Mickey Lynn Lairson
TRUMANN -- Mickey Lynn Lairson, 46, of Trumann died Wednesday at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Trumann and worked at Vinco. He was of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Wesley Lairson.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Louise Headrick; two daughters, Lisa Marie Lairson and Casey Lynn Lairson, both of Trumann; a brother, Charles Lairson of Brookland; and a sister, Belinda Lairson of Trumann. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Lyric and Skylar.
There will be a memorial service at his mother's home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday night. The address is 7605 Joshua Lane, Bay.
Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Verna Guilliams Milgrim
HOXIE -- Verna Guilliams Milgrim, 78, died Thursday.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Watts of Pocahontas; her sister, Virginia Martin of Oil Trough; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Forest Cemetery
in Black Rock under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of
Walnut Ridge with Don House officiating.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Walter Earl Mooney
LUXORA -- Walter Earl Mooney, 61, of Luxora died Monday.
He was born March 13, 1944, and served in the Army. He was a factory worker and member of Zion Chapel.
Survivors include a sister, Linda Mooney of Luxora; a brother, Cleo Mooney of Chicago; and a companion, Sarah Riley.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist in Luxora.
Burial will be in Sandy Ridge at Burdette with Wilson Funeral Home at Osceola in charge of arrangements.
Myrtie Ola Ramsey
JONESBORO, La. -- Myrtie Ola Ramsey, 85, of Jonesboro, La., formerly of Cave City, died Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Jonesboro, La.
She was born Feb. 18, 1920, at Evening Shade, Ark., to Samuel and Leona Arnold Taylor. She was a homemaker and a pastor's wife for 60 years in the Church of God.
Services will be 2 p.m. today in Qualls Funeral Home Chapel at Cave City with the Rev. Albert Davis officiating. Burial will be at Cave City Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Earnest Tubbs
GRUBBS -- Earnest Tubbs, 60, of Grubbs died Friday.
Born at Newport, he was a member of Grubbs Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jean Tubbs of Grubbs; son, Earnest Tubbs Jr. of La.; daughter, Mary Ann Masters of Bradford; brother, Kenneth Tubbs of La.; sister, Dovie Ferguson of La.; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Cody and Ashley Ann Masters.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Grubbs Church of Christ with interment in Ballews Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6-9 p.m.

Doyle Wheat
RECTOR -- Doyle Wheat, 81, of Rector died Nov. 24 in the VA Hospital at Memphis.
He was a lifelong resident of this area, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Eastside Holly Island Church in Rector. He also attended Sunnyside Baptist Church in Dewitt.
Survivors include four sons, Dillard Wheat of Ontario, Danny Wheat of Rector, Doyne Wheat of Cordiva, Tenn. and David Wheat of Locust Grove; two brothers, Jearl Wheat and Bob Wheat, both of Rector; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Wheat, on Dec. 30, 2003; his parents, Oscar Lloyd and Audrie Eagle Wheat; and two sisters, Murel McDaniel and Christine Wheat.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with John Young and Kenny Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. until funeral time.
Pallbearers will be Dillard, Danny, Doyne, Jeffery and Craig Wheat and Dale Guthrie.
Marcella Willbanks
ELSBERRY, Mo. -- Marcella Willbanks, 83, of Elsberry, Mo., formerly of Ozark Acres, died Wednesday.
She was born the daughter of the late William Williamson and Lillian Craig Williamson.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Dillon of Ballwin, Mo.; son-in-law, Wayne Pflasterer of Elsberry, Mo.; her son, Conrad Willbanks of Midway City, Calif.; one sister, Frances Forsythe of Kennett, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at Heath Oak Hill Chapel 1 p.m. Monday with Bob Hewett officiating and interment at Williford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 3-6 p.m. Sunday.

JONESBORO -- Graveside services for Kattie Goddard Hogan, 93, of Jonesboro, formerly of Monette, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Monette Cemetery
with Pastor Rodney Shanner officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette, which is in charge of arrangements.
C.T. 'Punch' Holcombe
NEWPORT -- C.T. "Punch" Holcombe, 90, of Newport died Wednesday.
He was born Aug. 18, 1915, the son of M.P. and Neoma Holcombe.
Mr. Holcombe was preceded in death by one daughter, Helen Jean Holcombe; his parents; and four brothers, Roe Holcombe, Ben Holcombe, Cliff Holcombe and Leo Holcombe.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Brown Parnell Holcombe of Newport; two stepsons, Floyd B. Parnell of Newark and Larry Thomas Parnell of Newport; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will be in Holcombe Cemetery.

WALNUT RIDGE -- Verna Milgrim, 78, of Walnut Ridge died Thursday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Glen A. 'Jabo' Ryan
Paragould -- Glen A. "Jabo" Ryan, 85, of Paragould died Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Arkansas Medthodist Medical Center.
He was a retired elementary principal, having started his teaching career in Walcott. He coached basketball at Lakeside elementary, and was principal for Light Elementary, Greene County (South School), Rector Elementary, Leachville Elementary and at Southland, Mo. Elementary. He retired in 1977. He was a member of the Rosewood Baptist Church, having served as Deacon, Treasurer, Organist, song leader and Sunday school teacher. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in Calcutta and Bombay, India. He was a Tech. Sgt. over airplane maintenance on P-38s and P-40 Flying Tigers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin A. and Mary Willcoxson Ryan; and two brothers, Allyn and Bob Ryan.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ethelene Williams Ryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Glen and Vicky Ryan of Paragould and Al and Harriet Ryan of Lafe; a brother, L.V. Ryan of Paragould; two sisters, Clarice Lovelace and Donna Smith of Jonesboro and Peggy Dunn of Walcott; four grandchildren, Heather Ryan, Nicole Threlkeld, Natalie Ryan and Alex Ryan; and a great-grandchild, Kyleigh Threlkeld.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Rosewood Baptist Church with the Revs. Don Hutto and Marion Gramling officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Rosewood Baptist Church.
