Ethel Eleanor Moore
Longtime Oologah, Okla, resident and postal clerk Ethel Eleanor Moore died Sept. 10, 1999 at home. She was 84 years old.
Ethel was born Feb. 14, 1915 in Marble, Arkansas to Lester Cline and Margaret (Jack) Cline. She married
Fred Moore on March 4, 1940. Two children were born to this union, Marilyn Sue (Moore) Mayfield and Jerry Fred Moore.
Ethel taught school in Arkansas for six years and spent 29 years in the post office as postmaster in Arkansas and postal clerk in Oologah.
The family moved to Oologah in 1955 and built a farm west of town. Ethel was an active member of the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. She was an avid hunter and loved to fish.
Ethel passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, and her daughter, Sue.
She is survived by her husband, Fred of the home, son Jerry and wife Marcia of Talala, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Bill Cline of Tulsa OK sisters Doris Allred and Mary Lou Tice of Huntsville, and Dorothy Lawson of Pomona, CA She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services were held Sept. 13 with Interment following at Oak Hill cemetery in Oologah.
Alda Mullins
Alda Mullins, 97, died May 13, 2001 at Countryside Manor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rebecca Merall Stepp and thirteen brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Clero Mullins, of Oark, Arkansas. Two daughters, Dew Yates of Oark, Arkansas and Wilma Tate of Wichita Kansas. Three sons, Herla Mullins of Ozone, Arkansas; Lorn Mullins of Clarksville, Arkansas and Darious Mullins of Winslow, Arkansas
Eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers Gary Yates, Herla Mullins, Jr. Matt Yates, Mark Yates, Darrell Tate, and David Mullins.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 15, 2001 with Rev, Amos Pledger officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove cemetery near Pettigrew, Arkansas.
Mrs. Donnie Daphney Mullins
Mrs. Donnie Daphney Mullins, 86, of Huntsville, died October 1, 1999 at Northwest Medical Center at Springdale. She was born August 7, 1913 at Loy, Arkansas, the daughter of James and Sep Lorena Austin Parker. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Jackson Mullins on January 7, 1998, one grandson, Michel Lynn Bryant, one son-in-law, John D. Bryant, seven brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Bryant of Huntsville and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 4th in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with C.J. Jackson, Minister officiating. Interment was in the Wharton Creek cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Tim Stewart, Lynn Jackson, Dion Littrell, Tom Jackson, Jim Houchins and Mike Jackson, Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Ivan Box, Oren Austin and Buster Austin.
Irene Hixon Munson
Irene Hixon Munson, 76, of Little Rock, died September 20, 1999, she was a Baptist.
Survivors include: one son, Carrol Green of Little Rock; granddaughter, Laura Green; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Lena McDade of Benton and Ruthell Bryant of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill cemetery (Lono).

Arthur S. Murray
Arthur S. Murray, 76, of Wayton died Thursday, June 14 (2001) in Wayton, Arkansas.
The son of John and Mandy (Taylor) Murray was born on Aug. 29, 1924 in Murray, Ark. and was the husband of Inez Murray, also of Wayton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 18 at Wayton Baptist Church. Burial will be at Wayton Cemetary under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 17 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. {nct}
Ada Pearl Murrell
Ada Pearl Murrell, 103, of Springdale died June 2, 2001, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Aug. 24, 1897, in White Hall, Ill., to John T. and Ella Mae Castor. She was preceded in death by her husbands, the Rev. Howard Bushnell in December 1963 and the Rev. Roy Murrell in January 1986.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and the Rev. Herman Youngblood of Springdale; two stepdaughters, Thelma Harbison and Barbara Corter of Springdale; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Ed Murrell and Sharon of Kingston; three grandchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; 24 step-great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle. Burial will be at Friendship cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
Pallbearers will be Don Breeden, Ronnie Breeden, Donnie Leniger, Chad Leniger, Tony Clark, Dustin Clark and Danny Youngblood. {mn}
Kenneth Murrell
Kenneth Murrell, 70, of Springdale died October 14, 1993, at his home.
He was born Nov. 16, 1922, at Morris, Okla., the son of Roy Andrew and Edith Viola Reed Murrell Sr.
He served as pastor of the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle in Springdale, owned and operated Murrell House Moving Co. for 35 years and had served in the Merchant Marine.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel Lee Murrell of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Jeanette) Main of Springdale; three brothers, Roy Murrell Jr. and Melvin Murrell, both of Springdale, and Ed Murrell of Kingston; two sisters, Thelma Harbison and Barbara Corter, both of Springdale' three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle with burial in Friendship cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel of Springdale.
