Donald S. Rose
Donald S. Rose, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Sunday, October 09, 2011 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born October 24, 1934 in Village of Nyack, New York the son of Madeline Muise and Arthur Ellis Rose.
His career began as a New York State Trooper, then Captain with Burbank, California Police Department, then as Chief of Police in Reedley, California. His second retirement was as a Safety Analyst for the City of Santa Ana, California.
Donald enjoyed camping, motor home traveling, golf, watching soccer, history, and reading. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over six years after moving from Pensacola, Florida.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, one brother; Ellis H. Rose, one daughter; Jodi Monogue.
Donald is survived by: his wife; Patricia Rose, of Bella Vista, Arkansas whom he married September 2, 1978 in Burbank, California, one son; David Yokell and his wife Deborah, of Hillsdale, Michigan, one step-son; Michael Renuart and his wife Michelle, of Pensacola, Florida, two daughters; Donna Rose, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Dena Rose, of Folsom, Pennsylvania, three step-daughters; Veronica Rose Day, of Chicago, Illinois, Christine Renuart Rapa and her husband Luciano, of Rogers, Arkansas, Theresa Paulino and her husband Eddie, of Bentonville, Arkansas, fifteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be: Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Bella Vista Community Church.

Sammy Lee Williams
Sammy Lee Williams, 64, of Bentonville, died Thursday, September 15, 2011, at his home.
He was born January 19, 1947, in Rogers, to the late Glenola and Charles Williams.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Williams.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Marie Williams; daughter, Jodi L. Cunningham and her husband James of MO; three stepchildren, James Pendergrass, Charles Pendergrass and Jerri Lynne Pendergrass; one brother, Charles S. Williams and his wife Linda and one sister, Betty Weston. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Porsha Paul, Mercedes Cunningham and Tator Cunningham and one great grandson, Bently Paul.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2011, at Pratt Cemetery in Rogers.
Henry Louis Boren
Henry Louis Boren, 95, of Farmington, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at his home.
He was born January 2, 1916, in Cuervo, NM, to the late Nellie and Charles Henry Boren.
He was a welder and enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Leon and Jimmy Boren; son-in-law James and daughter-in-law Darlene.
He is survived by his daughter, Jullian Daniels of Farmington; two sons, Charles Edward Boren of Winner, SD and Billy Rodgers Boren and wife Linda of Grove, OK; three brothers, Kozell Boren of Long Beach, CA, Clovis Boren of Borger, TX and Vernie Boren of NM; two sisters, Ruby Hortness of Jasper, AL and Lottie Johnson and husband John of Fritch, TX. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Shirley Hess
Shirley Frances Hess, 84, of Rogers, Arkansas died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at her home. She was born February 4, 1927 in Cowgill, Missouri the daughter of Helen LuEllen Smith and Ralph Kennedy Jones.
She had lived in Northwest Arkansas for one year after moving from St. Joseph, Missouri. She retired from St. Joseph State Hospital as PAI.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, and one sister Doris Nadine Sturgeon.
Shirley is survived by: her husband of 66 years; Wilbert L. Hess Sr., of Rogers Arkansas whom she married in Troy, Michigan on November 11, 1944, one son; Wilbert “Bud” L. Hess Jr, and his wife Elaine, of West Jordan, Utah, two daughters; Pat Grubbs and her husband John, of St. Joseph, Missouri, Kathy Aerts and her husband Mike, of Rogers, Arkansas, one brother; James B. Jones and his wife Rhonda, of Martin, Georgia, cousins; Wanetta and Melvin Huxman, of Moundridge, Kansas, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Interment will be at a later date in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Missouri.

Terry Dean Wilkerson
Terry Dean Wilkerson, 51, of Rogers, died Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, MO.
He was born April 10, 1960 in Bentonville.
He enjoyed playing pool, reading, being outdoors and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Troy Wilkerson; and grandson, Walter Lee Fenton.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Jones and husband Billy of Garfield; son, Joseph Anthony Wilkerson of Bentonville; two daughters, Rebecca Lee Fenton and husband Benjamin of Salinas, CA and Terrie Sue Meppen and husband Andrew of Bentonville; brother, Cliff Wilkerson of Pea Ridge; sister, Shelly Webb and husband Mike of Pea Ridge. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Marie AnnaBeth Wilkerson, Theodore Roger Meppen, Margaret Isabella Fenton and William Anthony Fenton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Bentonville with Pastor Doug Leahman officiating.

Ruth Swallow Hale
Ruth Swallow Hale, 103, from Fayetteville, AR, died Monday, September 12, 2011, at Homestyle Assisted Living Facility, in Springdale, AR.
She was born January 21, 1908, at the gold mining town of Maitland, SD, the daughter of Bert and Ellen Gilleran Swallow.
She attended Spearfish Normal School, Spearfish, SD and Mankato Commercial College, Mankato, MN. She did secretarial work in SD, MN, IL, and OK, before retiring in 1975 from The Cooperative Extension Service at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She was a member of the Washington Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and did volunteer service at the Information Desk for many years.
She moved to Fayetteville in 1945 and is survived by a son, John Hale and wife Georgia, of San Antonio, TX, a son, Joe Hale, of Houston, TX and a daughter, Virginia McKimmey and husband Mike of Springdale, AR. She also had two granddaughters, Amanda Lott and husband Nathan, Katherine Hale and grandson Scott Hale and wife Allison and also two great grandchildren Steven Hale and Morgan Brothers.
She was a long time member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011, at 1:00 pm, at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, off Starr Rd in Fayetteville. There will be a luncheon to follow.
Cremation was directed by Epting Funeral Home, in Fayetteville, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1722 N. Starr Dr., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
Ethel Waggoner
Ethel Waggoner, 62 of Pea Ridge died on Friday, September 23, 2011 at home. She was born on March 20, 1939 in Paus Valley, OK to Thomas Franklin Sperling & Rosa Bell Miles. She is survived by one son, Tommy Waggoner of Garfield; one daughter Rachel Bolinger of Pea Ridge. Visitation will be Monday, September 26th from 11:00 to 12:00, graveside service will be at 2:00 pm at Hazel Valley Cemetery.
