Donald E. Heck 1926 - 2002

Donald E. Heck was born on October 29, 1926 at Chicago, IL. to Harold and Laura Ohrt Heck. He married June Gross on Feb. 4, 1944 at Chicago, IL. and was a Tool and Die Maker by trade and a member of the Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church in Bull Shoals, AR. He had been a resident of Lakeview, Ar. since 1990,having moved here from Wheeling, IL. He passed away at his residence on August 27, 2002 at the age of 75 years, 9 months, and 28 days.

Survived by: Wife: June Heck of Lakeview, 1 Son: Gary Heck of Streamwood, IL, 1 Daughter: Gale Carlson of Irvine, CA, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, and 1 Brother: Dennis Heck of Phoenix, AZ.

Preceded in Death by: Parents and 1 brother

Visitation: was from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Funeral: Services were held in the Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel, at 1:00 p.m. August 31, 2002 with Rev. David Mattson officiating. military honors were provided by the Ozark VFW Post # 3246.

Burial arrangements: Entombment was at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum

William F. Heinberg 1913 - 2003

William F. Heinberg was born August 13, 1913 at Chicago, IL to William B. and Emily Sass Heinberg. He was a baker’s assistant for Chicago Baker’s Confectioner’s Union. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Chicago, IL in 1984. He served in the US Army during WWII, and was a member of the VFW in Chicago for 55 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. William F. Heinberg entered into eternal rest on February 4, 2003 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 21 days.

Mary Louise Henry 1927 - 2003

Mary Louise Henry was born July 8, 1927 at County Line, Marion County, Illinois to Thomas Jones Adams and Emma Rozela Porter. She married John R. Henry, November 17, 1946 at Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mrs Henry was a Real Estate Broker and Office Manager of Blackburn Real Estate Company in Mountain Home, Arkansas, then the owner of Southland Real Estate. She graduated from Mt. Vernon Township High School in 1944 and graduated from North Arkansas Community College in 1990. She moved from Ft. Meyers, Florida in October 1969 and resided in Mountain Home Arkansas until April 1995. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. She passed away on August 17, 2003 in St. Petersburg, Fl at the age of years, 9 months, and 9 days.

Survived by: Survived by several cousins and many dear friends.

Preceded in Death by: parents and husband

Funeral: Graveside services for Mary Louise Henry of St. Petersburg, Florida will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Taglauer officiating. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, St. Petersburg, FL.

Marjorie L. Hermann 1915 - 2003

Marjorie L. Hermann was born February 17, 1915 at Park Ridge, IL to Carl and Nellie Oberg Davidson. She married Raymond O. Hermann on May 20, 1939 at Norwood Park, IL, and was a stenographer. She was a resident of Cotter, AR since moving from Wisconsin in August 1972. She enjoyed unusual rocks, astronomy and meteorology. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survived by: Son, Bruce R. Hermann and wife Margaret of Fredericksburg, VA Daughter, Patricia Rossiter and husband Robert of Pyatt, AR 2 sisters - Gladys Davidson and Dorothy Davidson both of Mountain Home, AR

Preceded in Death by: parents, husband, 4 brothers, 1 sister

Visitation: Visitation will be 2:00 until 5:00 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2003

Funeral: Funeral will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 6, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church

Lee Roy Hill 1906 - 2003

Lee Roy Hill was born July 14, 1906 at Xenia, Illinois to Charles E. and Hermie Blanche Almondrode Hill. He was a construction mechanic and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He lived in Mountain Home since 1990, moving from Norwalk, California. He was a dual member of the Robert Burns Masonic Lodge in Gainesville and the Bayou Masonic Lodge of Bakersfield, Mo and a member of Scottish Rites of Arkansas. He served as Chaplin for both lodges. Lee Roy Hill entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 1, 2003 at Care Manor at the age of 97 years and 17 days.

Survived by: He is survived by: one son, Lee Roy Hill Jr. of Mountain Home and one daughter, Betty Jo Grampe of Southgate, California, nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.

Visitation: . Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Kirby - Boaz

Funeral: Funeral Service for Lee Roy Hill, 97, of Mountain Home will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carl Cook officiating. The Robert Burns Masonic Lodge # 496 of Gainesville and the Bayou Masonic Lodge # 365 of Bakersville, Missouri will provide Masonic Rites.

Burial arrangements: Entombment will be at Kirby’s Tucker Mausoleum

Cleta M. Hill was born November 29, 1909 at Crescent, Oklahoma to John D and Cora F. Hamlin Mize. She Married Harvey Hill and moved to Mountain Home in 1985 from Yuma, Arizona. She was a nurse and a Baptist.

