She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Mequon, WI in 1987. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Twin Lakes Golf Course and was an avid Bridge player

Survived by: She is survived by her husband - John, 3 sons - Stephen (Julie) Lourim of Coral Springs, FL, Timothy (Margaret) Lourim of Mt. Horeb, WI and David (Lynn) Lourim of Shorewood, WI, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 1 brother.

Funeral: A Memorial Mass for Helen M. Lourim, 81, will be Saturday, 10:00 AM, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Stan Swiderski officiating

Burial arrangements: Entombment will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or the American Cancer Society.

Daniel Liaromatis 1928 - 2003

Daniel James Liaromatis was born October 19, 1928 at Chicago, Illinois the son of Denises Liaromatis and Magaret Paytte Liaromatis. He married the late Geraldine Diescher at Aurora, Illinois on October 13, 1962 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Oswego, Illinois in 1987. He was a truck driver for Sears & Roebuck Company and served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime member of Ozark VFW Post 3246, member of National Rifle Association and Boys Town of Omaha, Nebraska

Survived by: 3 Daughters: Judy (Steve) Sawyer of Earlville, Illinois, Jami L Morrison of Montgomery, Illinois, Jenise (Scott) Treat of Cotter, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers George Liaromatis of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Nick Liaromatis of Nick Liaromatis of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; many nieces and nephews

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Wife, and brother Peter

Visitation: Sunday, August 10, 2003 from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M.

Funeral: Monday, August 11, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. military Honors by North Central Arkansas Veterans Council and honor guard by Ozark VFW Post #3246

Violet T. "Molly" Lox 1913 - 2002

Violet T. "Molly" Lox of Mountain Home was born August 21, 1913 in East Chicago, Ill. to Antoni and Rosa Andrealis Kaspadan. She married Charles W. Lox on Feb. 18, 1936 at Chicago, IL and was a housewife. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman's Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, Sewing, embroidering, and the animals on her farm in Bruno. She passed away at Care Manor Nursing Home on March 15, 2002 at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 24 days.

Survived by: 1 Son - Charles A. Lox of Emmett, Idaho, 1 Daughter - Joan Rogers of Berwyn, Ill., 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 sister - Betty Jones of Mountain Home.

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband, 1 Brother, and 2 sisters.

Funeral: Funeral Mass was at St. Peter the Fisherman's Catholic Church on March 19, 2002 with Father Stan Swiderski officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial was at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Mary Ellen Lundeen 1934 - 2002

Mary Ellen Lunden of Bull Shoals was born April 12, 1934 in Kewanee, IL to Leonard R. and Evelyn M. Forander Hepner. She Married Richard G. Lundeen on May 4, 1956 at Kewanee, IL and was a bartender. She moved to Bull Shoals in May 1994 from Kewanee, Il. She was a member of the Bull Shoals VFW Auxillary. She passed away on April 23, 2002 at the Twin Lakes Nursing Center in Flippin.

Survived by: 2 Daughters - Delores Cheek(Doyle) of Flippin, Ar. and Jan Desy of Gulfport, MS., 1 Son - Leonard Lundeen of Peru, Ill., 2 granddaughters and 4 great granddaughters and 1 Sister - Margaret Fellows of Mesa AZ and Ottawa, IL.

Preceded in Death by: Parents and husband

Burial arrangements: Private burial took place in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Kewanee, IL.

Bill Ray Lunyou Sr. 1927 - 2003

Bill Ray Lunyou, Sr. was born March 14, 2003 at Piggott, Arkansas the son of Alfred J. Lunyou and Daisy Mae Hicks Lunyou. He married Virginia Galloway at Grandview, Washington on March 4, 1961 and had resided in the Gassville area since moving from Bremerton, Washington in 1976. He served with the US Navy and was a silk screener and steel stamper for US Navy and Civil Service. He was a life member of American Legion and member of River of Life Assembly of God Church. He passed away in Mountain Home, Arkansas on March 14, 2003 at the age of 75 years, 2 months, and 14 days.

