Kyle Tyrone Rogers, 21, of Jacksonville, died May 2, 2004. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as the assistant manager of Subway in Gravel Ridge.
He is survived by his parents, Robert Rogers and Tim and Kathy Rankin; his grandmother Violet Patrick; two sisters, Dawn Vanbusker and Myrya Rogers; four brothers, Michael Rogers, Dustin Youngblood, Roscoe Youngblood, and William Rogers.
A gathering of friends will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 7 at Griffin-Leggett Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the funeral home with Bro. Paul Rice officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Penny Lee Hawley
Penny Lee Hawley, 52, of Sherwood died May 10, 2004.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors are her husband, Edward A. Hawley; a son, Chad Hawley of Goose Creek, S.C.; her mother, Rosalie Lott of Yucca Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren; brothers, Alfred Lott and Butch Lott, both of California; sisters, Judy Carter of Pennsylvania, Suzanne Pewterbaugh of Arkansas, Terry DeShane of California and Phyllis of New York.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m., May 14, at Griffin-Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home.
Levadell C. Ivey
Levadell Copeland Ivey, 96, of Sherwood died May 10, 2004.
She was a member of Pleasant Home Church of Christ.
Survivors are daughters, Mary Alice McDonald of Mountain Home and Lemmie Rose Maddox of Gravel Ridge; a sister, Cortelle Hundley of Wichita, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was May 13 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Arkansas Memorial Gardens, North Little Rock.
Edward Maxwell
Edward Maxwell, 72, of Jacksonville died.
He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Survivors are his children, Jackie Washington, Darryl Maxwell, Steve Maxwell, Kenny Maxwell, Ruthie Trotter, Carlos Maxwell, Peggy Maxwell, all of Jacksonville and Brenda Nelson of Sherwood; brothers, Nathaniel and Jessie Earl Maxwell of North Little Rock; and 15 grandchildren.
Marie Ignoffo
Marie Elizabeth Ignoffo, of Sherwood, died Friday, May 21, 2004 at Arkansas Hospice Center, North Little Rock.
Marie is survived by a daughter, Marilou Coins and a son, Ralph Norsen. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A gathering was held Monday, May 24, at Griffin-Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 25, at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Sherwood, with Reverend Will Feland officiating. Interment followed at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

John E. Braden Jr., 55, of North Little Rock, died May 22, 2004.
He was a member of Sylvan Hills Community Church, Vietnam veteran and former Associate Movie Producer.
He is survived by his parents, John E. Braden Sr., and Mildred Hardin Braden, formerly of North Little Rock, now residing in Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Mary Frances Travis of Medford, Ore., and Jennette Brown of Fort Worth; sons John Clark Braden of Texarkana, and David Edward Braden of Dallas.
Memorial service was held Wednesday, May 26, North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Nancy Roena Miller Patterson died Sunday, May 23, 2004.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dr. J.D. Patterson; three daughters, Beth Pemberton of Searcy, Amy Patterson of Sherwood and Jo DeGroat of Jackson, Miss.; three sisters, Martha N. Miller of Searcy, Marinella Haygood of Rosenberg, Texas, and Alice Terrell of Stillwater, Okla.; four brothers, Namon Miller of Yorba Linda, Calif., Frank Miller of Rifle, Colo., Robert and Donald Miller of Searcy.
She was past president of the Greenkeepers Garden Club, a Master Gardener, Garden Clubber of the Year, Woman of the Year in Judges Council and received top awards in local and state flower shows.
Funeral services were Thursday at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Gum Springs cemetery.

Ellen Matthews Twitty Korfanity, 69, of Sherwood died April 14, 2004.
She is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Jacks of Sherwood, and Rebecca Ann Price of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Larry Wayne Matthews of Yuma, Ariz., and Richard Leon Matthews of North Little Rock; two sons, Michael Twitty of Nashville, Tenn., and Christopher Korfanty of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Felicia Patterson of Claremore, Okla.; and two grandchildren.

Elvie Lea Lane Moffett, 85, of Little Rock died May 19, 2004.
She was a member of the 6th and Izard/Windsong Church of Christ in Little Rock.
Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Troy Franklin Moffett; a daughter, Phyllis Barnard of Sherwood; a son, Kenneth Moffett of Little Rock; sister, Erma Bess Kimes of Little Rock; and three grandchildren.

She was a member of Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Henry McPherson and Ronnie McPherson; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was June 1, at Sylvan Hills Community Church in Sherwood, with interment in the Sumner cemetery following the service.

Roderick G. Piker, Col. (Ret.), died Thursday, May 27, 2004.
He retired from the Arkansas Army National Guard and was a Baptist, a member of the Sylvan Hills Lodge #745 F&AM, Little Rock Scottish Rites, Pine Bluff Arsenal Chapter #166, National Sojourners, and American Legion Post #1.
He is survived by his wife Louise; son, Bruce; stepson, Mike Elmore; two grandsons; sister, Mona Lacy; and a brother, Chuck Piker.

Royce Lynn Henry, 18, died June 13, 2004.
He recently graduated from North Pulaski High School and was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Cabot.
He is survived by his adoptive mother/grandmother, Bobby Sue Henry, and mother, Blenda Breedlove of Sherwood; five brothers, Chris Smith, Shannan Hyde, Damien Breedlove, Bobby Breedlove, Richard Washburn, all of Sherwood; one sister, Hazel Washburn of Sherwood.
Graveside service was June 17, at Rest Hills cemetery under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
