Gerry Murdock, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 at her home. She was born at Havana, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Henry and Ruth Chappell. Mrs. Murdock was a retired Clerk from Arkansas Nuclear One and was a member of First Baptist Church of Russellville. Gerry is survived by her Son, Dawayne Murdock, Ft. Buddy Bocksnick
Buddy Bocksnick, 83, a resident of Dover, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville.
A son of the late John Henry and Matilda Erna Clemens Bocksnick, he was born May 6, 1928, in Augsburg. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Augsburg where he served as an elder. He was a lifetime member and served as a board member for the Farm Bureau and was a member of the River Valley Antique Machinery Club.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Betty Jean Louthan Bocksnick; four sons and three daughters-in-law, John Louis and Joyce Bocksnick of Willow Spring, N.C., Jim and Patricia Bocksnick of Dover, Jack and Charlene Bocksnick of Dover and Jerry Bocksnick of Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ricky Jones of Atkins; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at the Shinn Chapel, with Pastor Thom Lakso officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Earl Schrock, Demian Schrock, Rusty Dorn, Brett Graves, James McWilliams and Robert “Junior” Sims. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the River Valley Antique Machinery Club, Tom Willis, Lawrence Steuber, Edwin Steuber, Bob McAlister, Edwin Shinn, and special pallbearers are his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Clarence was an avid reader, enjoyed all sports especially baseball and truly enjoyed family get-togethers. Milburn Isom
Milburn Lee “Bud” Isom, 85, a resident of Russellville, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born on May 15, 1926, at Morrilton to Milburn and Sarah Effie Jones Isom. He grew up and went to school in Pine Bluff, where he graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1946. He worked at the Pine Bluff Boy’s Club for 44 years where he served as director for several years. He loved all sports, was a true Razorback fan and was a member of the Hawley Memorial United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bernice Tuck Isom; and a special nephew, John E. Jehlen.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Ellen Jehlen and Ida Chambliss, both of Russellville; a step-son, Ross Tuck and his wife, Vickie, of Victoria, Canada; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews, Jordan Jehlen of Guy, Carol Jehlen of Russellville, Mike, Lindi and Hayden Wade, all of Jonesboro, David, Jessica, Drake and Brody Morris, all of Russellville; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Graceland cemetery in Pine Bluff with the Rev. Roy Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

He was born on January 5, 1928 in Warren, Arkansas, to Tommy and Marcie Myrtle (Level) Reppond. Mr. Reppond retired with 32 years of service with ConAgra. Opal Ray Pledger
Opal Ray Pledger, 99, of Morganton, N.C., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care in Valdese, N.C.
He was born Jan. 10, 1912, in Logan County to William Asa and Susie Wilkins Pledger.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ercie Marie Gray Pledger; a son, Willie Ray “Bill” Pledger; and a grandson, Mark William Pledger.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Caroll Pledger; a granddaughter, Susan Janean Dupuis; four great-grandchildren, Christal Michelle Abernathy, Melissa Dawn Rogers, Joseph Jeremy “JJ” Dupuis and Samantha Marie Pledger; and seven great-great-grandchildren, Brittany Lynn Dupuis, Amberle Barber, McKinzie Nicole Feimster, Dalton Thomas Rogers, Skyler Douglas Dupuis, Joseph Ray “J.R.” Dupuis and Lydia Julianna-Marie Dupuis.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Havana Assembly of God, officiated by the Rev. Bob Caldwell.
Burial will be in the Havana cemetery by Shinn Funeral Service in Russellville.

Robbie Loretta Logan
(February 4, 1926 - March 10, 2013)
Robbie Loretta Logan, 87, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home. She was born February 4, 1926 in Weinert, Texas to the late Aubrey and Martha (Taylor) Harrison. She moved to Booneville when she was eleven years old.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Grayson Baptist Church. She judged many home economics projects at the county fair. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, antiquing, shopping at TJ Maxx and annual vacations to Mazatlan, Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her husband Pete Logan, her sister, Nita Severe and brothers, Loyd and Floyd Harrison.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Bud Davis cemetery in the Grayson Community near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy and husband Lee Ligon of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; three sons, Garry Logan of Booneville, Arkansas, Patrick Logan and wife Audrey of Booneville, Arkansas, Grady Logan and wife Sandy of San Marcos, California; grandsons, Ryan Logan, Blake Logan and wife Sandra, Daniel Ligon and wife Kristy, and Levi Logan; granddaughters, Katie and husband Brian Vining, Maizie Logan; three great grandchildren, Marianna and Zachary Ligon, Lorelei Vining; three sisters, Jewell Porter, Naomi Crowley and Wanda Partain all of Booneville, Arkansas; good friends Tina Reid and Jerry and Jean Gadbury and her faithful puppy, Lola.

She was born on January 14, 1922 in Braggs, Oklahoma, to Willie and Eunice Lee (Mathews) Hair. She was a homemaker and a member of Harding Place Church of Christ at Searcy, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by by two husbands, Walter J. Calvert and Virl Pittman Sisco; two brothers, Herman and Dwight Hair; and three sisters, Joyce Schnerre, Lucille Hair, and Bessie Ruth Hair. Cook Donna S. Lessig on June 14, 1997 at Appleton, Arkansas. He worked for over 20 years as a press operator with Ladish. He was a United States Army Veteran of VietNam Era. He was a member of National Rifle Association and a member of Second Baptist Church where he attended Larry Morell's Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by a wife, Patsy Linton Cook and three grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Donna S. Flossie Lualla Dobbs, 85, of Booneville passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013, in Fort Smith. She was born Aug. 20, 1927, in Stuttgart to Sam and Stella (Puckett) Young. Flossie was retired from the Booneville Human Development Center and was a member of Grace Church in Booneville. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Stella Young; two daughters, Dolley Bills and Susie Helms; one son, Calvin Bills; and one brother, Lloyd Young.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Church in Booneville with burial following at Sugar Grove cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Bush of Bay Pointe, Calif.; one son, David Bills of Booneville; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be William Hall, Calvin Bills, Kelly Mezzaline, David Bills, Gabriel Landrum, Nathan Bills and Roy Huggins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Jeffcoat and Hugh Bush.
