Robert Lee Skaggs

Robert Lee Skaggs (June 30, 1927-June 6, 2018): Professor Emeritus School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Elder First Presbyterian Church of Rogers, Arkansas, Graduate of Rogers High School Class of 1945, Navy Veteren, Husband of Betty Jean Hale Skaggs, Father of Roxanna, Jason, and Benton, Grandfather of Jennifer, Kathrine, Jake, Samantha and Erica, Great-Grandfather of nine. Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Teacher and Friend of many died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of Wednesday, June 6th.

He asked us "to love and respect one another and to think of him walking in the woods with the birds and streams."

The service celebrating his life will held in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church, Rogers, Arkansas on Saturday, June 23rd at 4 pm. Reception to follow in the fellowship hall.

Pearl Agnes Brumfield

Pearl Agnes Brumfield, 66, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Pearl was born September 25, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Dorothy Agnes (Hibbard) and John Morgan Pollard.

Pearl is survived by her adoring husband of 45 years, Robert Brumfield; Her children, Jennifer and William Luce of Aurora, Co; Robert and Jessica Brumfield, Janis and Steven George, Renee and Mark MacCabe, Morgan and Krystal Brumfield all of Northwest Arkansas and 16.5 grandchildren; and her siblings Mary (Derrick) Mumford of Little Rock, Ar and John (Wham) Pollard of Maumelle, Ar.

Pearl was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served three missions with her husband. She shared her love of reading with those around her and was a light to her family. Her grandchildren were precious to her.

The services will be held on Thursday, at the LDS Church in Centerton, Arkansas. The viewing will begin at 9:30am, the service will be at 11am followed by a graveside service at the Bentonville Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.

Linda Marlene (Harper) Heathman

Linda Marlene (Harper) Heathman, 67, of Siloam Springs died at her residence on June 3rd. She was born September 2, 1950 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Lavina and Rev. Donald Harper.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Linda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gary Heathman, one son; Charles Heathman and his wife Devon, of Siloam Springs, two daughters; Gayla Reid and her husband Keegan, of Siloam Springs, Traci Shropshire and her husband Joseph, of Wichita, Kansas, one brother; Dennis Harper and his wife Theresa, Kansas, three sisters; Nancy Cloyd and her husband Roger, of Nebraska, Carol Small and her husband Dale, of Kansas, Ruth Cooper and her husband Lonnie, of Kansas, seven grandchildren and numerous friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611.

Adalynn Joy Sooter

Adalynn Joy Sooter, 4, of Rogers joined her heavenly Father on June 3, 2018. She was born April 28, 2014 in Johnson, Arkansas the daughter of Chandra and Matt Sooter.

Addy loved princesses, shopping, dancing, and singing. She loved being outdoors and playing with animals. Addy enjoyed spending time with big brother, listening to him read books and playing games. She was a very joyful little girl who brought an infectious happiness wherever she went. She was strong and determined and fought with so much grace. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents.

Addy is survived by her parents; Chandra and Matt Sooter, one brother; Jackson Sooter, maternal grandparents; Don and Christy Cole, paternal grandparents; Ann and Greg Sooter, and a host of loving friends and family.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 8th from 5 to 7pm at First Baptist Church Rogers, Pleasant Grove campus.

A celebration of Addy’s life will be held Saturday, June 9th at 2pm at First Baptist Church Rogers, Pleasant Grove campus.

The family requests that donations be made to the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas, or the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Gail Ann Allen

Gail Ann Allen, 61, of Bentonville died May 31st at her residence. She was born October 9, 1956 in Michigan to Rose and Alex Csereszyne.

Gail is survived by: daughter; Sarah (Dan) Dancer, grandsons; Caden and Seth, and a host of friends and family.

Jimmy Leon Mathenia
May 15, 1952 - January 5, 2015

Mr. Jimmy Leon Mathenia was born May 15, 1952 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Eugene Mathenia and Marie Bell Crews. He was a retired Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Mathenia departed this life on January 5, 2015 at his home in Hollow Rock, Tennessee at the age of 62.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother: Grandma Bell, two brothers: Larry Mathenia and Melvin Mathenia and one niece: Tina Williams.

He is survived by his wife: Sandra Mathenia of Menasha, Wisconsin, one stepdaughter: Kimberly Wallmuller of Neenah, Wisconsin, two sisters: Debbie Stout of Blytheville, Arkansas and Cathy Lucas of Hollow Rock, Tennessee.

The visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 12-2:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas. The funeral will follow at 2:00pm with Bro. Danny Rigney officiating.

Elvis Presley Robinson
August 26, 1956 - January 7, 2015

Elvis Presley Robinson was born August 26, 1956 to Evander Pete Robinson and Annie Mae Young. He confessed in Christ at an early age and was a member of New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Blytheville High School in 1975 and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Elvis was known to his family and friends by the name "Hook". He was a loving father to his children and adored his grandchildren. Elvis was well known and loved by many. He loved riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. That smooth walk, great sense of humor and the fun we all had with him will never be forgotten. Elvis will be remembered by his famous smile, stylish dress and his upright spirit.

Mr. Robinson departed this life on January 7, 2015 at the Methodist Hospice House in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 58.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Evander Robinson and Annie Mae Young, two brothers: Beverly Young and Tommy Young, and one sister: Betty Dixon.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, one stepson: Trevant Carter of Memphis, Tennessee, three daughters: Pleshette Robinson-Watson (Maurice) and Nikkita Robinson all of Memphis, Tennessee, Dashiya Scott of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, one stepdaughter: Katrina Evans of Blytheville, Arkansas, three sisters: Lovie Smith of Memphis, Tennessee, Annie Mae Stacker of Chicago, Illinois, Darlene Hayes of Jonesboro, Arkansas, one brother: John Murrell of Kansas City, Missouri, four special granddaughters: Zian Robinson, Jacqueline Evans, Zoey and Zyriah Watson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5-7pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas. The funeral will be Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00am with Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Echols officiating. The burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

December 6, 1933 - January 16, 2015

Visitation is Monday, Jan.19, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR.Funeral is Tuesday, Jan.20, 2015 at 1pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR. Burial will be in Ms.County Memorial Gardens.Visitation is 6pm-8pm on Monday.

Ethan Lloyd McFall
May 6, 1992 - January 24, 2015

Ethan Lloyd McFall was born May 6, 1992 in Southaven, MS to Terry and Melissa Maxwell McFall.

He was a land scaper, an avid duck hunter and of the Baptist faith.

Ethan passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR at the age of 22.

He is survived by his parents Terry and Melissa McFall of Tyronza, AR, two brothers Cody (Jessica) McFall of Tyronza, AR and Blake (Holly) Sutherland of Tyronza, AR, his grandmother Daphyne Holt of Gilmore, AR and a host of other relatives and many friends.