Survived by: His Wife: Virginia Lunyou of the home 1 Son: Billy Ray Lunyou, Jr. of Gassville, AR 1 Daughter: Frances Lunyou & husband Brian of Iowa 2 Granddaughters: Cortney Lunyou Lequitta Bickford & husband John 3 Great Granddaughters: Mariah, Katie and Rhea 1 Brother: Raymon Lunyou & wife Rhea of Toppenish, Washington 2 Sisters: Ilene Jones & husband Joe of Grandview, Washington Joyce Jackson & husband Jack of Chalias, Washington Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral: Graveside military Honors were held on Monday, March 17, 2003 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery with Reverend James Cox and Alley - White American Legion Post # 52 officiating.

Kenneth John Lykken 1926 - 2003

Kenneth John Lykken was born March 11, 1926 at Sioux City, Iowa to John and Minnie Anderson Lykken. He married Doris Joan Satchel on July 5, 1947 at Chicago, Ill. He was an electrician in the home construction trade. He moved to Mountain Home in March 1995 from Lombard, Ill. He passed away January 31, 2003 in Mountain Home at the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 20 days.

Survived by: Wife: Doris Lykken of Mountain Home, 3 Sons: Kenneth Lykken (wife Susan) of Port Ludlow, Wa., Keith Lykken (wife Darla) of Woodinville, Wa. and Kyle Lykken (wife Kathleen) of Oswego, Ill, 1 Daughter: Donna Henriksen (husband Tom) of Mountain Home, Ar. and 12 grandchildren, and 2 great Grandchildren

Funeral: Memorial Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2003 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas with Reverend David Kaplar officiating.

Robert Francis Lynch was born August 24, 1916 at Chicago, Illinois the son of John and Ida Lynch. He married Geraldine Bruchas at Chicago, Illinois in 1943 and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Chicago, Illinois in 1976. He served with the U.S. Army and worked for a Trim Construction Co.

Funeral: Memorial MAss at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church on January 11, 2002 at 10:00 with Reverend Dennis Wood as Celebrant.

William Thomson MacHarg March 14, 1914 - June 20, 2003

William Thomson MacHarg was born March 14, 1914, at Toronto, Ontario, Canada to William Thomson and Kathleen Wheeler MacHarg. He married Genevieve Madsen on April 16, 1960 at Chicago, Illinois. A resident of Lakeview since moving from Chicago in 1977, he was a WWII Marine Corps veteran and worked as an independent food broker. He was a member of the Ozark VFW Post #3246, the Masonic Lodge of Highland Park, Illinois and the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. William MacHarg entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 20, 2003 at Care Manor Nursing Home at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 6 days.

Survived by: He is survived by his wife, Genevieve MacHarg, of the home; two sons, William MacHarg, Jr. and Dennis MacHarg both of Chicago, Illinois; two daughters, Kathleen (Michael) Kwak of Honolulu, Hawaii and Kathy Frame of Bath, Maine; nine grandchildren; and two great - grandsons.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George.

Funeral: Memorial service for William Thomson MacHarg will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Bull Shoals United Methodist Church with Reverend James Barton officiating.

Grace Marion Mack 1918 - 2003

Grace Marion Mack was born April 21, 1918 at Waycross, GA to James R. and Grace Wrightson Arteberry. She was married to Velmar Mack on December 30, 1999 at Bull Shoals, AR. She was a resident of Bull Shoals, Arkansas since moving from Elkhorn, WI in 1973. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Hoevel - Barnett VFW Post #1341. Grace Marion Mack entered into eternal rest on February 24, 2003 at Sebring, Florida at the age of 84 years, 10 months, and 3 days

He served with the US Navy in the Persian Gulf and was a Telecommunications Engineer. He was a member of Herbology Society, Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 and a V.F.W. Honor Guard.
