband, Harold V. Watts, 2 Sons, Harold (Diane) Watts, Jr. of Rohnert Park, California and James J. Watts of Los Angeles, California; 2 Grandsons Ryan and Derek Watts; 1 Daughter Janice (Al) Kreisinger of Winchester, California

Emma M. Weber 1905 - 2002

Emma M. Weber of Mounain Home was born on May 4, 1905 at Altamont, Ill to rudolph and Elizabeth Yagow Moll. She married Glenn Weber on November 26, 1931 at Altamont, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She passed away on March 4, 2002 at Baxter Manor Nursing Home at the age of 96 years and 10 months.

Survived by: 1 son - Ron Weber of Mountain Home, 3 Granddaughters - Dorothy, Ronda, and Laura Weber all of Wheaton, Ill. 2 Great Granddaughters - Christine and Danielle Weber both of Wheaton, Ill. 1 Brother - Edwin Moll of Altamont, Il.

Funeral: Funeal Services ere held on March 7, 2002 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating.

Robert A. Weber November 14, 1914 - June 5, 2003

Robert Weber died Thursday, June 5, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was 88 years old. He was born November 14, 1914, at Mount Etna, Iowa, to George and Elizabeth Witt - Weber. He married Faye L. Felton on October 8, 1938 at Evanston Illinois. He was an Audio Engineer who worked at Universal Recording Corporation for 25 years. Robert Weber was an Army veteran of WWII. Robert Weber lived in Evanston, Illinois, and moved to Mountain Home in 1974. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. (Elks)and the American Legion. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife Faye Weber, one son: George and Karin Weber from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, one Daughter: Linda A. Cozad and Rick from Midlothian, Virginia, 3 Grandchildren Elizabeth and Thomas Weber and Matthew Cozad and 3 Great Grandchildren, David Cozad, Andrew Cozad and Chase Richter.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. till service time June 10, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Funeral: There will be a funeral service for Robert A. Weber of Mountain Home, Arkansas. It will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Kenneth Lampe officiating.

Burial arrangements: Entombment will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.There will be military Honors by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council, Alley - White American Legion Post #52.

Thomas Henry Weeks 1910 - 2003

Thomas Henry Weeks was born September 4, 1910 at Centerville, South Dakota the son of Henry and Ann Blegen Weeks. He married Iona Genevieve Conrad August 31, 1947 at Mitchell, South Dakota. Mr. Weeks had been a resident of Mountain Home since moving from LeMars, Iowa in 1982. Thomas Henry Weeks was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired civil engineer, a member of the V.F.W. Ozark Post #3246 and the American Legion Alley - White Post #52. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Thomas Henry Weeks entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2003 at the age of 93 Years and 21 days.

Survived by: His wife, Iona G. Weeks of the home And several nieces and nephews

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and one sister.

Carol Whala 1926 - 2002

Carol Jean Whala was born October 11, 1926 at McGill, Nevada the daughter of Earl Dean Smith and Hazel Ireta Jones. She married Richard Whala at Carson City, Nevada in October of 1963 and had resided in the Flippin area since moving from Modesto, California in 1996. She died on August 5, 2002 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Flippin at the age of 75.
