POCAHONTAS -- Geraldine Bailey, 61, of Pocahontas died Sunday, Dec. 4, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born April 24, 1944, in Beloit, Wis., she is survived by two sons, James and Larry Bailey; and a daughter, Dawn Johnson, all of Pocahontas; a brother, Bob Pearsall of Beloit; a sister, Beverly Vigdal of Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bailey.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home at Pocahontas with Glenn Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Roy Boy Bryant
JONESBORO -- Roy Boy Bryant, 72, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Dec. 6, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Sandra Kay Burr
Paragould -- Sandra Kay Burr was born to Clint and Ruby Burr on Nov. 22, 1949, at Monette. She passed away Nov. 28, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Gracie Nadine Scallion; two brothers, Hubert Lavon Burr and Tommy Eugene Burr.
She is survived by three sisters, Sandy Kauffman of Stockton, Calif., Sherry Joan Faries and Phyllis Sue Huggins of Paragould; two brothers, C.D. Burr of White Oak, Mo., and Jack L. Burr of Niles, Mich.
The body was cremated with the ashes to be returned to Tucson, Ariz., her home. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Heath Funeral Home.
Alvie Cain Sr.
TOMAH, Wis. -- Alvie Cain Sr., age 79 of Tomah, Wis., formerly of Hoxie, died Sunday, Dec. 4.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter Cindy Nelson of Tomah; two sons, Alvie "Butch" Cain Jr. of Hoxie and Mike Cain of Cord; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister JoAnn Parrish of Hoxie.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Bryan Chapel with J. P. Morgan officiating. Interment will be in Arnold Cemetery
by Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Visitation will be Friday morning from 11:30 until time of service.
Namie Due
KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Namie Due, 73, of Kalamazoo died Friday, Dec. 2, in Michigan.
She was born Jan. 21, 1932, at Tokyo.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Due of Kalamazoo; and granddaughter, Morgan Thomas of Plainwell, Mich.
Funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Cherry officiating. Interment will be at Sandhill Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m today.
Pallbearers: Nicholas Winkles, Jonathan Haley, Jason Thompson, Larry Jones, Harold Clark, Claude E. Davis and Keith Plummer; honorary pallbearer: Kirby Simpson.

PARAGOULD -- Dorothy Helen Ellison, 79, of Paragould died Tuesday.
Survivors are daughters Roxy Hanna, Margaret Lindsey, and Rosa Hazlewood, all of Paragould.
Visitation is from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at Heath Funeral Home.
Family and friends will meet at the Masonic Cemetery
in Pocahontas for a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

PINE BLUFF -- June Ann Laminack Fillingim, 73, died Monday, Dec. 5, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, Ace Laminack of Jonesboro and Gary Laminack of Ohio; daughter, Alicia Musgrove of White Hall; sister, Alma Tiner of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren, Vanessa Laminack Pickett and Elizabeth Howell of Jonesboro, April Green of Ohio, Amber Laminack and Aimee Laminack of Ohio, and Joseph and Michael Musgrove of White Hall.
Pallbearers will be James Laminack, Cullen Laminack, Ace Laminack, Gary Laminack, Ronnie Musgrove and Joseph Musgrove. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren: Nanessa Laminack Pickett, Elizabeth Laminack Howell, April Laminack Green, Amber Laminack, Aimee Laminack, Michael Musgrove and Garland Brown.
Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Maranatha Baptist Church by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors with David Cripps officiating. Burial is in Graceland Cemetery.
Maurice L. Hardin
JONESBORO -- Maurice L. Hardin, 88, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, Dec. 4, at Ridgecrest Health and Rehab. Born at Hardy, he was a member of the 447th Bomb wing flight crew in World War II that flew missions over Europe and of the Nettleton Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Luther Hardin and Anna Wade Hardin; and a son, William M. Hardin.
Graveside services were 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Shiloh Cemetery
in Center with Bill Thornton officiating.
Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge.
Lillian Shirley King
JONESBORO -- Lillian Shirley King, 79, of Jonesboro died Sunday at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was born in the Gilkerson Community and had lived in Jonesboro her entire life. She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Oak Grove Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray King; her parents, Marion Edgar and Willie Mae Gallion; two sons, Gary Donald King and James Allen King, three sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include six sons, Larry King, Lowell King, Lonnie Ray King, Edwin King, David King, and Wynndel King, all of Jonesboro; four daughters, Lila Huddleston of Jonesboro, Sheila Powell of Toccoa, Ga., Nora Davis of Chandler, Ariz., and Darlene Harrison of Jonesboro; 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emmett McCrackin officiating, with burial at Gibson Cemetery
and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Tony Files, Dustin Tubbs, Chris James, Mark Gallion, Freddy Wright, and Robert Herndon.
Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

CAVE CITY -- John Fielding Manuel, 49, of Cave City died Thursday, Dec. 1, at Tucson, Ariz. Born March 15, 1956, at Paragould to Thomas O. and Gracie (Grimes) Manuel, he was a truck driver and painter. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
FuNeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Quall Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City, with Roger Koonce and John Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today.
Dorothy Leona McKee
SEARCY -- Dorothy Leona McKee, 79, of Searcy, died Sunday, Dec. 4. Born at Downey, Calif., she was the daughter of Delmar and Jessie Myers Casida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McKee, parents, one son, twin daughters.
Surviving are two sons, Jesse and Ronnie McKee; one daughter, Belinda Stark; two brothers; one sister; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home Wynne Chapel. Interment in Branishaw Cemetery
at Pinetree.

CHEROKEE VILLAGE -- Doris K. Schaffert, 93, of Cherokee Village died Sunday, Dec. 4, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem. She married William Schaffert.
Survivors include daughter, Dora Schaffert; son, William Scaffert; brother, Carl Hoffman; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cherokee Village United Methodist Church with, the Revs. Bob Burton and Kay Burton officiating. Burial is at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oak Brook Terrace, Ill.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel, Highland.
