Talkington, H.F., Searcy, March 1 - H. F. Talkington, 78 years old, died at Essex, in the western part of White county yesterday. He was the father of Rev. J M Talkington Jr., pastor of the Gum Spring Methodist church.

Talkington, W.P., Quitman, Jan 9 - The Rev. W. P. Talkington, pastor of the Methodist church, died here yesterday. The body will be taken to Gum Springs near Searcy, for burial. The Rev. Mr. Talkington was just commencing his second year at Quitman. He is survived by a wife and five sons.

Tallman, R.J., Fort Smith, April 8 - The funeral of R.J. ("Dick") Tallman, a well known figure in the early days of the Kibler gas field, was held at Van Buren Saturday. Mr. Tallman died Friday at Rogers. He was one of the pioneer drillers in this section. His last employment was with the McDonough Oil and Gas Company as a lease man.

Tankersley of Pasadena, Cal.; Mrs. Alice DeVilbliss of Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Beulah Monday of Balk Knob, Dr. J.C. Tankersley of England, Mrs. Luna Whiddon of Little Rock, E.G. Tankersley, Mrs. Ethel Welch, Mrs. Hal Beckham, and Miss Kelley Tankersley of Benton. Dr. Tankersley served under General Forrest for four years in the Eighth Mississippi.

Tate, John S., John S. Tate, 70 years old, died at 1:15 yesterday afternoon at the family residence, 915 West Capitol avenue. He was born in Somerset, Ky., and has lived in Little Rock for two years. He was a member of the Christian church and past chancellor commander of Crescent Lodge No. 60 Knights of Pythias, of Somerset. He is survived by his wife; by one daughter, Miss Mae Perkins Tate, and by four sons, Drs. A.B., Harry B. and V.H. Tate of Little Rock, and Crawford Tate of the Second Hospital Corps of the Arkansas National Guard, stationed at Deming, N.M. Crawford Tate arrived in Little Rock at 3 o'clock yesterday morning from Deming. The body will be sent this morning to Somerset by Healey & Roth for burial.

Taylor, C.L., The body of C. L. Taylor, Iron Mountain train dispatcher at Texarkana whose body was found near Scott's station Friday morning by a Cotton Belt train crew, was sent to Memphis yesterday by P H Ruebel & Co. for burial yesterday morning. Taylor was sent to St. Vincent's infirmary Tuesday night for treatment and disappeared the following morning. An inquest was held at Scotts after the body was discovered, the verdict being that Tylor came to his death from causes unknown to the Jury.

Taylor, Charles T., News was received yesterday by Ed Kuttner of the death Friday at Buffalo, N.Y., of Charles T. Taylor, formerly of Little Rock. Mr. Taylor was manager of the Capital theater when the late R.W. Hamilton was lessee, for about 10 years. During practically all of that time he managed on his own account, summer theaters at old Glenwood park. Seventeenth and Main streets. Abandoning it in 1904 when Forest park was opened, he took over the park theater. He was a veteran show man and before becoming a theater manager, he and Mrs. Taylor did a second sight and mind reading act.

F.E., The Rev. F.E. Taylor, 66 years old, a retired Methodist minister, died at the family residence, 801 Locust street, Pulaski Heights, at 11:30 Thursday night. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 10 this morning. The Rev. L.E.N. Hundley, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Services will be conducted at the grave by Magnolia Lodge No. 60, F&AM; and the Western Star and Pulaski Heights lodges. The Rev. Mr. Taylor was born in Ohio. At the age of 17 he was ordained. He was a missionary to Montana for the South Methodist church. He has been active for years in Masonic circles of Arkansas, holding many responsible positions. He retired nine years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Taylor; four daughters, Mrs. W.J. Cotton, North Point; Mrs. W.J. Angus, Cabot; Mrs. R.P. Cox of Arenta, and Miss Olive Taylor, who resides with her parents.

Taylor, Mary, Mrs. Mary Taylor, 85 years old, mother of Mayor Charles E. Taylor died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Fletcher, 1300 Broadway, at 2:40 yesterday afternoon after an illness of about 10 days of pneumonia.
Mayor Tylor, Mrs. Fletcher and other relatives were at the bedside when death came. Mrs. Taylor had been in good health untile the recent attack.
She was born at Kaskaskia, Ill., March 10, 1832. A few years after her marriage to Wiliam A. Taylor of St. Francis county, Arkansas, December 29, 1850, they moved to Memphis to make their home. Mr. Taylor served in the Confederate army through most of the war. He died at his home near Helena in 1875.
Mrs. Taylor with her two children removed to Little Rock, where she has since made her home. No other immediate relatives survive.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Second Baptist church. The Rev. Sam H. Campbell will officiate. The pallbearers will be: Active, Alderman C.E> Smith, W.S. Mitchel, Horace Knowlton, Frank B. Gregg, W.M. Lewis, H.K. Ford; honorary, Judge Carroll D. Wood, W.W Dickinson, Alderman Aaron Frank, W.E. Harrington, J.S. Hutchinson, W.W. Wagner, Dr. Milton Vaughan, James Lawson and A. B. Poe. Burial will be at Oakland cemetery. Offices at the city hall will be closed this afternoon, some of them all day.

