BILLY MCGEE

Billy O. McGee, 73, died Aug. 8, 2005.

He was a Army veteran of the Korean War and had owned a farm equipment business for 31 years.

Survivors include his wife Rose Pickett McGee; three sons, Billy Kirk McGee and his wife Martie, Bobby Kent McGee and wife Jami and Gregory Keith McGee and wife Amy, all of Lonoke; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Doyne McGee of Lonoke, Carthal McGee of Texas, Carroll McGee of Ward and Dale McGee of North Little Rock.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Lonoke cemetery, arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MARY DANIEL

Mary Jane Watson Daniel, 78, of Beebe died Aug. 8, 2005.

She was born on June 3, 1927, in Beebe and graduated from Beebe High School.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Warren Wood, her brother, Lt. Richard 'Dick' Watson and sister-in-law Bernice Daniel Riggs.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband of sixty years, Merold Daniel; one son, Terry Daniel and wife Lanis of Maumelle; one daughter, Anita Jane Pfaffenberger and husband Kenny of Beebe; one sister, Lynn Linton and husband Jack of Benton; brother-in-law Royce Daniel and wife Edwana of Beebe; brother-in-law T. Harold Riggs of North Little Rock; two granddaughters, Courtney Whiting of Pine Bluff and Amanda White of Stuttgart; one grandson Ian Daniel of Beebe; two step-grandsons, Brad Simon of Austin, Texas and Morgan Long of Conway; one step-granddaughter, Tamara Roberts of Benton; two precious great-grandchildren, Rowan Berry and Ridge White; and her uncle, William Warren of Beebe.

She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Stoney Point cemetery.

The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Beebe.

MARY ANN BURROWS

Mary Ann Burrows, 53, of Cabot, claimed her eternal prize on Aug. 6, 2005 in Little Rock.

She was born on March 18, 1952 in Little Rock to Malvin and Helen Goode.

She worked in the insurance department at Jacksonville Medical Clinic for 15 years.

A special thanks to Dr. Dale Calhoon, Sharron Stephens, the nurses and staff at Jacksonville Medical Clinic, the doctors and nurses at Rebsamen Hospital, and UAMS.

Mary attended Bible Missionary Church in Cabot where she enjoyed working at church camp.

Mary and Larry Joe were married July 9, 1970 and enjoyed 35 loving years together.

She is survived by her parents, Malvin and Helen Goode; her husband, Larry Joe Burrows, Sr.; one son, Larry Joe Burrows, Jr. and wife, Stephanie; one sister, Sandra Rester and husband, Maury; one niece, Kristi Rester; father-in-law, Raymond K. Burrows and mother-in-law, Mary Smith; two grandchildren, Kinley and Clayton Burrows.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Evans and Ed Manis officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Carmel cemetery in Cabot.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.

DICOUS IVY

Dicous E. Ivy, 67, of Beebe was born Feb. 14, 1938, to Leonard and Edith Ivy, and died Sept. 9, 2005.

He is survived by one son, Ricky and wife Carol of Tucson, Ariz.; one brother, Bill Ivy and wife Jan of Beebe; two grandchildren, R. J. and Ashley; one great-grandchild, Jazlin; and four nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Antioch cemetery.

Arrangements are by Westbrook Funeral Home of Beebe.

ROBERT WRIGHT

Robert E. Wright, 74, of Beebe, was born Jan. 11, 1931 in Wiville, to Chester and Edith Wright.

He died Sept. 6, 2005.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Frances; a daughter, Susan Wilson and husband, Mike of Beebe, two grandsons, Jason and Matt Wilson both of Beebe; two brothers, Troy Wright and wife, Eloise and Benny Wright and wife, Doris all of McCrory; one sister, Irma Rhea Foss of New York and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sept. 9 at Westbrook Funeral Home with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Beebe Presbyterian Memorial Scholarship Fund, 907 W. College, Beebe, AR 72012, or American Cancer Society, 901 North University, Little Rock, AR 72207.

Arrangements were by Westbrook Funeral Home of Beebe.

JEFFERSON GUESS JR.

Jefferson Davis Guess, Jr., formerly of Cabot, passed away Sept. 12, 2005 at Bakersfield, Calif.

Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home (843-5816) are pending.

Amanda Baldwin

Amanda Dawn Kirtley Baldwin, 27, of Lonoke died June 9, 2007.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Bonnie Dillon, Marion Stone and Gerald Kirtley.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Baldwin; sons, Johnathon and Cody Baldwin; mother, Doris Cook; father, Charles Kirtley; sister, Stacey Kirtley; brothers, Keith and Allen Kirtley and grandfather Barney Dillon.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Boyd Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 14 at Faith Community Church with burial following in Concord cemetery.

Burnell Clemons

Burnell Clemons, 82, of Humphrey died June 11, 2007 at his home.

He was born June 6, 1925 to Issac Newton and Dora Clemons.

He was a retired barber of 50 years in Stuttgart and Furlow and a member of Humphrey Baptist Church.

In his spare time, he loved gardening, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Hubert Clemons and sister, Lucille Jones.

Survivors include his loving companion, caregiver and friend Janie Bowen; two daughters, Brenda Parker of Stuttgart and Debby Wade of Clarendon; son Donny Clemons of West Helena; sisters, Dorothy Harr and Erma Dale Graves of Stuttgart.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 13. The family will be at the home of Erma Dale Graves, 209 W. Third, Stuttgart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haiti Fund, Humphrey Baptist Church, Box 16, Humphrey, Ark., 72073.

Funeral arrangements are by Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke.

Joseph Rhodes

Joseph Doyle Rhodes, 21, of Lonoke died on June 10, 2007.

He is survived by his father and mother Luther and Gay Rhodes; brother, Luke and wife Amy Rhodes all of Lonoke; grandparents, Doyle and Cecelia Anderson of Lonoke, Elvin and Addie Hicks of Bald Knob; great-grandparents, Berlie and Dorothy Johnson of Bradford and Robert and Barbara Hoyle of North Little Rock; three nephews, Gregory, Zane and Seth Rhodes and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 at Boyd Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 14 at Brownsville Baptist Church, Hwy. 31 North in Lonoke with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

James Redding

James O. Redding, 71, of North Little Rock, was born Jan. 17, 1936, at Paris, to Omer and Bonnie Sharp Redding, and died June 10, 2007.

He was an Army veteran and was retired from the North Little Rock Municipal Water Department.

Redding was a member of Lynchview Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

He is survived by one son, Scott Redding of Paragould; two daughters, Lisa Henry of North Little Rock and Krissa Brister of Memphis; six grandchildren; one brother, Robert Redding, and Barbara Moore, both of Paris.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Moore cemetery in Paris.

Carl Markham

Carl David Markham, 59, of Furlow departed this life June 5, 2007 at Central Arkansas Veteran's Healthcare System.

He was born Feb. 1, 1948, to Didi Markham and Virginia Cook in Fort Hood, Texas.

He was a life member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars in Jacksonville.

Survivors include life partner Connie Green of Furlow; three daughters, Mary Ann Horton of Little Rock, Bonnie Gatlin of Bryant and Amanda Markham of Tyler, Texas; two sons, Frankie Markham of West Helena and Ronnie Peeks of Morrilton; three sisters, Paulette Conn of Texas; Janie Smith of Little Rock; Denise Grissom of Texas; two brothers, Frank Markham of Texas and Randy Markham of New Mexico; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Memorial services were held June 11 at Bingham Road Baptist Church in Little Rock.

Arrangements were entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 8821 Colonel Glenn in Little Rock.
