MARY KNAPP, 80
Mary Emma Knapp, 80, of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2006 in North Little Rock. She was born Aug. 30, 1925, in Centerville, Iowa to Ross and Ruby Walker McElderry.
She was a member of Maddox Road Baptist Church. Her father, her husband, Robert E. Knapp, a brother Jerry McElderry of Des Moines, Iowa, precede her in death.
Survivors include her mother, Ruby L. McElderry; son Doyle Wayne Knapp and his wife Diana, two brothers; Robert McElderry and his wife Elizabeth of Jacksonville, and Bernard McElderry of Moses Lake; two sisters, Marge Dullard of Jacksonville, and Beaulah A. Story, and her husband Ray of Shell Knob, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kathy Knapp of Rochester, Mass., Wayne and Jeffrey Knapp of Fall River, Mass., and Christopher and Benjamin Knapp of Rochester Mass., many nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday at Moore’s Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville. Interment will follow at Stanfield cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home.
CHUCK VINCENT, 43
David Charles 'Chuck' Vincent, 43, of McRae, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2006. He is survived by his mother, Sue Bevill Vincent of McRae, a brother, Martin and wife April of Beebe, three sisters, Rebecca Goodman, Donna Kennedy and husband David of Searcy, Julie Shelby and husband Michael of Senatobia, Miss., and six nieces, four nephews and one grandniece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Vincent and a brother Jordon Vincent. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe with burial in Antioch cemetery.
ROSA RAWLS, 39
Rosa Jane Rawls, 39, of Dahlonega, Ga., formally of Jacksonville, died July 2, 2006. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Rawls.
Survivors include her mother, Virginia Marshall of Jacksonville; a son, Nicholas Glaze of Austin; four sisters, Kathy Gore of Chaparral, N.M., Pam Rawls of Hot Springs, Marsha Strong of Cabot and Helen Boje of Jacksonville; four brothers, Michael Stewart of Jacksonville, Bert Wolfe of Hollywood, Fla., and Tony and Donald Stewart of Arizona.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. today at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Cabot. Arrangements are by Thomas Funeral Service in Cabot.
DALE RELINE
Dale Wayne Reline went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2006. He was a special son, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed.
He loved his family and friends dearly and would do anything he could for them. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Hazel Reline of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and his maternal grandparents, Alejandro and Concepcion Quintero of Bisbee, Ariz.
Reline is survived by his parents, Tom and Kathy Reline of Sherwood; his sister, Trina and husband Kevin Starnes of Gravel Ridge; his niece, Ali Isgrig of Sherwood; his nephew, Tommy and wife Amanda Isgrig and their son, Ethan of Sherwood; his best friend who watched over him throughout his long and painful illness, Sue Thompson and her children Bo, Cody and Dakota of Jacksonville, and a very special friend whom he loved dearly, Mary Sue Rowe and her children Scott and Stephanie Rowe of Jacksonville.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Chapel in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Sherwood's building fund, 2803 Kiehl Ave., Sherwood, Ark., 72120. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home.
JESSICA HIGLEY, 27
Jessica Dawn Higley, 27, of Jacksonville, died July 3, 2006. She was born July 8, 1978, in Searcy to Harold Dean Sanson, Jr. and Colleen Hurst McNutt. Survivors include her husband, Peter Higley, Jr. of Jacksonville, her mother, Colleen Hurst McNutt of Jacksonville; her father, Harold Dean Sanson, Jr. of Cabot; a brother, Harold Dean Sanson III of Cabot; two sisters, Jennifer Simpson and Michelle McNutt, both of Jacksonville; a grandfather, Harold Dean Sanson, Sr. of Jacksonville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Bro. Fred Reddock officiating. Interment will follow at Concord cemetery in Furlow. MARCELA GOMEZ, 24
Marcela Beltran Gomez, 24, of Little Rock passed away June 23, 2006. She was born Oct. 26, 1981 in El Salvador. Survivors include husband Walter, daughter Judith, son Nathan, sisters Erica and Karla, brother Mario, father Carlos, grandmother Nelly and many other family and loved ones. Services are private. SHEILA BULLOCK, 52
Sheila Ann Pruitt Bullock, 52, of Beebe, was born April 22, 1954, at Beebe to J. C. and Lillian Malcom Pruitt, and died July 1, 2006, at her home. She was a wonderful mother.
She was preceded in death by her father, and is survived by her son, Zachary and wife Ticie Bullock and her daughter, Kelly Bullock; grandson Brandon Bullock; and her mother, all of Beebe; five siblings, Bartis and Ellen Pruitt of Little Rock, Dewey and Barbara Pruitt of Cabot, Jean and Walt Mulholland of Fort Worth, Texas, Charles and Jane Pruitt of Beebe, Ronnie Pruitt of Beebe and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch cemetery.
FRANCES RANKIN, 75
Frances Ellen Rankin, 75, of Jacksonville, died July 2, 2006 in Cabot.
