Pearl Tankersley
WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Pearl "Henri" Tankersley, 88, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of England, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999.
Born Dec. 4, 1910, in Faulkner County, she was a homemaker and member of First Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, J.C. Tankersley Jr.

Survivors include two sons, James Carl Tankersley III of Hot Springs and John D. Tankersley Sr.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-England Funeral Home, England, with the Rev. Randy Nix officiating.

Burial will be in Mulberry cemetery, England.

Robert C. Adams Jr.

Robert C. Adams Jr., 52, of Hot Springs died Monday, April 19, 1999, in a local hospital.

A native of Hot Springs, he was a member of Sharon Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Tasha Adams, Tammy Adams and Sheila Adams, all of Hot Springs; three brothers, John Adams of Hot Springs, Dalton Adams of Los Angeles and Sterling Adams of Hemet, Calif.; six sisters, Elizabeth Witherspn, Edna Redic, Jessie Jimerson, Patsy Chinwah and Lisa Conway, all of Hot Springs, and Hazel Davis of Hemet; one aunt, Victoria Bunkley of Alexandria, La.; and two grandchildren.

The family will be at 213 West Belding.

Arrangements will be announced by Harris Mortuary.

Daniel G. Casey

JESSIEVILLE - Daniel Glyn Casey, 18, of Jessieville died Saturday, April 17, 1999.

Born Nov. 15, 1980, at Hot Springs, he worked for Whites Well Drilling and was Baptist. He was predeceased by two grandmothers, Lucille Casey and Henriette "Frenchy" Fouqueteau; one grandfather, Gerald O'Byrne; and one great-grandfather, George O'Byrne.

Survivors include his parents, Doyle and Geraldine Casey of Jessieville; one brother, Brian Casey of Jessieville; one sister, Amber Michelle Casey of Jessieville; one grandfather, Harold Casey; one grandmother, Jackie O'Byrne; and two great-grandmothers, May Casey and Helen O'Byrne.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home chapel with Eric Capaci officiating.

Visitation will be nn to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Hal C. Conner

SAN ANTONIO - Hal C. Conner, 81, of San Antonio, formerly of Hot Springs, died Friday, April 16, 1999.

Born April 1, 1917, in Bentonville, he was a decorated U.S. Air Force World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Conner; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Lee and Gay Conner of Houston; two grandchildren, Christopher Conner and Cary Crawford; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Crawford.

Arrangements are by Porter Loring Mortuary.

William A. Green

Services for William Aardweg Green, 72, of Hot Springs who died Saturday, April 17, 1999, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Ferguson officiating.

Pauline G. Jones

MALVERN - Pauline Gdman Jones, 87, of Malvern died Monday, April 19, 1999, in Houston.

Born Oct. 9, 1911, in Malvern to Conney H. and Elizabeth Reed Gdman, she was a member of First United Methodist Church Chancel choir, Wesleyan Sunday Schl class and United Methodist Women, Malvern Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Hot Spring County Historical Society, Ouachita Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Malvern Musical Arts Club, Woman's Club, Theta Chapter, Alpha Delta Kappa and International Honor Society for Women Educators and played piano for the Men's Bible class. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hilliard Jones, and two sisters, Hattie G. Chamness and Elizabeth Gdman.

Survivors include two sisters, Lucile G. Mason and Marcile G. Reid, both of Malvern; one niece, Betsy Mason McGuyer; and two nephews, Norman H. Mason and David C. Chamness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Smith officiating.

Pallbearers will be Bill Lindvall, Jack Exall, Glenville Rhodes, Chris Walthall, Mike Fikes and Joe Keith.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Brashears and Malvern Rotary Club.

Burial will be in Shadowlawn cemetery.

Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.

The family will be at 1413 Dogwd Trail.

Arrangements are by Atkinson Funeral Home.

Vernon Mann

Vernon Mann, 74, of Hot Springs died Monday, April 19, 1999, in a local hospital.

