Amanda Gail Hollingsworth, loving mother, 32, of Elkins died Saturday February 20, 2010 in Elkins. She was born March 6, 1977 in Fayetteville the daughter of Ronald and Sheila Alderson Williams. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, R.D. Williams, grandparents, J.R. and Gladys Alderson and Curtis Williams and uncle, Ricky Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Hollingsworth of the home; her children, Julia Paige, Natalie Kate and Keith Ryan Hollingsworth also of the home; her mother, Shelia Williams of Delaney; 1-brother, Travis Williams of Delaney and niece, Emma Williams; her grandmother, Dorothy Williams of Delaney.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2010 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with, Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Brannon Mountain cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 - 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Goldie Bell Hopper, 95, of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday November 20, 2009 in Fayetteville. She was born July 10, 1914 in the Mount Olive Community the daughter of Robert M. and Chloe Counts Bell.
She was a member of the Church of God in Alabama City, AL and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law Donald and Sue Hopper, granddaughters, Sheila Pergeson, Sabrina Hopper and husband, Rick and great-grandson, Orey Scott Hopper.
She is survived by her children, Dian Holmes and husband, Dudley of Fayetteville, Priscilla Pergeson and husband, Robert of Prairie Grove and Dan Hopper and wife, Joyce of Fayetteville; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olive cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 at the funeral home.

Colby Zavier Parrish, infant son of Darrell Parrish and Michelle Leach Parrish of Farmington died Tuesday, November 10, 2009.
It is with great sadness and joy that the Parrish family releases their little butterfly to fly home to our father in heaven. After being born at 12:40PM on Tuesday, Colby Parrish passed nearly an hour later at 1:35PM.
Colby leaves behind an extensive network of family and friends who love this tiny angel very much. Without taking a single breath, Colby touched the lives of so many people, forever changing their souls. He was a servant of a glorious God, and he performed his tasks to perfection.
Colby is survived by his parents; 2 brothers, Darious and Jase Parrish; 4 sisters, Charlie Barron-Parrish Skie Parrish, Kacie Barron-Parrish, Destini Parrish all of Farmington; grandparents, Louis and LaGena Hester of Bella Vista and Larry and Gloria leach of Fayetteville.
Funeral service will be 1:00PM, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Prairie Grove Christian Church with Pastor Josh Vickey officiating. Burial will follow in Farmington cemetery under the direction of Beads Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the fund that is set up at any Arvest Bank under Colby Parrish’s name.

Gerry Ann Rountree Ragland, 88, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.
She was born and educated in Pine Bluff, Ark., where she married
and raised five children.
She was an active member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Pine Bluff, serving as a deaconess, board member, Sunday school teacher and youth group leader, as well as serving on various state-wide church committees.
Professionally, she held several clerical positions, including a wartime civilian post with the Pine Bluff Arsenal, where she met her future husband, and later with the Kelly agency. She also was an Avon representative for several years. She enjoyed handicrafts, music and spending time with her family. She and her husband made their home in Fayetteville in 1987.
She is survived by a daughter, Josie Grimmett of Sundance, Wyo.; sons the Rev. Charles Ragland of Claremore, Okla., Clyde Ragland of Fayetteville, Ark., and Don Ragland of Los Angeles, Calif., all formerly of Pine Bluff; a sister, Winifred Rogers, of Aiea, Hawaii, formerly of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert L. 'Bob' Ragland of Fayetteville, and a daughter, Gail Patterson of Houston, Texas, both formerly of Pine Bluff.
Cremation was by Beard’s Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville. A memorial service is pending. Memorial offerings to the Butterfield Trail Village Foundation in Fayetteville are welcome.

Sharon E. Sanders, 60, of Springdale died Thursday, December 24, 2009 in Springdale. She was born November 11, 1949 in Anitcoh, CA, the daughter of Johnny and Doris Morgan Whiteley.
She was a supervisor for Superior Linens for 25 years. She was a member of Springdale United Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Sanders of the home; two children, Donnie Sanders and wife Rhonda of Springdale; Angelia Walker of Springdale; 1-brother, Kenny Whiteley of Green Forest; 2-sisters, Marilyn Wood of Springdale and Helen Vandergriff of Berryville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday December 29, 2009 at the Elkins Full Gospel Church with the Reverends Ray Shackelford and Mark Wood officiating.
Burial will be in the Brannon Mountain cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

Charles 'Chuck' Hayes Thurston, 91, of Farmington died Tuesday February 9, 2010 in Fayetteville. He was born May 11, 1918 in Antioch, Arkansas the son of Emmett Lansing and Ida Belle Moore Thurston.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II, attended Zion Christian Union Church and formerly attended Entiat Friends Church in Washington for 32 years.
He is survived by his wife, Cleo Collins Thurston of the home whom he married
, March 12, 1949 in Boston, AR; 2 sons, C. Harrison 'Harry' Thurston of Fayetteville and Michael Thurston of Patrick, AR; 1 daughter, Lana Thurston of Boise, Idaho.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Wiles officiating. Burial will be in Witter cemetery.

Rose Ann Bristow, 55, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born August 16, 1954 in Van Buren, AR. to Carl and Billie Dodd.
She was the owner/operator of The Beauty Shop in Farmington for the past 10 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Kim Simpson and husband Chris Simpson of Rogers; a son Jeff Bush of Clarksville; son, Joe Bristow and wife Jessica of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Lauren, Anna-Claire and Will Simpson of Rogers; Chelsey Simpson of Russellville; Tobin Bush of Clarksville and Caleb Freeman of Dardanelle; brother, Toy Dodd of Alma; sisters, Joy Weems of Van Buren; Wilma Phillips of Fayetteville; Barbara Carolina of Moffett, OK. and Carol Parrish of Alma.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Viney Grove Methodist Church in Prairie Grove.

Penny Naomi Grace Burch, 52, of Bentonville died Sunday January 31, 2010 in Bentonville. She was born March 31, 1957 in Huntsville the daughter of Joe Bob and Ruby Fern Bowen Holt.
She served in the United States Navy and was an avid Harley Rider Enthusiast, Nascar lover and avid fisherwoman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Kay Holt.
She is survived by her husband, Grady Burch of the home to whom she married

Billy Carl Casey, 77 of Lincoln died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at home. He was born December 26, 1931 in Limestone, Arkansas to Kermit Taft Casey and Gladys Robinson Casey.
He was self-employed as a carpenter and was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Casey in 2006.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Debbie Kelley of Lincoln, Pam Caldwell of Lincoln; son, Danny Casey of Lincoln; 2 sisters, Wanda Prince of Prairie Grove, AR, Ava Robertson of Van Buren, AR and 3 grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Beard's Funeral Chapel and Crematory handled the cremation arrangements.
