The service for Mattie Faye Kauffman Edwards, 89, of Hot Springs who died Sunday, July 21, 2002, will be 10 a.m. today in Crestview cemetery with Chaplain Rose Poag officiating.

Arrangements are by Gross Funeral Home.

Ilor M. Horn
ANACOCO, La. - The service for Ilor Mae Horn, 90, of Anacoco, La., who died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, will be 1 p.m. today in Davis-Smith Funeral Home chapel, Glenwd, with Randy Satterfield officiating.

Burial will be in Valley Grove cemetery.

Robert L. Weyant
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - The service for Robert Leroy Weyant, 79, of Hot Springs Village who died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, will be 10:30 a.m. today in Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leland Lochhaas officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Lutheran Braille Workers.

Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Patricia A.A. Brown
MALVERN - Patricia Ann Adams Brown, 57, of Malvern died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, in a local hospital.

Born July 20, 1945, to Edgar R. and Edna Ramsey Adams, she was a homemaker and attended the Gospel Light Baptist Church, Malvern. She was predeceased by one daughter, Veronica Baker, and one grandson, Jordan Brown.

Survivors include five daughters, Pamela Baker, Leslie Wimsett, Rebecca Plaxco and Jennifer Brown, all of Malvern, and Donna Ostrus of Hot Springs; one brother, Virgil Adams of Malvern; three sisters, Mary Efird, Carolyn Beck and Diane Robbins, all of Malvern; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Gospel Light Baptist Church with the Rev. Jon Horton officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lee Baker, Charles Brks, Chris Fedric, Danny Beck, Ricky Adams and Ken Pennington.

Honorary pallbearers are Eugene Wright and Stanley Brown.

Burial will be in Harp cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church, 503 Oak St., Malvern, AR 72104.

Arrangements are by Atkinson Funeral Home, Malvern.

Mike Carlson
LARKSPUR, Colo. - Mike Carlson, 45, of Larkspur, Colo., formerly of Hot Springs, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, in Castle Rock, Colo.

Born Aug. 17, 1957, at Lawton, Okla., to David Oscar and Sarah Loretta McCoy Carlson, he attended NW Missouri State College, and owned and operated Lawn Doctor of Douglas and Elbert Counties.

Survivors include his wife, Vail Carlson of Larkspur; four sons, Aaron Carlson, Dillon Carlson, Jacob Carlson and Joshua Carlson, all of Larkspur; his parents of Beatrice, Neb.; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Eve Carlson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Steven and Paulette Carlson of Casper, Wyo., and Scott and Jara Carlson of Beatrice; his mother-in-law, Tomi Feathers Green of Fayetteville; two brothers-in-law, Wally Green of Abilene, Texas, and Tom Green of Seattle, Wash.; and one sister-in-law, Lizette Green of Nashville, Tenn.

The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Christ's Episcopal Church, Castle Rock, with Father Rick Meyers officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Associations of Colorado, 1600 Race, Denver, CO 80206, or the Denver Rescue Mission, Champa House, 2544 Champa, Denver, CO 80205.

Arrangements are by Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home, Castle Rock.

Ronald Forsythe
The graveside service for Ronald Forsythe, 56, of Hot Springs, who died Sunday, Oct. 13. 2002, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Glenwd cemetery with Brother David Smith officiating.

Arrangements are by Davis-Smith Funeral Home.

Delbert Henderson
MALVERN - Delbert Henderson, 48, of Malvern, died June 24, 2002, in a Malvern hospital.

Born Aug. 30, 1954, at Little Rock to Linna Mae Henderson, he was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was predeceased by one sister, Kristi Henderson.

Survivors include two brothers, Jimmy Henderson and Wayne Henderson, both of Malvern; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Toni Blunt of Little Rock and Sherri L. and Michael Jones of Malvern; and one uncle and aunt, Robert Martin and Ann Henderson of Malvern.

The service will be 11 a.m. today in Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. F.D. Newburn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Philip Robisson, Don Faison, Greg Johnson, Mike Jones, Joe Henson, Henry Mitchell and Glen Earl Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers are James Smith, Roger "Buddy" Mitchell, John Henry Lomack, Sam Sherman, Larry Curry and Willie Joe Jr.

Burial will be in Perla cemetery.

Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home, Malvern.

Carol L.B. Kn
Carol L. Buckley Kn, 56, of Hot Springs died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at home.

Born Sept. 23, 1946, at Newton, Iowa, to Leo and Bertha Kelly Buckley, she was a homemaker and employee for Thombert Inc.

Survivors include her husband, Ray "Butch" Kn of Hot Springs; one son, Kevin Kn of Oklahoma City; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Brad Dobesh of Olathe, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Community Heights Alliance Church, Newton, with Chaplain Merle Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Restland cemetery, Baxter, Iowa.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the church.

Arrangements are by Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton.

Martin Maily
Martin Maily, 73, of Hot Springs died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002.

Born Dec. 7, 1928, in Germany to Martin and Maria Maily, he was a tl and die maker, self-employed building maintenance man, member of Schuhplattler-Verein Edelweiss of Chicago, Edelweiss German-American Club of Hot Springs and St. John's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Lotte Maily of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Randy; two grandchildren, Nicole and Kadie of Hot Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Detlef and Annemie of Germany; nieces; nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. John's Catholic Church with Father Bill S. Thomas officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Sain, Jerry Way, Detlef Maily, George Reindl and Kuhn Tilli.

Burial will be in Morning Star cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Mavis Stevens
Mavis Stevens, 87, of Hot Springs died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, in a local hospital.

Born Aug. 15, 1915, to Olin Dewitt and Orley Stevens, she was Unitarian. She was predeceased by one sister, Laura Peaster, and one brother, Olin Stevens.

Survivors include one niece and husband, Sherry and Lanny Beavers of Hot Springs; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Stevens; one nephew and wife, Alan and Barbara Thurman of Hot Springs; and cousins.

The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Gross Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. A.J. Simpson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lanny Beavers, Alan Thurman and Christopher Thurman.

Honorary pallbearers are the doctors and staff of National Park Medical Center.

Burial will be in Crestview cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Opal I. Vaughn
Opal Irene Vaughn, 87, of Hot Springs died Monday, Oct. 14, 2002, in a local hospital.

Born Nov. 23, 1914, in Garland County to John and Sarah Ida Ellison Kelley, she was predeceased by four sisters, Elvia Crowder, Alice Bouches, Flossie Saunders and Mary Frick; and two brothers, Roy Kelley and Cecil Kelley.

Survivors include one sister, Gladys Stanford of Sacramento, Calif.; nieces and nephews.

The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Arrangements are by Gross Funeral Home.
