James Moore 1916 - 2002
James Douglas Higgins Moore was born November 26, 1916 at Nova Scotia, Canda the son of William Moore and Margaret Hart Higgins Moore. He married Sally Kenyon at Detroit, Michigan on September 15, 1962 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving Detroit in 1976. He served with the US Army during World War II and was co - ordinator of Swimming, Parks & Recreation in Detroit. He drove the school bus for Mountain Home School District for 10 1/2 years and taught swimming at Mountain Home Racquet Club. He was a member of Ozark VFW Post #3246 and AARP. Mr. Moore entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85 years.
Survived by: Wife, Sally Moore of Mountain HOme; 4 daughters, Anne (Mike) Lasch of Racine, Wisconsin, Bonnie (Bert) Sidaway of Holden, Maine, Heather (Brad) Crownover of Mountain Home, AR, Sandra (Dave) Naples of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; 5 grandchildren, Julia, Megan & Claudia Lasch, Eilidh Sidaway, Danielle Brousseau; 1 great grandchild Elizabeth Brousseau; several nieces & nephews

Rose Evelyn Moreno of Mountain Home was born February 18, 1910 at Cicero, Ill to Emil and Jeanne Kustad Kemp. She was a secretary for a Real Estate Office and a Catholic. She was married to Mario Moreno. She moved to Mountain Home in January 2001 from Chicago, Ill. She passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center on August 20, 2002 at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 2 days.
Survived by: Son - Gene Moreno (Nancy) of Mountain Home, 2 Granddaughters: Mary Ann Cammillo (Dan) of Nottingham Park, Ill. and Jeana Marie Vasquez (Joe) of Brookfield, Ill and 4 Great Grandchildren and 1 Brother: George Kemp of Gassville, Ar.

Morris on September 2, 1950 in Chicago. She was a homemaker. She moved to Mountain Home in 1991 from Chicago. She was a member of the Twin Lakes Lions Club, Presbyterian Church Choral. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Robert E. Morrison 85, of Gassville died April 2, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1916 in Rock Island, IL. He married Ruby Norgard July 13, 1946 in Dalueth, Iowa. He was a Mill Wright for John Deere Company for 43 years. He has lived in the Gassville area for 27 years moving from Moline, IL. He was a member of the Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church.

Mildred Mary Mosbeck was born January 16, 1928 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Lawrence and Mildred Chadwick McGuire. She married the late Harold Mosbeck at Chicago, Illinois on March 2, 1968 and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Woodridge, Illinois in 1982. She was a former accounting clerk for Mosbeck Industrial Equipment and a member of Rivercliff Golf Course. Mildred Mary Mosbeck entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 5 days.

Iris J. Nelson was born October 20, 1919 at Alvo, Nebraska the daughter of Archie Miller and Vida Swartz. She married Clarence E. Nelson and had lived in the Springfield, Missouri area since moving from Mountain Home in 1998. She was a homemaker and an avid bridge player. She died at Springfield, Missouri on June 19, 2002 at the age of 82.

He married Catherine Pasetti at Norwalk, Conneticutt on September 9, 1951 and had resided in the Cotter area since moving from Dallas, Texas in 1994. He served with the US Army during the
Korean War and was a steel fabricator for Nelson Fabricators for 25 years. He was a member of VFW #5742 in Cotter. He died August 23, 2002 at his residence at the age of 74.
