MOUNTAINBURG - Dolores Christine Mothershed, 33, of Mountainburg died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, in a Hot Springs hospital.
The body will be cremated.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

MOUNTAIN PINE - Tracy Lynn Perry, 37, of Mountain Pine died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at home.
She worked for Mountain Pine city administration and schl system and was a licensed practical nurse.
Survivors include one daughter, Amber Perry of Glenwd; one son, Tray Perry of Mountain Pine; one grandson, Braiden Robert Hatton; her mother and stepfather, Alberta and Angelo Cela of Hot Springs; one sister, Debbie Defibaugh of Richmond, Ind.; Bob Mathews of Mountain Pine; aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews.
The service was Nov. 26, 2002, in Richmond, Ind.
Burial was in Webster cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Jannie L. Smith
AMITY - Jannie Lou Smith, 54, of Amity died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002.
Born July 16, 1948, at Alpine to James F. and Connie Rinkle Hill, she was a member of Grace Mission Church.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Donald Smith of Amity; one son, Donald Ray Smith of Amity; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Kevin Tigue of Kirby; two granddaughters, Casey Smith and Katlin Tigue; her mother of Arkadelphia; one daughter-in-law, Donna Huffman of Amity; five brothers, Raymond Hill and Johnny Hill, both of Alpine, Curtis Hill of Arkadelphia, James Hill of Gurdon and Paul Hill of Amity; one sister, Joann Wade of Bismarck; nieces; and nephews.
The service will be 2 p.m. today in Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Glenwd, with Elder Gerald Ward officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kinney Rinkle, Dusty Skates, Dwight Palmer, Steve Lambert, Tony McGough and Donald Hill.
Burial will be in Hill cemetery, near Alpine.
Elvin Tarkinton
PLAINVIEW - Elvin Tarkinton, 54, of Plainview died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, in a Hot Springs hospital.
Born Aug. 8, 1948, at Oden to Leslie W. and Ermma L. Abernathy Tarkinton, he was predeceased by two brothers, Sherrell Tarkinton and Boyd Tarkinton.
Survivors include his wife, Jearldean Potter Tarkinton; one son, Danny Wayne Tarkinton; one daughter and son-in-law, Hettie Christine and Randall Watson; three grandchildren, Kinsey Malynn Tarkinton, Kirsten Watson and Christopher Alan Watson; three sisters, Teresa Gossett and Jeanette Wingfield, both of Oden, and Pauline Wright of Phoenix; three brothers, Carroll Tarkinton of Pencil Bluff and Louis Tarkinton and Doyle Tarkinton, both of Forrest Grove, Ore.; nieces; and nephews.
The service will be 2 p.m. today in Mount Olive Baptist Church, Oden, with Brother Kyle Coward officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Olive cemetery.
Visitation will be 9 to 11:30 a.m. today.

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Mass of Christian Burial for James F. Benson, 64, of Hot Springs Village who died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Officiants will be Monsignor Bernard Malone, celebrant, and Deacon Larry Lipsmeyer.
The body will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Catholic Church, Hot Springs.
Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home.

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Richard Joseph Boryca, 66, of Hot Springs Village died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, in a Little Rock hospital.
Born May 5, 1936, at Chicago to Joseph and Mary Bradco Boryca, he was a retired owner and operator of Boryca Printing Co. and Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pizzo Boryca of Hot Springs Village; two stepsons, Michael Bach and Jeff Bach, both of Winfield, Ill.; two daughters, Deborah LoSasso of Wheeling, Ill., and Carrie Condello of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Laura March of Blmingdale, Ill.; one brother, Robert Boryca of Plainfield, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in CedarVale Funeral Home chapel with Deacon Bernard Bauer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

AMITY - Melvin Buck, 72, of Amity died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003.
Born Aug. 3, 1930, at Alpine to Onis and Magalene Pittman Buck, he was retired from Bean Lumber Co. He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Stacy Kirksey.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Edna Ruth Johnson Buck of Amity; his mother of Arkadelphia; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Chris Kirksey of Amity; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Cathie Buck of Rockwd, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Sarah Buck Hackler and Elizabeth Leigh Buck; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Loy Faye Buck of Kirby and Gary N. Buck of Hot Springs; one sister, Vita Jean Franks of Arkadelphia; one niece; and one great-niece.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Glenwd, with the Rev. Ron M. Black officiating.
Pallbearers will be Geff Buck, Jason Boyd, Eric Smith, Ricky Johnson, Leon Smith and Jerry Shirley.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Matthew Hulsey and Glenwd Family Medicine staff.

Pallbearers will be Micah Morrison, Danny Larsen, Zac Sanders, Jon Sanders, Cab Sanders, Bill Driggers and Jimmy Driggers.
