GLENWOOD - The service for Pauline Williams Wright, 77, of Glenwood, who died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, will be 10 a.m. today in Glenwood First Baptist Church with the Revs. Palmer McCown, Earl Dunn and Richard Posey officiating.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Private burial will be in Mount Tabor cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glenwood First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 373, Glenwood, AR 71943 or any school library.
Arrangements are by Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Larry C. Galloway, 68, of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009.
Arrangements will be announced by Davis-Smith Funeral Home.
James E. Ambrose
James Edward Ambrose, 73, of Hot Springs, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, in a local hospital.
He was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Detroit, to Joseph and Florence Bullock Ambrose.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ambrose, of Hot Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, Cynthia and Ed Kroyer and Deborah Koster, all of Chicago; two brothers, Dennis Ambrose, of Arizona, and John Ambrose, of California; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
The service will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday in Olson Burke Funeral Home, Chicago.

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Ken D. Schultz, 75, of Hot Springs Village, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, in a Hot Springs hospital.
Born Nov. 20, 1933, in Rice Lake, Wis., to John and Theressa A. Dahl Schultz, he was a retired painter and drywall contractor, member of Christ Lutheran Church, founding volunteer for the Clinton Presidential Library, member of Ouachita Mountain Hikers Club and Audubon Society, former member of Harvard Moose Lodge, volunteer for Hot Springs National Park Service and a U.S. Army veteran. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harris Schultz and John A. Schultz.
Kathleen F. Phelps
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Kathleen 'Kay' Flood Phelps, 87, of Hot Springs Village, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, in a Hot Springs hospital.
Born Sept. 29, 1921, in Flint, Mich., to Michael James and Kathleen Veronica Connors Flood, she helped form the first women’s golf club in Hot Springs Village, was active in Hot Springs Village Theatre Group, sang at the DeSoto Club and was Catholic. She was predeceased by her husband, Delmar “Speed” Phelps, and one sister.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, George and Shirley Flood, of Hot Springs Village.
John Thomas 'J.T.' Gonzales
FAYETTEVILLE - Mr. John Thomas 'J.T.' Gonzales, age 50, of Fayetteville and Hot Springs, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, in Fayetteville, Ark. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at Parkway Memorial cemetery with Father Lincoln Dall officiating. Visitation will be today, Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway, Jackson, Miss.
Mr. Gonzales was born April 7, 1959, in Jackson, Miss. He graduated from Murrah High School in 1977 and Mississippi State University with a Business Administration Degree.

GLENWOOD - The service for Floyd Allen 'Mack' Cogburn, 82, of Glenwood, who died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, will be 2 p.m. today in Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Glenwood, with Brothers Eric Wehunt and Norman Kincannon and Charrisa Cogburn officiating.
Pallbearers will be Travis Cogburn, Roy O’Neal, Jason Cogburn, Franklin Wehunt, Roy Lee O’Neal and Donnie Cogburn.
Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Markham, Gene Cogburn, Johnny Yarbrough and Michael Yarbrough.
Burial will be in Fancy Hill cemetery.
Dorothy Neuenschwander
AUSTIN, Texas - Dorothy Neuenschwander died peacefully in her sleep on Aug. 6, 2009, after a brief struggle dealing with injuries from a fall. She lived a healthy 96 years and is now in a much better place.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15, 1:30 p.m., at Weed-Corley-Fish South, 2620 S. Congress, Austin, Texas.
Dorothy was preceded in death by Fred Neuenschwander, her husband of 54 years. She is survived by her sons, Fred Neuenschwander and Charles Neuenschwander; her daughter, Ann Wait; as well as four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Scott Edgil Marrell, 33, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at his home.

BISMARCK - Linda Linn Blocker, 56, of Bismarck, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in Little Rock.
Born March 19, 1953, to Leo and Altha Treat Linn, she was a program coordinator for Dayspring Behavioral Centers, Arkadelphia and Malvern, and member of Bismarck Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Blocker; one son, Billy Gene Wells, of Monticello; and one brother, Larry Don Linn, of Arkansas City.
The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bismarck Pentecostal Church with Brother Van Glidewell officiating.
Burial will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Eglantine cemetery.
Lee R. Estell Jr.
BENTON - Lee R. 'Butch' Estell Jr., 54, of Benton, formerly of Hot Springs, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Olga and Lupe Montalvo, of Benton, and three sisters, Liz Phillips, Lorrie Estell and Lisa Batterton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today in the church.

John W. Stratton
John W. Stratton, of Hot Springs, died Aug. 7, 2009. He was born March 31, 1929, in Seattle Wash., the son of John Thomas and Mary Diana Stratton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bill Stratton; a son, John Dana Stratton; and a grandson, Jason Sinclair Gibason.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Pat) Stratton, of Hot Springs; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl Sharkey and her husband, Bob, of Ozawkie, Kan., Patti Lee, of Hot Springs, Ark., Cindy Landes and her husband, Charles, of Loveland, Colo.; seven grandchildren.

Jay W. Petty, 76, of Hot Springs, who died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Hot Springs, with James Wilson officiating.
Pallbearers will be David Petty, Jimmy Petty, Dwayne Petty, Jackie Petty, Cris Rosier and Clint Goslee.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Donald Bodemann, Lester Dierksen Memorial Hospice staff, Cliff Caughman, Allen Kilby, David Chittum, Ronnie Howell, Gary Thomas, Gerald Bumgerner and Homer Petty.
Burial will be in Black Springs cemetery, Black Springs, with military honors by Thaddeus H. Caraway VFW.
