Elizabeth Ann Kelley, 65 of Springdale died Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Springdale. She was born April 13, 1945 in Alliance, Ohio the daughter of Robert Thomas Wetzel, Sr. and Mary Strauss Wetzel.
She attended the Methodist School of Nursing. After graduating, she was employed as a registered nurse for 40 plus years. She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Fayetteville and was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Heather Fox of Springdale, AR, Jennifer Leise Davis of Dalton, GA; 2 brothers, Robert Thomas Wetzel, Jr. of Little Rock, AR, Todd Wetzel of Russellville, AR; sister, Pat Gowen of Florence, KY and 3 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4PM on Wednesday at Beard's Chapel in Fayetteville.
Beard's Chapel handled cremation arrangements.
The family requests that memorials in her name be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society 1100 N. University, STE 255, Little Rock, AR 72207.

Roger David Keeney, 72, of Mayfield, AR. died Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Springdale. He was born May 19, 1938 in Mayfield.
He was a water well driller by trade. He loved caring for his nieces and nephews, telling stories, fishing, woodwork and he loved people.
He was a member of the Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Thurman Keeney and mother Cynthia Cal Sharp Keeney and one brother-in-law, James Bragg.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Gayle Bragg of Mayfield and Vona and husband Kenneth Campbell of Hindsville; 2 nieces, Linda Bragg of Mayfield and Regina Mitchell and husband Steve of Springdale; 5 nephews, Kendyll Campbell and wife Lorie of Kansas City, MO., Keith Campbell of Hindsville, Kerrie Campbell and wife Lee, Randy Bragg and wife Cheryl and Larry Bragg, all of Springdale; 3 great-nieces; 5 great-nephews and 1 great-great niece.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Beard’s Chapel with Reverend Earl Dean Morris officiating.
The family will receive friends at Beard’s Chapel from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday.
Burial will be in Goshen cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Fayetteville.

Kenneth M.N. Stewart, 77, of Fayetteville died Thursday November 25, 2010 in Fayetteville. He was born April 11, 1933 in Alpha, MN the son of Russell A. and Leah Bunce Stewart.
He worked for both Central and Frontier Airlines and recently in the security industry; served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Washington Lodge #1 Masonic Lodge and was Past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star #495 and was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Thomas Stewart of the home; 1-son, Major Mark Stewart, USMC and wife, M.C. of Okinawa, Japan; 1-daughter, Betsy Gray and husband, David of Lexington, TN; 1-brother, Keith R. Stewart of Waukegan, Illinois; 5-grandchildren and 1-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville with Rev. Anthony Holifield officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

Wyatt T. Sikes, 64 of Fayetteville died Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Fayetteville.
He was born July 17, 1946 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida the son of Harvey Sikes and Macie Peters.
Survivors include sister, Von-Ceile Beckel, brother, Gene Sikes both of St. Augustine, FL, sisters, Hilda Pagett and Erlene Lee both of Pensacola, FL. and a special friend Caroline Smith.
He will be missed by many friends that he worked with in this area and fished with in Oklahoma.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1PM till service time at Beard's Chapel.
A graveside service will be 2PM, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Combs Chapel cemetery with Rev. Gary Lunsford officiating.

Larry Palmer 60, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away December 5, 2010 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale. He was born January 10, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of Leo F. Palmer and Audra M. Hobbs Palmer.
Larry grew up in Harrison, Arkansas, where he graduated high school in 1968 and was a member of the Harrison High School basketball team, which won a state championship in 1967. He attended Arkansas State University where became an avid duck hunter and guide. He was a member of the Arkansas Officials Association and was a longtime referee for high school and college football, basketball and baseball games. He enjoyed golf and was a member of the Springdale Country Club. He was a member of the Fayetteville Elks Lodge. He was employed by Central Mortar and Grout of Rogers, Arkansas where he worked in sales.
Visitation and a guest book will be available from 12 to 4 Thursday at Beard's Chapel in Fayetteville.
Larry had many friends and all are invited to a celebration of his life at 2 PM on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Elks Lodge in Fayetteville
Cremation will follow by Beard's Funeral and Chapel and Crematory with interment at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.

