William Stevenson
William Stevenson, 74, of Bella Vista passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Born April 14, 1943 in Waterloo, Iowa.
Bill lived the majority of his life in Des Moines, Iowa. He worked for Allied Insurance for many years in various positions.
Bill is survived by wife, Patricia, 3 sons, 9 grandchildren, and extended family.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, February 23rd, at Village Bible Church, 1591 Forrest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, 72715.
Patricia Ann Jones
Patricia Ann Jones, 79, of Bentonville died February 20th at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Billy Jones.
Survivors include: son, Shawn (Laura) Jones; daughter, Eaufaula Teehee, and many loving family and friends.
Marvin Scovill
Marvin Scovill, 74, of Bella Vista passed peacefully in his sleep Sunday, February 18, 2018. Born August 16, 1943 in Omaha, NE.
He spent most of his life in Omaha. He learned jewelry repair and became a master jeweler and mentor.
Survived by wife, Sandy, of 54 years, 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and extended family.
Ursula “Sudie” Mae Callen
Ursula “Sudie” Mae Callen, 96, of Rogers died Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Rogers. She was born June 11, 1921 in Missouri the daughter of Anna and John Marshall.
Sudie was a member of Bella Vista Community Church and spent 50 years working as a real estate agent. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and was an avid fisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Edward Callen.
Sudie is survived by one son; Michael Callen of Kansas City, Kansas, one daughter; Teresa Casida, and her husband Mike, of Bella Vista, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff of Innisfree Nursing Center for the care they gave to Sudie.
Memorials can be sent to NWA Shriner’s or Bella Vista Community Church.
Loraine Bruner
Loraine Bruner, of Bentonville died February 16 in Bentonville. She was born July 7, 1947 at Garden City, Michigan the daughter of Mae McNew and Frank Morse.
She stayed active working and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She has lived in Northwest Arkansas for approximately 50 years, after moving from Michigan.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, and three siblings, Raymond Morse, Leroy Morse and Ruth Magda.
Loraine is survived by: two daughters; Juanita Reeves and her husband James, of Bentonville, Eva Ginn and her husband Rob, of Bentonville, brothers; Louie Morse and his wife Kay, of Michigan, John Morse and his wife Tiffany, of Michigan, Ernie Morse, of Florida, sisters; Toni Carpenter and her husband, Jerry, of Michigan, Eva Woodham, of Indiana, Debbie Page, of Michigan, Linda Turner and her husband Roy, of Michigan, and five grandchildren, JR Kline and wife Allison of Gentry, Jacob Kline of Colorado, John Kline of Bentonville, Evan Robertson of Bentonville, Emma Ginn of Bentonville and Kaitlyn Reeves of Bentonville.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21st from 5-7pm at Waterway Christian Church of Bentonville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice.
Steven Patrick Maher
Steven Patrick Maher was born on March 10, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He moved to Titusville, Florida at age 2, with his parents John and Paula Maher and his oldest brother John David.
For the most part, Steve lived in Florida over the last 60 years. He graduated from Titusville High School in 1973, and completed a 4-year apprenticeship from 1972 to 1976 to become an electrician. Following in his father’s footsteps, he worked with the Space Program at Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center for the next several years.
Steve moved to Bentonville, Arkansas to live with his mother in 2008, after his father passed away in 2007. Steve passed away on February 12th at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, as a result of an auto accident in January.
Survived by his mother, Paula Brown Maher; Sons Steven Cody (Monica) and Nathan Jace; Brothers John David and Bob (Vicki), Sister Dena Mortensen (Gordy); Nephews Taylor John and Keaton Edward and Great Niece Acacia Rae. Also survived by several cousins and many close friends and colleagues from work.
A short memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17th at the Circle of Life Hospice Chapel in Bentonville at 2:00 pm.
Another service will be held in Oklahoma at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Rogers, Arkansas Humane Society, in honor of his beloved dog, Lucy.
Harold Wayne Stayton
Harold Wayne Stayton, 81, of Vaughn died Monday, February 12, 2018.
He served in the US Navy.
Survivors: wife; Denise Stayton, whom he married April 4, 1982, sons; Ricky and Jason, daughters; Linda, Debbie, Sherry, sister; Betty, many grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
Laura Lee Spoonemore
Laura Lee Spoonemore, 51, passed away February 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 24, 1966 in Gravette, Arkansas the daughter of Myrna Lynn and Frank Lundy.
She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Laura was preceded in death by her mother.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years Patrick Spoonemore, her father, one son; Joel Rogers and his wife Darcie Rogers of Bella Vista, two daughters; Erica Lundy of Sulphur Springs, Kerrie Rhinehart of Bentonville, two sisters; Sandra Brewer of Goodman, Missouri, Frankie Knudson and her husband Dave of Rogers, six grandchildren and many loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 21st at 2:00pm at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Steven Griffin
Steven Griffin, 62, formerly of Rogers died Saturday, February 10, 2018 at a skilled care center in Horsebend, Arkansas. He was born December 2, 1955 in Fairfield, Iowa.
He is survived by many loving relatives and a hosts of friends.