Thaggard, G.B., Texarkana, June 25 - Mrs. G.B. Thaggard, aged 50, widow of the late George B . Thaggard, died yesterday at her home here. Death was due to cancer. Mr. Thaggard was murdered three years ago near his home by a highwayman, who robbed him of several hundred dollars. He was enroute home about 9 o'clock at night and was killed in two blocks of his home, being first beaten down with a club, after which his throat was cut. Eugene Mason, a white man, was convicted of the murder and given a life term in the Texas penitentiary. Later he escaped and when last heard from was in South America.

Funeral services will be held there tomorrow afternoon. He was a native of Wisconsin, and came here during the war as a soldier. After the war he married
a daughter of Judge Reed, at one time county judge of Jefferson county. Mrs. Thayer and six children survive. The children are Will Thayer of Illimo, Mo., Ed Thayer of Pine Bluff, Frank Thayer of Dexter, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Nels Nelson and Mrs. Fan Lemon.

Tipton, Mary B., Mrs. Mary R. Tipton, 74 years old, died at 10:45 last night at the family residence, 2107 West Sixteenth street. Mrs. Tipton was born in Oho and came to Arkansas in 1880. She is survived by her husband, William K. Tipton, three daughters, Mrs. W.B. Potts, 2107 West Sixteenth street; Mrs. M.P.Burns, Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. F.J. Barnett, Crookston, Minn; three sons, E.M., H.B., and C.L. Tipton, all of Little Rock, and 10 grandchildren. The immediate relatives were at the bedside when Mrs. Tipton died. The body is being held at the Healey & Roth parlors until funeral arrangements are completed.

Trevathan, George, Batesville, May 6 - George Trevathan, aged 46, manager and principal owner of the Batesville Guard since 1907, and well known throughout the state, died at his home here this afternoon, of tubervulosis.
Mr. Trevathan was born at Mountain View, Stone County, and had lived all his life in Arkansas, except two years spent in the southwest for his health. He had served in several public offices. He was at one time bookkeeper in the state treasurer's office, was secretary of the Senate in 1907, 1909 and 1911, printing clerk in the state Auditor's office, and held a temporary position in the office of the state Highway Commission. He was married
August 28, 1890, to Miss Nellie Hunt.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, six children, and several brothers and sisters. The children are Allen, Jared, John, Mary, Nellie May and Georgie Trevathan, Miss Nellie May Trevathan and his mother, Mrs. Arena Trevathan, live in Vernon, Tex. The brothers and sisters include: Mrs. Ulah Tibble, Mrs. Della Land, Ernest Trevathan, of Whichita Falls, Tex.; Stanley Trevathan of Vernon, Texas.; Bernard Trevathan of Elerendon, Tex.; and H.A. Trevathan of Salem. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon by the Rev. J.R. Stevenson, assisted by the other local pastors.

D.L., Pine Bluff, APril 8 - The Rev. D.L. Trimble, aged 66, a resident of Pine Bluff for about 60 years and formerly rector of Trinity Episcopal church of the city, died at his plantation home east of here late today, of acute cattarrhal gastritis. He was a native of Louisville, Ky., and his father, Robert W. Trimble, was the organizer and first rector of Trinity Episcopal church of Pine Bluff. He retired from the ministry several years ago. He is survived by two sons, Sam and Robert Trimble, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Mattie J. Ellis, of Mobile, Ala. The funeral will probably be held tomorrow afternoon.

Trimble, W.H., Jonesboro, May 4 - W.H. Trimble, a pioneer of Nettleton, where he was a grocer, died at his home there shortly before noon today as a result of the acidental discharge of a revolver about 8 o'clock this morning.
Trimble had been ill and slept late. As he arose from bed a 38 caliber revolver, which he kept under his pillow fell to the floor, and was discharged, the bullet striking him in the abdomen. He was alone in the room at the time. He was unconscious for some time, but rallied sufficently to tell of the accident. He was one of the leading Republicans of the section and was postmaster at Nettleton for several years. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

Trumpler, J.F., Mrs. J.F. Trumpler, 60 years old, died suddenly at 1:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her only daughter, Mrs. Walker Sanders, 2123 Battery Street. Mrs. Trumpler was a native of Silverrun, Ala., but had been a resident of Little Rock for many years. Also she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. William Yateman, Mrs. Thomas Gannaway and Mrs. Ben Linder, all of Oxford, Ala., and Mrs. Hugh Brownlee of Dallas, Texas; one brother, William Mattison of Oxford, Ala., and five grandchildren. Mrs. Trumpler was a leader in the work of the W.C.T.U. and Crittenton Home Circle. She was a pioneer member of the First Baptist church. Funeral services will be conducted from the home of her daughter at 4 p.m. today by the Rev. J.T.Early and J.D.Hamonds. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. The pallbearers will be: W.I. Trundle, James H., News was received here of the death at Perryville yesterday of James H Trundle, aged 78, a resident of Little Rock many years ago. Mr. Trundle left Little Rock to engage in banana raising in South America. About 15 years ago he returned to Arkansas and since that time had been making his home on a farm that he owned at Perryville. He was a Confederate veteran. His wife, Mrs. Virginia Trundle, who survives him, was a teacher in the Little Rock schools for many years. In addition he is survived by two sons, J H Jr., and T Trundle, who are in Guatamala; also by three daughters, Mrs. H L Stoddard of Little Rock, Mrs. H H Halloof of Stuttgart and Mrs. J M Montray of Wichita, Kan.
