Marvin V. Reaves
June 24, 1925 - August 31, 2011
Marvin V. Reaves, age 86, formerly of Magnolia, Ar., passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2011, at Freeman West Hospital, following an illness.
Marvin was born on June 24, 1925 in Eagle Mills, Ar., the son of the late J.D. Reaves and Elsie (Word) Reaves. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Betty J. Stone on September 18, 1949 in Camden, Ar. Together they made their home in Magnolia, Ar. Marvin worked for the Magnolia Coca-Cola Company as the production manager, retiring in 1993. He was a past member and elder of the Jackson Street Church of Christ in Magnolia, and after moving to Joplin, Mo., he was a member 26th & Connecticut Church of Christ. After retiring he enjoyed serving as a volunteer for the Magnolia Hospital Auxiliary, and most recently at American Rehab Ministries of Joplin.
He is survived by one son, Robert Reaves and wife Angela, Joplin; a daughter-in-law Kathy Reaves of El Dorado, Ar.; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Sponaugle, Hamburg, Ar.; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Chris, and Elizabeth Reaves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Reaves in 2010; a son, Mike Reaves in 2006; and a brother, Lee Earl Reaves.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory, Joplin. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday evening at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia, Ar.
Michael R. Givens
August 31, 1961 - August 10, 2012
Michael R. Givens, age 50, of El Dorado passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home in El Dorado. He was born August 31, 1961 in Camden, AR to Ray Mack and Jeanetta (Dodds) Givens.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jeanetta Givens of El Dorado, one sister, Debbie Gifford of Wilma, AR; one aunt, Myrl Mann of Camden, AR and one uncle, Ronnie Dodds of Benton, LA.
A private graveside service was held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Mt. Home Cemetery near Star City, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Sandra Massey Smith
July 3, 1956 - July 15, 2012
Sandra Massey Smith a native of Texarkana, AR and a resident of Sarepta, LA passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at her home in Sarepta. She was born on July 3, 1956 to Aubrey H. and Ruby Douglas Massey. She was a member of the baptist faith, worked for Carrington Place Nursing Home for the past 8 years, and loved her dogs.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Richard James of Sarepta; brothers, Charles Massey and wife Diane, William Massey and wife Martha all of Shreveport, LA, John Massey and wife Betty of Bowie, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by parents.
No service is planned at this time.

Irene Waldron, age 63, of Rosston, AR. passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 in her home. She was born May 22, 1949 in Heidenheim/Brenz, Germany to Alfred Eduard and Gertrud n’ee (Lanksweirt) Friedrich.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wayne A. Waldron of Rosston, AR., two brothers, Wolfgang Friedrich and Gerheard Friedrich of Germany, one step-daughter, Meagen Waldron, two step-sons, Ashley and Shayne Waldron all of Texas and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Lovejoy officiating under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia, AR.

Mary Louise Voris
November 19, 1927 - January 22, 2009
Mary Louise Voris, 81 of El Dorado, died Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Courtyard Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
Born November 19, 1927 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas she was the daughter of George A. and Leo Parrott Robinson. She was a homemaker and had been employed as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years and was a member of Marrable Hill Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband of 56 years, C. W. Bill Voris, a sister, Dottie Mitchell, a brother, Sonny Robinson and a grandson, John Chadwick Voris.
Survivors include two sons, David H. Voris (Lou Ann), John C. Voris (Nancy), and a daughter Mona L. Romine (Sidney) all of El Dorado. Also surviving is a brother, Bobby Robinson (Dora) and grandchildren, Mally Romine, Justin Voris (Elizabeth), Jeremy Voris of Anchorage, Alaska and Madison Romine and a great-grandson Nash Romine and her Courtyard family of angels.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday at Arlington Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Ainsworth. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P. M. Friday in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the organization of the donors choice.
The family will be at the David Voris residence, 1226 W. Main.
Miles L. Linder
April 2, 1962 - July 29, 2011
Miles L. Linder, 49 of El Dorado, died Friday, July 29, 2011 of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Born April 2, 1962 in Luling, Louisiana he was the son of John Edmond and Betty Risinger Linder. Mr. Linder was an insulator by trade.
Preceding him in death along with his parents was a brother Mark Linder.
Survivors include a son, Troy Linder and a daughter Amanda Linder both of West Monroe, LA and a brother, John Matthew Linder of Des Allemands, Louisiana.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Antioch Church of Christ near Spearsville, LA.
The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 P. M. until service time.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Pauline Anderson

Pauline Anderson, age 88 of El Dorado passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born May 6, 1923 to James Claude and Callie Pepper Williams in Union County. Pauline was a homemaker, a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, E.J. Anderson, seven brothers, James, Lloyd, Edward, Joe, Brewer, Cleete and Allen Williams; three sisters, Blanch Templeton, Collie Burnside and Margie Lyons.
She is survived by one daughter, Debra Cates, two sons, Jimmy Anderson and wife, Sandy and Bobby Lynn Hux all of El Dorado, Ar.; one granddaughter, Kristy Lasater of Cabot, Ar.; two grandsons, Chris Stegall and Toby Hux both of El Dorado, Ar.; a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will 10:00am Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Olive Branch Cemetery with Bro. Billy Smith officiating under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8pm at Bailey Funeral Home.
