William R. "Bob" Selph
(December 24, 1936 - March 31, 2012)
William R. “Bob” Selph, Sr., 75, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in his home. He was born December 24, 1936 in Sparkman, Ar. to Isaac and Martha (Knight) Selph.
He was owner and operator of Selph Cabinet Company in Magnolia. Many homes and offices all over the Arkla –Tex are adorned with his craftsmanship, “For Those Who Know Quality” as Bob used to say. He was a member of Antioch East Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Louise Selph, one brother, James Eugene Selph and one niece, Debbie Moix.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita Selph of Magnolia, Ar; one son, Robby Selph and wife, Carrol of Texarkana, Ar; step-daughters, Monte Hill and husband, Jackie of Aspermont, Tx; Teri Ware and husband, Floyd of Homer, La. and Patti Gilmore and husband Carrol of Dubach, La; two grandchildren, Drew Selph and Trey Selph of Texarkana, Ar; one great grandchild, Maelee Ann Selph of Magnolia, Ar and numerous step grandchildren, two nieces, Robin Ralston of Atkins, Ar; Pam Dodson of Camden, Ar and his faithful companion, Corky.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Monday, April 2, 2012 at Antioch East Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Ar. under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia, Ar.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3-5pm at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Memorial may be made to Antioch East Baptist Church or Charity of Donor’s Choice.

Marzell Brumley
(August 27, 1928 - March 24, 2012)
Marzell Brumley, 83 of Calion, Ar. passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Oak Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in El Dorado. She was born on August 27, 1928 in Wesson, Ar. to the late Crawford C. and Mary Callie (Roberson) Hayes.
Marzell was a retired line worker for Air Guide Manufacturing of Miami, Fl. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Those preceded her in death were her parents, two sons, Johnny Brumley and Donald Wayne Brumley, five brothers, Donald Hayes, Julius Hayes, James Hayes, Pat Hayes and Wayne Hayes.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald Simms, James Brumley and Michael Brumley, eleven Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Scotland Presbyterian Cemetery, near Junction City with Bro. J.D Weido officiating under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Annie Lee Evans
(June 29, 1911 - April 17, 2012)
Annie Lee Evans, age 100 of El Dorado, went to sleep with her Lord and Master to await the great resurrection of his saints on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Timberlane Health and Rehab Center in El Dorado with her daughters and son in laws by her side. She was born on June 29, 1911 in Caledonia community to the late Robert Alexander and Mary Elizabeth (Dykes) Woodall. In 1962, Annie went to work in the Union Medical Center Nursery, spending the next ten years feeding, changing and rocking numerous babies during her career. She was a longtime member of El Dorado’s Seventh Day Adventist Church for over 73 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and great great- grandmother representing 5 generations of family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 29 years, Bernard Lavon “Buster” Evans; two sisters, Audrey Taylor and Ruth Harrison; three brothers, Olin, Millard and Howard Woodall; granddaughter, Tammy Renee’ Burns.
Those left to cherish her memory include; two daughters, Marion Rainwater and husband Julius, Charlotte Sullivan and husband Jimmy all of El Dorado; five granddaughters, Jana Nations and husband Tony of Longview, Tx, Rhonda Cardin and husband Les, Chantle’ Selman and husband Jack, Karen Williams and partner Gordon Hite, Dee’ Shana McKinnon and husband Gene all of El Dorado; one grandson, Cody Burns and wife Mari Anne of Praireville, La; six great granddaughters, Heather DeBlieux, BreAnna Williams and partner Chris Stroub, Jordan McKinnon, Kaitlyn Cardin, Mallory Selman and Amy Burns; five great grandsons, Cliff Nations and partner Ashley, Eric Nations and wife Elizabeth, Nicholas Burns, Evan McKinnon and Logan Selman; three great great grandsons, Karson DeBlieux, Kolton DeBlieux and Nathan Nations; one great great granddaughter, Payton Nations.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm service time on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Cody Burns, Les Cardin, Jack Selman, Chris Stroub, Gene McKinnon, Eric Nations, Evan McKinnon and Logan Selman.

Nettie M. Tribble
(December 27, 1915 - April 15, 2012)
Nettie Mae “Shorty” Tribble, age 96, of Stephens, Ar. passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was born December 27, 1915 in Paragould, Arkansas to John W. and Maggie Josephine (Seay) Smelser.
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She worked as the Librarian for over 15yrs. at Stephens Public Library.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Patrick C. Tribble, one son, James Lamar “Sonny” Tribble, one daughter, Patsy Lavone Hollis, four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, James Tribble of Stephens, Ar; one sister, Laura Miller of Stephens,Ar; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia, Ar.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at Bailey Funeral Home.
Ola Mae Thompson
(May 11, 1917 - March 31, 2012)
Ola Mae Thompson, 94 of Junction City, La passed from this life on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Timberlane Heath and Rehab Center in El Dorado, Ar. She was born on May 11, 1917 in Lillie, La to the late George and Mattie (Matthews) Ryals. Although everyone might not have known but, Ola was a very talented seamstress and quilt maker. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and very much enjoyed playing bridge, dominoes and scrabble. She loved being outdoors, whether it be gardening or going fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mattie Ryals, Husband, John S. “Pete” Thompson, two sisters, Omie Farrar and Maybelle Tillman, two brothers, Jesse Ryals and Neal Ryals.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, John Thompson and his wife Mitzi of Junction city, two grandsons, Jonathan Thompson and his wife Audrey of Baton Rouge, La and Justin Thompson of Junction City. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and friends
Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City with Bro. Nick O’Nale officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Monday evening at Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City.
Betty Sue Smith
November 2, 1937 - January 10, 2013
Betty S. Smith, age 75 of El Dorado, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at her home in El Dorado. She was born on November 3rd, 1937 in Emerson, AR to the late J.B. Blackwell and Martha V. (Evers) Blackwell.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ruel Smith and one son, Daryl Smith.
She is survived by one son, Bill Smith of El Dorado; two sisters, Geneva Keaster of Strong and Shirley King and her husband Earnest of Crossett; one brother, J.D. Blackwell of Hot Springs. She is also survived by her boyfriend J.D. and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery with her Brother in Law, Earnest King officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.

James Ray "Bud" Price
December 3, 1929 - August 26, 2012
James Ray “Bud” Price, age 82 of Junction City, passed from this life on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. Bud was born on December 3, 1929 in Pollack, LA to the late Bennie and Ida G. (Collins) Price.
Bud was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired lineman for Arkansas Power and Light, currently Entergy, after 40 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Junction City and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend whom will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Tina Henley and Jean Wells.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of sixty years, Virginia Price of Junction City; two daughters, Ann Culpepper and her husband Kenny of Memphis, TN, Debra Goodwin and her husband James “Tootlum” of Parkers Chapel; one son, James R. “Jimmy” Price of Junction City; four grandchildren, Scott Culpepper and his wife Ginger of Sioux Center, Iowa, Amanda Willig and her husband James of Hoover, AL, Jake Goodwin and his wife Brittni of Bryant, AR, Jill Goodwin of Parkers Chapel; four great grandchildren, Micah, Josiah and Hannah Culpepper and Carmen Ann Willig.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Junction City with Bro. Milton Wilson and Bro. Bruce Cardin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Junction City.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Bailey Funeral Home in Junction City.The Family will be at the Price Home at 304 South Myrtle in Junction City.