Born Aug. 6, 1924, at Lambert, he was a U.S. Army World War II and Korean War veteran who received the Silver Star and Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster and member of First Freewill Baptist Church and DAV. He was predeceased by his parents, Ethel and William Mann Sr.; one brother, R.B. Mann; two sisters, Marie Peden and Cortez Miller; and one half sister, Geraldine Stroud.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Mann of Hot Springs; two sons, John Owen Mann of Hot Springs and Jerry Vernon Mann of Marianna; one daughter, Peggy Ellen Mann of Allentown, Pa.; one sister, Helen E. Peden of Hot Springs; two half brothers, Bob Mann of Springfield, Ore., and Dr. Billy Mann of Kalamaz, Mich.; one half sister, Betty Cunningham; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Gross Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Roy Helms officiating.

Pallbearers will be VFW Post 2278.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Mascho, Hollis Mre, Bill Linder, Dr. Jim McMahan, Helen Knce, Bud Canada, J.D. McClard, Bill Bennett and Lindy Wharton.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery with military honors by Thaddeus H. Caraway Post 2278 VFW honor guard.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Joe W. Morris

Joe W. Morris, 79, of Hot Springs died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at home.

Born April 8, 1920, at Red River Valley, he was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie Morris of Hot Springs; six daughters, Sue Morris and Sunnee Nichols, both of Little Rock, Wadyne Jackson of Enid, Okla., Carol Hubbard and Vikki Jo Sparks, both of Hot Springs, and Anna Mae Stephens of Carson City, Nev.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Mre of Hot Springs and June Clark of Dallas.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Gross Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Wilson officiating.

The body will be cremated.

The family will be at 113 Baber St.

Earl Tillery

LONSDALE - Earl Tillery, 91, of Lonsdale died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at home.

Born Jan. 12, 1908, in Saline County, he was an oiler on heavy construction equipment and Baptist.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home chapel.

Burial will be in Medlock cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Roger E. Wahl

Roger Eugene Wahl, 44, of Hot Springs died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at home.

Born Oct. 8, 1954, at Enid, Okla., he was a member of Park Place Baptist Church Men's Bible class. He was predeceased by his father, Vernon Wahl, and one sister, Rebecca Sue Lietch.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Wahl of Hot Springs; one daughter, Laura Wahl of Hot Springs; two stepdaughters, Jeanne Lee and Ginger Straka, both of Hot Springs; his mother, Edith Brker of Seymour, Texas; one brother, Richard Wahl of Inglis, Fla.; four sisters, Roberta Brunelle of Monrovia, Calif., Patti Ann Petroski of Inglis and LaVona Hall and Sherri Martin, both of Norfolk, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Morning Star cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Howard officiating.

Arrangements are by Gross Funeral Home.

Ella A. Collins

Ella A. "Ttsie" Collins, 52, of Hot Springs died Sunday, April 25, 1999, in a local hospital.

The family will be at 200 Cottrel St.

Arrangements will be announced by Brandon's Mortuary.

Frank C. Draude

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Mass of Christian Burial for the Rev. Father Frank C. Draude, 76, of Hot Springs Village who died Saturday, April 24, 1999, will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Bishop Andrew McDonald of Little Rock as celebrant, assisted by concelebrating priests. A second Mass will be celebrated Thursday in Waterl at St. Edward's Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home.

Olen J. Fendley

FAYETTEVILLE - Olen Junior Fendley, 61, of Fayetteville formerly of Hot Springs, died Saturday, April 24, 1999, in a Fayetteville hospital.

Born Jan. 15, 1938, near Amity to Henry Olen and Ines Fendley, he was a U.S. Air National Guard veteran, former member of Civil Air Patrol, retired from Springdale Police Department and attended University of Arkansas Schl of Engineering and National Academy of FBI at Quantico, Va. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Henry and Lura Lambert and Walter and Anna Fendley.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores "Nan" Clark Fendley of Fayetteville; his mother, Ines Fendley of Hot Springs; three brothers, Stephen Fendley and Rodger Fendley, both of Hot Springs, and David Fendley of Los Angeles; two sisters, Ellen Howe of Hot Springs and Joyce Fendley of Pearcy; three grandchildren; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Services will be 10 p.m. Tuesday at Beard's Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in Fayetteville National cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ozark Society, Highland Trail or charity of donor's choice.