Stella Rae McMillan, 61, of Springdale died Thursday December 2, 2010 in Springdale. She was born September 18, 1949 in Springdale the daughter of Raymond Andrew and Anita Littrell Parson. She was a member of the Springdale Adventist Fellowship and the DAV.
She is survived by 2-sons, Mike Qualls and wife Rochelle and David Qualls and wife, Teresa all of Clarksville; 2-daughters, Leanne Price and husband, Kelly of West Fork and Kitty Bann and husband, James of Farmington; 1-sister, Carol Landelius of West Fork; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday December 4, 2010 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville with Pastor Gary Ford officiating. Burial will be in Mount Comfort cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Hallie Elizabeth Highfill, 94 of Springdale died peacefully in her sleep Monday, December 6, 2010 at Springdale Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Muskogee, OK on August 5, 1916 the son Minor and Olive Gowin.
She survived four sisters: Iopa, Ruth, Jesse and Mildred. She survived three husbands: Jimmie Highfill of Springdale and Muskogee; George Coffman, Jr. of Springdale; and Jack Rowe of Starke, Florida. She survived her son, John Patrick of Anaheim, CA., and both of her daughters, Hallie E.(Jr) and Linda Carol. Her son James resides in Springdale. She has five grandchildren: Jamie Highfill of Fayetteville, AR, Tracy Highfill of Scottsdale, AZ, Bridget and James R. Highfill of Anaheim, CA and Dale Fields of Washburn, MO. She has three great grandchildren: Augusta and Brice Fields in Missouri and Aiden Simkins in Arizona.
Memorials can be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 100 W. Emma Ave., Suite 248, Springdale, AR 72764.
Cremation arrangements are with Beard's Chapel of Fayetteville.
There will be no services.
Interment will be with her first husband and her daughters in Greenhill cemetery in Muskogee, OK.

Voyd Knox Hill 89, of Fayetteville died Sunday November 21, 2010 at Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks. He was born January 8, 1921 in Thorney, Arkansas the son of John Wesley Hill and Lillie May Faulkner Hill. He served in the United States Army during World War II in Italy and South Africa as a medic. He retired from Fayetteville V.A. Hospital as a orderly after 31 years of service.
Voyd was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Dean Short Hill, brother, Vird Ray Hill, sisters, Helen Hill Rogers and Goldie Hill Eubanks.
He is survived by his daughter, Wanda Hill of Lewisville, Texas; a nephew and several nieces.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Mt Olive cemetery.

Benjamin Dawson Bailey age 67 passed away at home Wednesday Dec. 8th, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Benny was born Jan. 21st. 1943 to Walter Gordon Bailey and Cora Emma (James) Bailey in San Bernardino, Ca. He was raised in Fayetteville and Springdale, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father Gordon and Cora Bailey. He is survived by five sisters and three brothers: Bonnie Finley, Rosalie Woods, Stella Poplin. Vernon Bailey, Billy Joe Bailey, Phyllis Rogers, Stanley Bailey, all of Springdale Arkansas, Darlene Beal of Tulsa Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews.
Benny was born with special needs and was the love and joy of his entire family.
He is going to be missed forever by all of his family and friends. They all know that God got a special Angel.
The family wants to thank the staff of Saint Francis Hospice of Tulsa Oklahoma for all of their loving care that they gave our loved one.
Funeral service will be 2PM, Friday December 10, 2010 at Beard's Chapel with burial to follow in Brentwood cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7PM at Beard's Chapel.

Tom C. Faubus, 86 of Farmington died Friday, December 10, 2010 in Fayetteville.
He was born December 23, 1923 in Delaney, Arkansas the son of John M. Faubus and Lona Newlin.
He married
the former Marie Hankins on December 27, 1947 in Fayetteville; and, was employed by the State Highway Department as a Concrete and Carpenter finisher for 35 years. He served in the US Army.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Marie Faubus of the home; daughter, Virginia and her husband, Calvin Stewart of Fayetteville; son, Bill and his wife, Kathy Faubus of Farmington; sister, Sue Hopper of Wichita, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchidlren.
Graveside service will be 11AM, Monday, December 13, 2010 at Walnut Grove cemetery at Crosses, AR with Reverend Ray Shackelford officiating under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
No visitation is scheduled.