She was born March 7, 1931, in Marks, Miss., to the late Arthur and Flossie Lock Bennett. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Clark, two sisters and four brothers. She moved from Mississippi in 2003. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Grover of Jacksonville; son, John Clark and wife Lancy of Pearl, Miss.; brother, Charles Bennett and wife Donna of Memphis; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Interment will be in Lakewood South cemetery in Jackson, Miss. Arrangements are by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
JEROLD MULLOY, 62
Jerold Alan Mulloy, 62, of Jacksonville, died June 30, 2006. He was born July 23, 1943. He served as a captain in the Marines. He received the purple heart for injuries sustained in Vietnam and was a member of the Retired Military Association. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Wooten Mulloy of Jacksonville, daughters; Shannon Hickman and husband Michael of Ashland, Ore., and Shelly Mulloy of Jacksonville, his mother, Grace Mulloy of Yreka, Calif., brother, Larry Mulloy of Yreka, Calif., and grandchildren; Franklin LimeMa Mulloy and Kathy Mulloy. Private services will be set at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
MARY BURKS, 73
Mary Louise Burks, 73, of Jacksonville passed away April 30, 2006. She was born on Feb. 8, 1933, in Waverly, Kan., to Walter and Ruth Swenson. She married
James O. Burks on April 17, 1953.
Burks was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Alice Jones.
She is survived by her husband; two sisters, Gladys Brashere of Coffeyville, Kan., and Virginia Robinett of Tecumseh, Kan., and two brothers, George W. Swenson of Sun City, Ariz., and J. Elvin Swenson of Cleveland, Mo.
Her memory is cherished by four sons and a daughter and their spouses; Robert O. Burks and his wife, Sandy, of Conway, Dr. Ronald A. Burks and his wife, Debbie, of Lonoke, Richard L. Burks and his wife, Pat, of Cabot, Christopher Jones and his wife, Terry, of Cabot, and Susan McCormick and her husband, Capt. (USN) Sam McCormick of Virginia Beach, Va.
Close family survivors include 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville. She owned and operated The Hair Loft Beauty Salon in Jacksonville for many years. She was always a positive, happy force in her family's life. She will be sorely missed not only by her immediate family, but also by her extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 Loop Road in Jacksonville.
NICOLE PARSONS, 19
Nicole 'Nikki' Megan Parsons, 19, of Cabot passed away April 28, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chester Parsons. She attended ASU-Beebe.
Survivors include her parents, Craig and Barbara Parsons of Cabot; two brothers, Scott Parsons of Cabot and Jason Daniels of Little Rock; grandparents, Barbara Fomby of Texarkana, John Lowe of Cabot and Patricia Parsons of Little Rock; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and love ones.
A private service will be held for the family.
Arrangements are by Thomas Funeral Service 713 S. Second St. in Cabot.
STANLEY WAYMIRE, 56
Stanley W. Waymire, 56, of Beebe, died April 30, 2006. He was an employee of Union Pacific Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Waymire of Beebe; one son, Shawn Waymire of Carder Lake, Iowa; two daughters, Kelly Waymire of Beebe and Jamie Waymire of Carder Lake, Iowa; five grandchildren, Micah White, Stanley Waymire, Steven Waymire, Carson Kyzer and Katie Greenawalt; three brothers, Jimmy Waymire and Lyle Waymire of Omaha, Neb., and Jerry Waymire of Texas, and 24 nieces and nephews.

MILDRED SIMS, 80
Mildred Louise Sims, 80, of Cabot died April 30, 2006.
She was retired from Tillers Nursing Home in Oswego, Ill., and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Sims, Sr.; her parents, Erby and Ellie Smith; her brother, Edmond Smith; her sister, Betty Taylor, and a grandson, Christopher Lents.
She is survived by four sons, Richard Sims, Jr. of Mineola, Texas, Don Sims, Sr. and Edward Sims, Sr., both of Ward, and Jimmy Sims of Gatesville, Texas; one daughter, Shirley Lents of Ward; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Moody of Beebe and Madie Whittenburg of Carlisle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial at 2 p.m. Friday at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, Ill.

VERNON HALLUM, 88
Vernon B. (Papaw) Hallum, 88, went to be with the Lord April 29, 2006.
He was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church, a loving father, grandpa and friend.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie 'Mamaw' Hallum.
Survivors are his sons, Carroll and wife Mary Jane Hallum, Don Hallum, and Wayne and wife Jean Hallum; and daughter, Judith and husband Johnnie Tate, all of Lonoke; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke, with Interment at Lonoke cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Brownsville Baptist Church in Lonoke, the American Heart Association or Arkansas Cancer Society.
BOBBIE HEFNER, 73
Barbara E. 'Bobbie' Hefner, passed away May 20, 2006. She was born June 30, 1932.
She was a Presbyterian by faith. Surviving her are her three sons Ray and wife Karen of Beebe, Lynn and wife Lynn of Cabot, Keith and wife Missy of Van Buren; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dueward, and infant daughter, Judy Ann. Graveside services were held Tuesday at Antioch cemetery.
