Marjorie Connelly
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE – Marjorie Connelly, 76, of Hot Springs Village died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in a Hot Springs hospital.

Born March 6, 1923, at Henderson, Ky., she was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Grace Pauley Sommers; and one son, Bill Connelly Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Connelly Sr. of Hot Springs Village; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Jan Connelly of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, John E. Sommers and Charles Sommers, both of Greenville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mass of Christian will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Rossi as celebrant.

The body will be cremated.

Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Albert Ecklund
Albert Ecklund, 84, of Hot Springs died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in a local hospital.

Born Feb. 13, 1916, at East Hazel Crest, Ill., he was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ecklund; his parents, Frank and Anna Sophie Larson Ecklund; and two sons, Albert “Corky” Ecklund and Ronald Lee Ecklund.

Survivors include one son, Lawrence Ecklund of Irvine, Calif.; one daughter, Susan Bailey of Hot Springs; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Craver officiating.

Pallbearers will be Alex Morgan, Scot Johnson, Ron Dyer, Michael Bailey and George Griepp.

Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park.

Marie Endrulat
Services for Marie Endrulat, 75, of Hot Springs who died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Larry Davis officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Odis C. Shaw
WEBBER FALLS, Okla. - Odis C. Shaw, 80, of Webber Falls, Okla., died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000.

Born Jan. 11, 1920, he was a retired carpenter and World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sybil Shaw; five children, Anna Beth Slocum of Wynne, Sarah Burchette of Norman, Okla., Sharon Borman of Mre, Okla., Ceburn Shaw of Lancaster, Texas, and Margaret Adams of Webber Falls; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Amos Shaw and Vernon Shaw, both of Jessieville; and one sister, Mary Ellie Shaw of Hot Springs.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Shiloh cemetery, near Jessieville, with Elder Ozzie Englebart officiating.

Pallbearers will be William Shaw, Rickey Mullins, Ronnie Shaw, Larry Shaw, Tim Shaw and Bob Shaw.

Arrangements are by Millsap Funeral Service.

Lazar Stanisic
Lazar Stanisic, 85, of Hot Springs died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at home.

Born May 30, 1914, in Bosnia, he was a member of St. Michael Archangel Serbian Orthodox Church, St. John’s Baptist Church of Bellwd, Ill., and Mse Lodge.

Survivors include his daughter, Draginja Lujanvoic of Czechoslovakia; two brothers, Cvijetin Stanisic of Australia and Savo Stanisic of Slovenia; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox Church, Libertyville, Ill.

Burial will be in Most Holy Mother of God Serbian Orthodox cemetery, Libertyville.

Local arrangements are by Gross Funeral Home.

William E. Thompson
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Services for William Ed Thompson, 88, of Hot Springs Village who died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Village United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tom Jerrell and David Prothro officiating.

The body will be cremated.

Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.

Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Ida E. Albert
Services for Ida E. Albert, 90, of Hot Springs who died Saturday, May 20, 2000, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens cemetery with Brother James Herrin officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Jettie Kenny, Dale Williams, Oaklawn United Methodist Church Sara Elizabeth Circle and Pleasant Hill Church of Christ.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to Phillipi Church of Christ cemetery Fund, Highway 84, Point Cedar, Ark.

Arrangements are by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Elbert B. Bryant
Elbert Buddy Bryant, 74, of Hot Springs died Saturday, May 20, 2000.

Born Oct. 5, 1925, in Hot Springs, he was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and awarded the World War II Victory Ribbon and American Theater Ribbon.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin D. and MonTina Sutton of Hot Springs; one grandson, Michael D. Sutton; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Herman and Mary Bryant of Hot Springs and Betty Bryant of Hayward, Calif.; nieces; and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are Danny Montgomery, Greg Batterton, Greg Rowe, Rick Thrash, Brett Guidroz and Dewayne Wilson.

Arrangements will be announced by Gross Funeral Home.

Chloie A. Chambers
KIRBY - Services for Chloie A. Chambers, 78, of Kirby who died Saturday, May 20, 2000, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Bobby Golden officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brad Losech, Gene Cherry, Don McKee, Dennis McKee, Richard Ray, David Ray, Kriss White and Ronnie Chambers.

Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie White and Buddy Roberts.

Burial will be in Bear Creek cemetery.

ARKADELPHIA - Christopher Clark Coppedge, 29, of Arkadelphia died Sunday, May 21, 2000, at home.

Born Sept. 15, 1970, in Arkadelphia to Donnie Ray and Cathy Lynn Clark Coppedge, he was a PolyCarbon Inc. supervisor, ham radio operator and attended Third Street Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Ernest Clark and Bill Coppedge.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Stewart Coppedge; one son, Trenton Coppedge of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Kara Beth Coppedge of Arkadelphia; his parents, Donnie and Jackie Coppedge of Hot Springs and Cathy Clark of Arkadelphia; two stepbrothers, John Burns of Dallas and Jimmy Burns of Phoenix; his grandmothers, Berniece Clark of Gum Springs and Wilma Coppedge of Locust Grove, Okla.

Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Gary Turner officiating.

Arrangements are by Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

MOUNTAIN PINE - Carolyn M. Covey, 60, of Mountain Pine died Sunday, May 21, 2000,

James E. Dunham
LONSDALE - James Edward Dunham, 87, of Lonsdale died Sunday, May 21, 2000.

He was a retired construction worker, member of Owensville Baptist Church and Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Dunham of Lonsdale; four daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Joe Merryman, Betty and Tommy Truelove and Francis and Wesley McFarlane, all of Lonsdale, and Lawana and Gary Grace of Mabelvale; four sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Wilma Dunham of Clinton, Rodger and Inge Dunham of Hope, Glenn “Catfish” and Susan Dunham of Hickory Ridge and Donald and Gloria Dunham of Granbury, Texas; two brothers, Pete Dunham of DeKalb, Ill., and Paul Dunham of Scotland; one half brother, Richard Dunham of DeKalb; three sisters, Zelma Helms of Bono and Ethel Lawson and Mary VanWinkle, both of Imboden; three half sisters, Sally VanWinkle, Sarah Jones and Clara Keech, all of Imboden; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Owensville Baptist Church, Owensville, with the Revs. Clarence Shell Jr. and Michael Taber officiating.

Pallbearers will be Lyndolph Ziegler, Johnny James, Larry Richardson, Harold Haley, Otis Reynolds, Conley Culpepper and Dewayne Webb.

Honorary pallbearers are Billy Garner, Hurlon Ray, Saline Memorial Hospital fifth flr nursing staff and Dr. Kirk Watson.

Burial will be in Owensville cemetery with Masonic services.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The family will be at 4575 Harris Road.

Arrangements are by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, Benton.