Survived by: 1 Son: Robert Hancock of Superior Az. 2 Daughters: Barbara (Mrs. Percy) Davis of Midway, Ar. and Elizabeth Hoover of Arp, Tx., 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by: Parents, husband,1 grandson, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.

SGT. Herbert Elton Hinesley April 18, 1925 - August 17, 2002

SGT. Herbert Elton Hinsley, 77, of Gassville died August 17, 2002 at his residence. He was born April 18, 1925 in Fox, Arkansas to Carl L. and Eva Holland Hinesley. He married Vaniece Hinesley October 19, 1946 in Mountain View, AR. He was a retired District SGT. of the Arkansas State Police. He served in WWII as Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225 F&AM, the Arkansas State Police Retirees Association, the Order of Eastern Star, Baxter County Democratic Club, and the Democratic Central Committee. He was a former Hospice of the Ozarks Board member. He started the Fox American Legion in 1947 and served as commander for 2 terms. He was a member of the Bethlehem General Baptist Church at Fox, AR.

Survived by: He is survived by his daughter Kim Vinson and husband Joey, of Mountain Home; Grandson Joey K. Vinson, Jr. and special friend Melissa Reese; Granddaughter Stephanie Vinson; 2 Great Grandsons Austin and Benton Vinson; Brother Hubert Hinesley and wife Ola Mae of Fox, AR; sister Esther Dexter and husband Clarence of Norwalk, CA; Sister in Laws Nancy Everett of Prim,AR and Rosa Lee Tyler of Oregon.

Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, wife.

Visitation: Visitation will be tuesday 12:00 till 8:00 P.M. at Kirby Boaz Funeral Home.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday August 21, 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Mountain Home with Reverend Bobby Ward and Dr. David Johnson officiating.

Burial arrangements: Burial will at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Paul Leo Hinrichs 1928 - 2002

Paul Leo Hinrichs died on January 4, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR and the age of 73. He was born September 12, 1928 at Renville County, Minnesota to George Hinrichs and Mildred Kapacek Hinrichs. He married Marie Johnson at Couer d'Alene, Idaho on December 28, 1973 and had resided in the Bull Shoals area since moving from Spicer, Minnesota in 1995. He was a heating & plumbing contractor for Hinrich's Brothers Heating & Cooling.

Survived by: Wife; Marie Hinrichs:sons Gregory Parfitt of Woodburn, OregonMarvin Hinrichs of Canton, Michigan and Roderick Parfitt of Juneau, Alaska; daughter Pamela Parfitt Bean of Anacortes, Washington; mother Mildred Hinrichs of Olivia, Minnesota; brother Edward Hinrichs of Lakeview, AR; sister Eileen Musio of Cathederal City, California; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchilden

Marjorie Anne Hirons, 86, died February 8, 2002 at her residence. She was born April 17,1915 in Ft. Wayne IN. to William John and Emme M. Myers McDonald. She was a Coil Winder for General Electric. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Indiana and the First United Methodist Church. She Moved to Gassville in 1973 from Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Survived by: She is survived by 2 sons: Budd and Joyce Hirons of Ribinsonville, MS and Terry Hirons of Atlanta GA. and a Special Care Giver Carla Haynes. 7 Grandchildren.

Lois Jean Hoffman November 23, 1920 - January 4, 2003

Lois Jean Hoffman was born November 23, 1920 at Racine, Wisconsin to Harold and Lydia Koehler Dale. She married Marvin Dale Hoffman on July 6, 1941 at Worthington, Minnesota. She passed away on January 4, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 82 years, 1 month, and 11 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church. She was an advid Sportsperson and loved playing cards with her friends.

Survived by: 2 Sons: David Dale Hoffman (Wife Frances) of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Robert Dale Hoffman (Wife Elizabeth) of Plymouth, Minnesota, and one Granddaughter: Lindsey Dale Hoffman of Lenoir City, Tennessee

He married Evelynn Prosken on August 6, 1949 at Chicago, IL. He was a resident of Elizabeth, AR since moving from Glenview, IL in April 1988. He was a retired school teacher. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and his Masters at DePaul University in Chicago. He was the fire commissioner for 8 years for the Hand Cove Volunteer Fire Department. He served in the United States Navy, and was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife - Evelynn Holland; his children - Rhonda Anderson and husband Wade of E. Dundee, IL, Raymond Todd Holland and wife Maribel of Roselle, IL, Terri Tulo and husband Bob of Elgin, IL, and Kelli Steffens and husband Stan of Elizabeth, AR, and 13 grandchildren Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes. Association.
