Ann Lee Rutherford
JONESBORO -- Ann Lee Rutherford, 81, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Dec. 8, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born in Trumann, she moved to Jonesboro 40 years ago. She was a retired clerk with Singer Company and was an avid gardener. She was of the Christian belief.
Survivors include two sons, James E. and Richard L. Rutherford, both of Jonesboro; three daughters, LaVera J. Davis and Barbara S. Dungan, both of Little Rock, and Olivia A. Hall of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mornay Busby of Trumann and Catherine Rutherford of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Beth, Scott, Nikki, Matthew, and Blake Rutherford, Shannon Hall, Elizabeth and Jan Miller Dungan; and two great-grandchildren, Haydin and Avery Hall.
Active pallbearers will be Shannon Hall, Jan Dungan, Matthew Rutherford, Blake Rutherford, John D. Rutherford and Joe Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Mackey, Jerry Berry and Tony House.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert L. Rutherford; her parents, Jim and Lessie Haws Christy; and one grandson, Kirk A. Davis.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel with Mitch Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Elmer Bagwell Jr.
TUPELO -- Elmer Bagwell Jr., 80, of Tupelo died Friday at Newport.
He was born May 5, 1925, at Shoffner, the son of Elmer and Corneia Coleman Bagwell.
Mr. Bagwell is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marie Handshy Bagwell; two sons, Jay Preston Bagwell and Richard Lee Bagwell and wife Krissten, all of Tupelo; two sisters, Janice Ivy and Imogene Bagwell, both of Newport; and four grandchildren, Amanda Bagwell, Amber Bagwell, Jordan Bagwell and Peyton Bagwell.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sandhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday.
Lola Mae Gibson
PIGGOTT -- Lola Mae Gibson, 99, of Piggott passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital.
A retired teacher, she taught for 45 years in the Piggott area. She was active at First Baptist Church, Piggott Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and Relay for Life.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Hoggard and Sons Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery
at Pollard.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today.
Gaylon Deral Holt
WALNUT RIDGE -- Gaylon Deral Holt, 73, of Walnut Ridge died Dec. 9 at St. Vincent hospital in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Scott Holt; his mother, Francis Hart Holt; and five brothers, J.C., Bobby, Winfred, Gerald and Jody Wayne Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Lola Mae Holt of the home; two sons, Dennis Holt of Hoxie and Ronnie Holt of Pocahontas; three daughters, Dolores Gaunt and Debra Hutsell, both of Hoxie, and Darlene Pollock of Paragould; and two grandchildren, Carmen Holt of Pocahontas and Sierra Corona of Walnut Ridge.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at McNabb Funeral Home, with Buddy Tribble officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. military honors will be conducted by VFW Promberger-Traw Post 4556.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MARKED TREE -- Janice Lawrence, 55, of Marked Tree died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005.
She was born May 17, 1950, at Marked Tree.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Wayne Lawrence; and one brother, James Lawrence.
Ms. Lawrence is survived by one son, Edward Lawrence; one brother, Larry Lawrence; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home Chapel, with Marvin Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday.

JONESBORO -- Ron Miller, 49, of Jonesboro died Thursday at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Martha Jane Miller.
Survivors include sons, Ronald Hoyt "R.J." Miller Jr. and John George Miller, both of Jonesboro; daughter, Laura Miller of Jonesboro; ex-wife, Lisa House of Jonesboro; and brother, Greg Miller of Jonesboro.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Gary Henderson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private.

WILLIFORD -- George Paul "Jimmy" Renfro, 50, of Williford died Friday at his residence.
He is survived by three sons, Steven Shepperson of Luxora, William Renfro of Blytheville and Kevin Renfro of Michigan; a daughter, Billie Jean Renfro of Wyoming; four brothers, Raymond Renfro of Jonesboro, Bobby Renfro of Harrisburg, Ray Renfro of Trumann and Joe Renfro of Osceola; three sisters, Nellie Brown and Margie Renfro, both of Bay, and Brenda McCamon of Memphis; and eight grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Friday at the American Legion Post near Hardy.
Hester Juanita Tilley
NORTH LITTLE ROCK -- Hester Juanita Tilley, 91, of North Little Rock died Friday.
She was born April 14, 1914, to Robert and Laura Alberta Whellis Collum.
Mrs. Tilley was preceded in death by her husband, Glen N. Tilley; two daughters, Glenda Piker and Berla Mae Whitfield; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include four daughters, Mary Fain of Portia, Kay McCloud of Heber Springs, Brenda Gregory of Little Rock and Beverly Tilley of North Little Rock; a brother; a half-brother; a half-sister; and 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today. Jackson's Newport Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Vadie Earlene Vest
NEWPORT -- Vadie Earlene Vest, 79, of Bradford died Thursday at Newport.
She was born Feb. 2, 1926, the daughter of Arley and Vadie Fuller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Vest; a son, Bobby Vest; a daughter, Janice Vest; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Vest of Toledo, Ohio, and David Vest of Oil Trough; a sister, Della Gottfried; six grandchildren, Clint, Brock, Lauren, Allie, Eric and Logan Vest; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Union Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be in Maple Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today.
